Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Annoying Damon

Since Lovie knew she would be leaving the Crown's home, she had already rented an apartment.

She was dropped off at the apartment building by the cab driver; the apartment is in a less upscale neighborhood, but it is secure. They have a strong security team as well.

Lovie hurriedly pulled her bag inside the apartment building, got into the elevator, and it stopped at her apartment level because she was so eager to move into her new house. "Home sweet home," Lovie murmured to herself as she carried her bag out of the elevator and opened the door to her flat.

The apartment is pretty large and includes two bedrooms and a living area. She purchased it completely furnished. She worked all day, cleaning the house, organizing her luggage, and going to the market to buy groceries for herself, so she didn't have to buy any more furnishings. By the time she finished all of this, the sky had already grown dark. After preparing a modest noodles dinner for herself, she fell asleep exhausted.

On another day, Lovie woke up in the afternoon to discover that she had slept through the entire day and that her stomach was rumbling. She made herself a basic dinner, ate it, washed her teeth, and then took a bath.

She went to the hospital with hair samples she had previously taken from Sheila and Mr. Crown Hair. She inquired when she might expect the results as soon as possible, and they advised her to return a week later.

After leaving the hospital, Lovie wandered around the night market, purchasing various foods from various vendors, and by the time she arrived home, she was completely stuffed. Before she went to bed, Lovie told herself, "I like how I spent my life peacefully like this." Thank God, she got up early on the third day after moving into the apartment and avoided oversleeping like she had the day before.

After purchasing all of the high school curriculum books at a bookstore, Lovie has made the decision to employ a tutor because she is unable to answer even a single question on her own. The woman who was assisting her with packing up the books gave her a strange look when she paid and asked her what she intended to do with so many books.

A car abruptly pulled up next to her as she was leaving the bookstore with her books. The driver rolled down his window and said to Lovie, "Miss Crown, my young master would like to meet you."

How could someone just stop her beside the road and tell her that a young master was seeking her without giving her the master's details? Lovie wondered if there was something wrong with the man's mind. She had no idea what the driver was thinking or whether he believed that kidnapping someone was that simple.

Even yet, Lovie chose to inquire, "Who's your young master?" so as not to offend the man. The driver responds, "I was asked to bring you to my master, Damon."

Lovie gave a dramatic eye roll, stating that she had already forgotten about the man since she had been so preoccupied with her plan of retaliation. The bad guy has already sent someone to come get her, and she hasn't even gone to find him to make amends.

"Go back to your master and tell him that I'm not interested in meeting him; what happened between us should be forgotten.". Lovie informed the driver and proceeded on her way home. She discovered that the driver was following her instead of leaving as she had instructed. Lovie came to a halt and glared at the car. She walked over to it, and the driver stepped out right away. Lovie questioned the man, "Why are you following me, and why haven't you left?"

"Miss Crown, please, you need to understand my plight. I'm an ordinary driver, and Mr. Damon told me that if I did not manage to bring you to him, there's no need for me to come to work tomorrow," the driver stated to Lovie.

Since she hadn't dug his ancestor's tomb, Lovie was furious and wondered how someone could be so vile. She also wondered why he wouldn't leave her alone. It's unbelievable to Lovie that Damon even threatened to fire his own driver in order to persuade her to come meet him. She told the driver that she was going to accompany him because Damon was so eager to meet her. As soon as possible, the driver opened the car door for Lovie and assisted her in carrying her books. The driver dropped her book on the passenger seat before getting back in the car to drive when Lovie got inside.

After the car began to move, Lovie learned that it was heading to the most affluent region of NA country. "So that man is rich; no wonder he is so arrongant." Lovie knew that not just any rich people , can live on this side of town, but she characterized Damon as such because she didn't like him.

Despite his wealth, Lovie's father, Mr. Crown, is unfit to reside in this neighborhood.

Lovie was enthralled with the scene as the car passed through this affluent neighborhood. "The truly wealthy people are living the life," she thought to herself, because the houses in this region are big, not crowded, and have lovely landscapes. "I need to put in a lot of effort in this life so that I can also live in such homes," Lovie keeps thinking.
