Kia's body trembled as Daniel's hands slid down her neck, slowly removing her towel. A tear rolled down her cheek as he threw the towel aside, pulling her closer. She yelped, more tears welling up in her eyes.
Just as she thought he would penetrate her again, he stopped, inhaling the scent of her hair. His index finger trailed down her spine, tracing the curve of her waist and thighs. Kia shuddered, her delicate lips parting in a trembling gasp.
"Do you feel this?" Daniel's hoarse whisper sent shivers down her spine. He pulled back, his eyes locking onto hers. "Since you slept with me, stay away from other men."
Kia's eyes widened, and she frowned, taken aback by his audacity. "Who do you think you are?" she demanded, pushing him away. "We had a one-night stand, that's all. I don't belong to you."
Daniel's gaze roamed over her body, making Kia's face redden with anger. "You pervert!" she yelled, trying to cover herself as she reached for another towel.
But Daniel was too quick, pulling her back and holding her hands behind her. "Let go of me, bastard!" Kia struggled, but Daniel's grip was unyielding.
He moved her hair aside, exposing her neck, and planted slow, deliberate kisses on her skin. "I'm serious," he whispered.
Kia's anger boiled over, and she shouted, "What's your problem? We're not in a relationship, so you can't tell me what to do!" Daniel's response was calm and collected.
"As I said, don't get involved with other men." With that, he covered her and left the bathroom, leaving Kia staring at the closed door in confusion and anger.
His parting words echoed in her mind: "Hurry and join me. Don't get cold; I wouldn't mind hugging you to sleep, but I'm sure you would."
Kia's face twisted in a scowl. "I should not get involved with men? All the more reason for me to get involved with them," she said, a sly smile spreading across her face.
"I'll prepare a lovely birthday gift for my dear sister. " Kia's laughter was laced with a hint of mischief, foreshadowing the events that would unfold.
After finishing up in the bathroom, Kia stepped out, drying her hair with a towel. She noticed Daniel sitting on the bed, engrossed in his phone. A frown etched on her face, Kia asked, "We're not sharing the same bed, are we?"
Daniel shrugged, his expression nonchalant. "We once became one," he said, his words sparking irritation in Kia. She realized that if she continued to be easy with him, he would take advantage of her. It was better to stay away from him.
Kia went over to the phone and called room service, then waited on the couch, scrolling through her phone. The tension between them was palpable, with neither person saying a word to the other or even looking in each other's direction.
The silence was broken only when the doorbell rang, signaling the arrival of room service. Kia got up to open the door and received the clothes she had ordered. She thanked the person who delivered them and then went to change.
After changing, Kia decided not to fight with Daniel and instead went to sleep on the couch.
However, just as she was about to sit down, Daniel boomed, "Come here."
Kia ignored him and continued walking, but Daniel swooped in and swept her off her feet.
Kia struggled, but Daniel held her tightly and lay her on the bed. "You seem to have a lot of energy," he said, his voice low and husky. "I don't mind a better exercise." Kia's struggles ceased, and she remained still.
Daniel covered her with the blanket and then cuddled her close, his voice whispering in her ear, "Now sleep tightly." Despite her initial reluctance, Kia eventually drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Kia woke up to find Daniel nowhere to be found in the room.
Kia breathed a sigh of relief as she got off the bed. Her eyes landed on a sticker that read, "You go home with the bodyguards, I have work to do." Kia's eyes narrowed as she tore off the sticker and threw it in the trash. "Thank God I don't have to see you," she muttered to herself.
Kia noticed a set of clothes laid out on the couch. She checked the size and style before deciding to take a shower and change into them. The clothes fit her well, and she felt a sense of relief at having something clean to wear.
Instead of going home, Kia decided to visit Agatha. "Hey, girl!" Kia exclaimed, hugging Agatha tightly when she opened the door. Then Agatha's eyes widened in surprise as she took in Kia's appearance.
"You had a hectic night, didn't you?" Agatha asked, her voice laced with concern.
Kia nodded, entering the apartment with Agatha. They sat down on the couch, and Agatha asked, "Is the first time always painful?"
Kia looked at her in confusion. "What are you talking about?" she asked.
Agatha hesitated, biting her nails. "I didn't think you guys would get so serious," she said.
Kia's frown deepened. "What makes you think that?" she asked.
Agatha pointed to Kia's neck, her eyes wide with surprise. "That...hickey," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kia's eyes widened in alarm as she touched her neck. "What? How did that get there?" she exclaimed. Agatha looked at her skeptically. "Don't play dumb, Kia. That's definitely a hickey," she said.
Kia's face turned bright red with embarrassment. "This is a disaster," she muttered. "The bodyguards must have seen it. I'm dead," she said, pulling Agatha towards the bathroom. "We need to get rid of this ASAP."
Agatha stopped Kia, her expression serious. "Kia, that hickey needs time to heal. It'll take at least three days," she said. Kia's eyes widened in horror. "What? That's forever," she exclaimed.
Agatha thought for a moment before speaking. "Kia, I have to ask...is this really the first time?" she asked, her eyes searching Kia's face.
Kia nodded her head hastily. "Of course , this is...I mean, it's just a hickey," she stuttered.
