Bad Wolf.
Ater a relaxing day of basking in the sun, and harvesting grains to last the next week, Darla was finally heading home, surprisingly she was passing through the deserted street, innocent and naive Darla paid no heed to the warnings of the Old ones, but she'd soon begin to wish she did as she had just sighted a bright red pool of blood flowing from inside a hut just a few minutes into the path. Anyone else would have bolted but not sweet Darla who couldn't pass up the chance to save a life.
Slowly and quietly, she walked into the hut to avoid any jump scares. "Oh, sweet cheese", she gasped as she saw the creature that was slowly loosing it's life force. It had turned almost grey and was on its last breath. "Oh, poor thing, who could have done this to you!" She exclaimed in a pitiful manner, on the verge of tears.
As she approached she found that it had been wounded by claws, and upon looking closer, it turned out to be a wolf that had been injured and left to die. Not able to bear the sight of a dying man any longer, she tore apart a layer of her dress and carefully wrapped up the wounded area watching as the white fabric soaked in the vibrant red against it's pale skin.
She knew she couldn't leave him alone as what left him in this condition could come later to finish it's job, she decided to bring him into her home.
After looking around the surroundings, she found a wooden cart she could haul him into, to transport him to her home. Since she'd decided to keep him, she carefully moved him into the cart along with her things and began the second tedious half of her journey home.
Just as she pushed the heavy cart into her courtyard, she slumped immediately, heaving dramatically. Turns out she was not cut out for this sort of hard labor, she mused. Ater catching her breath she went ahead to start treating the man's wounds, years of treating injuries had made her into quite an expert. After she'd dressed his wounds she began brewing herbal tea for the man, to further fasten his healing process, then she cooked herself supper, she'd had a long day.
Retiring to bed occurred to be the most appealing activity right after she'd ate, and that was exactly what she did.
Dawn came quite swiftly, and as she was about to roll out of bed, she suddenly was suppressed by something or rather someone strangling her, quickly she opened her eyes to see Mr. Wolf glaring down at her like he wished to snap her pretty neck. Furious to see the person she'd saved act ungrateful, she bit at his arm and yelled out, "Bad Wolf!"
