The Doctor tried to teach Seven about Dating after she was caught...studying B'Elanna and Tom's dates.
After B'Elanna threatened to break her nose, she was told of by the Captain and the Doctor took it on himself to teach her how to Date. Talk about the blind leading the blind.
It was like watching a trainwreck in slowmotion.
I had to step in. Turns out she had already planned to ask me 'as I was a suitable candidate'. After a quick look at the restaurant on the holodeck the Doctor had planned as a suitable location I tossed it out the airlock.
A picnic on some planet with big moons worked better I think. Or at least I hoped she enjoyed herself. She accepted my suggestion about a second date at least.
I adjust the jacket as I walk through the corridor and rounding the corner...and my brain are suddenly in a desperate need of a reboot.
Seven was waiting outside the holodeck doors...with her hair down, in a leather miniskirt and a matching jacket.
"Seven..oh..wow. You look great." I managed to get out as I walk over.
She glance down on herself "Thank you. My research indicated that this would be a suitable attire for this activity?"
I nod "Uh...yeah. Its perfect." *gulp* "Want to head inside?" I ask and she nod before I start up the program and we walk into the AC/DC rock concert.
She like music and I thought some classic rock would fit well.
Turns out she liked it. The music was 'crude but enjoyable'.
It was a good evening.
A few weeks later I catch her in the hallway after the 'relativity' thing with Braxton trying to sabotage the ship.
"Hey, Seven. Mind if I ask a question?" and she stop and turn to me
"What is your question?" as I reach her
"When you where in the future...did you see any signs about my ideas catching on?"
She hesitate, looking at me for a long moment before shaking her head
"I'm sorry, I cant answer that. It could contaminate the timeline." and I sigh
"Was afraid of that. Not even a small hint?" and she shake her head
"No."
Sighing I nod before giving her a smile "Very well. Still on for tonight?" and she nod
"We are. It is my turn to pick activity." and I nod
"Shall I wear something different?" and she shake her head
"Your normal uniform is sufficient."
