After helping her dress and organizing everything else, they finally left. Kia was relieved, thinking that Daniel was finally taking her home. As they drove, the darkness was illuminated only by the brightly shining stars. Kia stared out at the sky, lost in thought. Earlier, she had considered telling her dad about Daniel, but the thought of marrying him was unbearable. Perhaps she should just keep quiet and endure the situation, but that would mean Daniel would continue to disrupt her life. What should she do?
As the smooth ride continued, Daniel suddenly told her, "Hold tight." Kia wondered why, but soon their car was bumped by another vehicle.
She turned to see several cars behind them, following closely. Her mouth gawked in shock. "Another attack?" she thought. It had been a long time since they'd received threats and attacks, not just her, but her parents and brother as well. However, since Daniel had taken charge of the family's security team, such incidents had decreased significantly. Those who dared to attack would disappear from the country, obviously dealt with by Daniel.
But why was this happening now? Kia's heart started racing. Daniel drove rapidly, dodging the cars that tried to get to them, while Kia held tight. She wanted to cry out, but she pressed her mouth into a straight line. Once, because of her stupidity and disobedience, she had almost been caught and hurt. Although Daniel had saved her and ensured she wasn't harmed, she had learned her lesson. From then on, she had decided to obey him, especially during such occasions. She didn't want to cause trouble for him.
Soon, despite Daniel's efforts to avoid the cars, a few still appeared in front of them. They were trying to surround them, and at that moment, they were on a cliff road. Kia was terrified. What now? But before she could think further, the car went down the cliff, flying through the air. Kia was shocked. Was she going to die? No, not possible. She turned to Daniel and grabbed him, "No, how dare you! Have you wanted to kill me all this while? You lunatic! If I die, I'll haunt you and drag you to hell with me!" she yelled.
Immediately after her last words, the car plunged into the water harshly, making it splatter as it sank.
Up the cliff, the men who had been pursuing them got out of their cars. They were all dressed in black. "Boss, do you think they're dead?" one of the men asked. But the boss, dressed in an outfit similar to Daniel's with a mask on his face, smiled evilly. "Of course not, but it's my turn," he said. After that, they entered a car and drove away.
Back at the mansion, it was already midnight, but Kia and Daniel had not yet arrived. Both parents and Dave were worried. Kia and Daniel had never stayed out for that long. Had they faced danger? Everyone wondered. Kia's father had even ordered a thorough search, but up until now, nobody had found them.
Down, deep in the water, Kia floated, her body swaying wherever the water took her. A while later, someone swam and pulled her out.

A few days later, Kia woke up with a bolt, as if she had just had a nightmare. Her body ached. "Am I already in hell?" she asked herself, her eyes staring at a wooden ceiling hazily. "Ah, hell seems to be so poor. How come it's not burning? Am I in heaven?" she thought.
She stayed in bed for a while until suddenly, as if the thought had kicked in once again, she bolted up to sit. "Wait, heaven," she yelled. Did she really get the chance to be in heaven? She couldn't help but think about it.She wasn't a good person afterall.
"You're awake," she suddenly heard a deep voice. Without looking at him, she lay back down, as if disappointed. "Why do you get to be everywhere I go?" she yelled angrily.
As if ignoring her, Daniel went over and sat beside her. "You really think you're in heaven, huh?" he asked. Kia sat up once again and looked at him boldly, wanting to answer his question, only to remember this man's heartlessness. She shut up and looked down, as if once again fearing him.
He brought a bowl towards her. "Eat," he said, and started to feed her, with her once again being obedient. Wasn't this heaven? How come she could eat? Wait, did it mean she's not dead?
"Am I not dead?" she asked.
"Right," he replied.
"Really, great," she said excitedly.
Once she was done eating, she followed Daniel out as she noticed him move. Soon she realized they were in a forest. What the heck? Since they fell into a lake, shouldn't she be seeing one? What's up with the forest?
"Where are we?" she couldn't help but ask. "A forest," he replied. "Where exactly? Like the name of the forest," she said. "It doesn't have a name," he said.
"Then how are we going to return home? You just came in here. What if there are wild animals around, and... this house, how... the..." She was yelling, but seeing him staring at her emotionlessly, she paused and looked down.
"I have been here before," she heard him say.
She didn't dare ask any more questions or talk further, but she suddenly got an idea to escape. They were in a forest; if she got lost and escaped, he wouldn't find her, right? With those thoughts running through her mind, Kia decided to be obedient.
Through her inquiries, Kia discovered that they had been in the forest for three days, and she had been unconscious for two of those days. As time passed, she realized that it was now the fifth day of their stay. However, Daniel seemed to have no intention of leaving, and he watched her closely, making it impossible for her to sneak away.
Even when she needed to relieve herself, he kept a close eye on her. Kia was exhausted, but she was also grateful that Daniel hadn't been behaving in his usual overly possessive manner or trying to get closer to her.
That day, Daniel had mentioned that they would be picking some fruits. Kia saw this as an opportunity and had been secretly plotting her next move.
