Chapter 32: Forget Everything
LAURA POV
"With my wedding ring" I said to the cabman who scoffed before getting out of the car looking like he was ready to beat me up.
"Do you take me for a joke right now? How much does your wretched second hand ring cost?" He asked moving more closer to me as I kept moving back. He looked scary as hell.
I had thought he was a gentle man but it looked like he wasn't one.
I quickly took the ring out of my hand and stretched it forward making him see the ring I was talking about.
He gulped gawking at the ring, I bet he was extremely stunned. He should have been able to tell that it wasn't going to be just any ring with the hotel I had emerged from before I suddenly barged into his can after waving him down.
"You are giving this out for the drive payment?" He asked, his tone calm and his eyes not darting away from the ring.
