Chapter 44 - Well at least you aren't a pokemon otherwise gladiatorial games would be daily and inescapable

I open my eyes, looking up at Sevens worried face "What happened?"

She help me up "They put you in a match against a hirogen. It was meant to be a nonlethal match."

Rubbing my head I scoot backward to put my back and head against the wall "I...dont remember it."

Shaking her head she move to sit next to me "They had to stun you. You...didn't react well to meeting a hirogen in a hostile environment."

Sighing I nod "He is dead, isnt he?" and she nod

"Yes."

Nodding and rest my head back against the wall "And Tuvok?"

"He have received medical attention as we both fought." she answer as I check my mechadendrites for damage. The two with manipulators I still got but the one with the tools have been removed. The manipulators are stained with blood.

Closing my eyes I use part of my suit to clean of the optical sensors.

During our shore leave Tuvok wanted to study a micro singularity. Seven was interested as well so I chose to come with them instead of convincing Seven to go do something else.

"Seven...we need to get out of here." I sigh and she nod

"...Agreed."

Unfortunately that was harder that it sounded. The walls of the area the fighters are held are thick, the doors locked and no controls on this side. The guards armed with stunners. My borg shielding could have stopped the stunners, but we would have still been overmanned.

Things didnt look good.

A day later, during Sevens next match the ship start to shudder from weapons fire and suddenly I am in contact with Serenity again. Voyager is close.

The door is locked so I am trapped in the holding quarters for the fighters, but that's a minor inconvenience.

I use Serenity as a relay to contact Voyager, telling them the situation. Turns out they already know. Which was kind of stupid of me, why else would they be attacking? Maybe that stun was harder than I first though.

Soon though I shimmer as the transporter pull me out of the cell and I end up in transporter room 2 together with Seven, Tuvok and a knocked out Etanian.

I simply sigh and let myself be led to sickbay. Looks like its time for another round with the councilor.
