*Chapter 1: Bad Reputation*
Axel "The Ace" Jackson revved his motorcycle, feeling the rush of adrenaline as he sped down Main Street. His black leather jacket fluttered in the wind, and his piercing blue eyes scanned the crowded sidewalks. People stepped aside, whispering warnings to their children.
Axel's notorious reputation preceded him. He was the bad boy of Oakwood High, feared and respected in equal measure. His rugged good looks and charismatic charm only added to his allure.
As he pulled into the school parking lot, Emily Wilson watched from afar. She was the quintessential good girl – straight-A student, debate team captain, and volunteer at the local animal shelter. Her long, curly brown hair and bright green eyes sparkled with kindness.
Emily's best friend, Sarah, nudged her. "Stay away from him, Em. Axel's trouble."
Emily nodded, but her gaze lingered on Axel's broad shoulders and chiseled features. There was something about him that drew her in, despite the danger.
Axel parked his bike and strode toward the school entrance, his confident swagger commanding attention. Emily felt a shiver run down her spine as their eyes met for a fleeting moment.
"Hey, Emily," Axel said, his deep voice low and husky.
Emily's cheeks flushed. "H-hi, Axel."
Their exchange was brief, but the spark between them was undeniable.
As Axel disappeared into the school, Emily wondered if she'd just made a grave mistake by catching his eye.
