Chapter 35: Learn Basic Manners
Xavier's POV
I wondered why Laura had run off that way earlier at the hall. It felt so weird, so embarrassing and so unclassy.
I had watched as some people muttered to themselves. "Is that not the bride who had just got wedded?"
They talked about how unclassy she was and how funny she seemed to be.
I sighed and walked away trying to keep my anger in check.
What she did could have been a huge problem for me and my business if it gets on the media. But I was glad it didn't because the reporters present were nothing but my associates. It was actually luck because I hadn't allowed any reporters to be present at the wedding hall except the ones I had chosen.
But outside the hall, they were there, swarmed up expecting someone prominent to show up so they could attack them with questions.
I went back to all these as I sat in the car, heading home.
