Arianna and I had returned from the brief escapade, and I had informed her that we'd be graced by a visitor—her father. I had told her, however, that she should make no mention of the moonstones that were now in the possession of the vampires and Selena.
"So they have Crystal's moonstone as well?" She had asked, with anger flashing in her eyes. I could tell she was as mad as I was, but she had agreed to let it be kept a secret. And even the guards in whose presence the moonstone was taken from the vault.
If we were going to bring unity, it'd be safe to know that all the stones weren't in jeopardy. "I'll get them back." I had promised, rubbing her cheek. "However, I have a plan. And I know you'll stop me if I tell you, but I need you to trust me."
