"Interesting, so there really is a stronger being behind them, is it the monster of The Great Forest?. No, the intel suggests that he doesn't like humans let alone help them with their war. So there's a another transcended being on this continent, how intriguing, I wonder when we'll meet face to face?" The demon lord started mattering to himself after the girls disappeared.
The dukes looked on for a while not knowing whether to interrupt or not.
"My lord, what are your orders, should we continue with the invasion?" Minerva eventually mastered up the courage to talk.
"No, gather the men and retreat, we will continue that another day, today was already eventful enough and I need to think for a while. The demon lord replied without looking back.
The dukes left him alone to carry out their given orders....they all failed to notice that the right arm the demon used to defend himself from the girls' compined attacks was subtly shaking.
"Hehehe, even with my strong recovery abilities it still hurts till now, what a devastating attack, I hope I never have to face it from an opponent who knows how to use it or I might not make it out alive...but then again it seems like it requires quite a bit of time to activate so if I don't give them the time to should be fine" The demon lord spoke to himself a bit more while looking at his hand before he also disappeared from the scene.

In a little forest somewhere in the human territory a lonely cabin stood.
"Did you have fun?". A young male voice rang out in the silence.
"Yes, yes we did, but we also realised how weak we still are....and thanks for saving us". The one who replied was surprisingly the silver haired girl, one of the five girls who suddenly disappeared in front of the demon lord. The other girls all nodded to what the silver haired one said.
The young man was sitting on a chair by the fire place while polishing a large glaive's blade with an almost tender look on his face. The girls stood behind him unmoving despite how tired they felt. The reason why they didn't sit down as well was because they had ignored his advice when he said they were still too weak to fight the demon lord, so they felt to ashamed to sit down with him. This was because their egos had gotten inflated from fighting the dukes and they thought the demon lord wouldn't be much stronger. If he didn't intervene they would have been captured and likely been made to experience a fate worse than death.
"Good, as long as you had fun, now go relax at the hot spring while I go hunt us some dinner" with that the young man and his glaive disappeared from the room
The girls all stared at the chair that the young man disappeared from for a bit before looking down in shame. After a moment of silence they headed out to the hot spring which would increase the speed of their energy recovery.
With that, the cabin was lonely once more....

A week later.....
The demon lord was back to the scene of the battle once again with his soldiers and dukes. This time though, the girls didn't appear, which disappointed him greatly. Instead what stood before him was the human army which might as well have been ants to him.
"Let's get this over with and move on with it". The demon lord said with a bored look on his face as he held up his arm and a pitch black energy ball started forming in the air.
The ball grew so large that it could cover up more than five thousand people while the army only had fifteen thousand, meaning at least a third of the human army will be wiped out by just one attack from the demon lord.
"Ord of annihilation" the demon lord slowly said in a bored voice.
And with that, the orb fell, made contact with soldiers and a third of them was erased from existence. Eerily the land and grass the soldiers once stood on looked unharmed, so much so that if it wasn't stepped on by the soldiers before it would look prestine.
"Well it's soon to be my land so I can't go around creating pits like a barbarian..."
Just as the demon lord's voice rang, the demons were awed by his control while the humans were instead horrified by his power which was simply beyond anything they had experienced before. Even the dukes they feared souch could only take out tens of people out at once or a bit over a hundred if they tried harder but to take out thousands so casually too was simply unimaginable.
"Mon..monster!!!, where are the sages, we need their help!!!"
"Y-Yeah, only the sages can fight this creature!"
"I--I don't think that even they can take on this one!"
"We should retreat!!"
The human soldiers started shouting in panick while stepping backwards slowly, they didn't want to trigger the monster by straight up running away.
"Stop". The demon lord's voice rang out once again.
It was quite charming actually, but to the humans it sounded like the ringing of their death bells. So when they heard it one soldier couldn't take the pressure so made a run for it. Like sand in a plastic bag that just got poked, they all started trickling away in their fastest speeds, led by their commanders and captains ironically.
"Honestly...I thought I could have it easy today, I guess I will get a bit serious" with that statement said, three giant orbs similar to the one before appeared.
"This time I'll give up control since you all don't want to die gracefully with your dignity"
