After disappearing, they knew that there was going to be trouble, for everything that was planned for that day went wrong, as did their summon, the one who was supposed to be able to help the king, they knew a problem had just arisen, one that they were not sure of its ending.
The mage and the knights exchanged baffled glances before slowly snapping out of it. They rushed back to the throne room to tell the king what had happened. Neither wanted to tell him, but they knew they had to if they wanted to avoid facing his wrath, which was not going to be pleasant for them.
Upon entering the throne room, the king looked up at them and his eyes narrowed when he saw that they came back, empty-handed and his fingers clenched the armrests of his throne, as he kept his gaze fixed on them, waiting to hear what their excuse was, waiting to hear the reason he got away from them, the young man who seemed helpless yet smart and apparently cunning in his eyes to have slipped through their fingers.
"Your Highness, we tried our best to capture him, but unfortunately he managed to escape from us via a portal or a magical door of some sort," The mage said as he lowered his gaze and the king smirked as he looked at them with an almost menacing glint in his eyes.
"Oh? Is that so? So, this door just appeared out of nowhere huh? Should I be happy about all of this? A little young man like that, managed to slip past the fingers of well-accomplished mages. How exactly am I supposed to take that, huh? How am I supposed to deal with that exactly?" He asked as his eyes narrowed and the mage swallowed at his incompetence, as the king's glare hardened towards him as well as the others that let it happen in the first place.
"I do not take lightly to these kinds of things, I like it when things get done and that too my way, now this is no simple of ordinary matter and you all know that very well, the reason why the summon had to take place today, the state of certain things within the kingdoms, it was a necessary action, a risk I was willing to take, it was a gamble but one with unexpected changes."
"Now, listen here and listen carefully. This guy is to be back here. Find him no matter what. Someday, he will show up, and he will not be able to get too far since he is different. I will not tolerate insubordination. My order is clear. Bring me the young man, no matter. Am I clear?" he asked with a firm tone and unwavering gaze.
The others in the throne room, swallowed in fear about what he might do if they did not listen to him and they did not want to find out either, because the only person it would not end well for, was them.
"We understand very well," The mages responded with their heads low, and he gave them a slight nod of acknowledgment.
They immediately scurried out of the throne room immediately, not wanting to anger him any further, for they knew firsthand, how things would turn out if he were to ever get truly angry and at the time, he was just at the tipping edge of that and they were not going to risk facing any of his wrath.
After they left, his mind drifted back to their new and most unlikely visitor, wondering how they would be fairing and when they would meet again. One thing he knew for sure was that they would meet again sometime in the future, and as the thought crossed his mind, his eyes glowed slightly red.
At the same time, a bright light flashed on top of a hill that was looking over the side of a forest far away from the kingdom and the city and Sion fell out and landed on the soft plain of grass with what looked like a tombstone or some ancient relic stone beside him.
His hand brushed against the stone as he was unconscious and a faint amount of energy was coming from within it as it began glowing and a marking appeared on the very front of the strange piece of stone, it was a strange writing and as his eyes began opening, he barely saw the letters glowing, he could not understand what it was though.
Just then a loud roar was heard coming from within the forest, and the ground beneath shook a bit as his eyes began opening after hearing the sound and he swallowed as the bright light flashed before his eyes.
He groaned as he began hearing a beeping sound and his brows furrowed as he sat up and began trying to understand what was going on.
He heard the roar once again and his eyes widened as he stood up and looked around the area he was in and realized he was far away from the kingdom and the people that were chasing him as well as the king but he could feel a strong presence around him, within the area of the forest, a place which gave off a weird energy.
'Where the hell am I? What is this place?' He wondered as his head began spinning and he gritted his teeth as he looked around.
He could feel a throbbing sensation in his head as he got down on his knees and held his head as he felt a pain shot through his body, he had no idea what was going on with him, all he knew was that he wanted it to stop.
His memories of his life before the switch came flashing before his eyes as they began to blur and he wondered what was going on, it felt as though part of him was being erased and there was nothing that he could do to stop it.
"What is happening to me?" He asked as his voice came out as the female and his brows furrowed as his body began feeling different, as though a smooth flow of energy was passing through his veins.
