Already having been warned by the Doctor about it Seven didnt try assimilating Voyagers logs so she never became a conspiracy nut. Luckily the graviton catapult still gave us a good jolt forward, if less than we wished.
Then we got in contact with Earth via the Pathfinder project. They had formed a micro wormhole by manipulating a neutron star passing close to the midas array. While it didnt affect me much personally, the moral of the rest of the crew went through the roof.
As for Fair Haven holodeck program, I thought it was a bit boring. Ok, the pub is kind of fun, but the rest? If they missed Earth so much, I can see the use for morale, but why pick a year 1900 irish village? Why not starfleet HQ or something?
I watch the screen on the bridge as seasons changes on the surface of the planet below. Voyager is caught like a fly in amber above it and until a couple of seconds ago we where bombarded by antimatter warheads.
The ship shudder beneath my feet as I hang on to the console as a pair of ships appear next to Voyager to pull her free.
After the astronaut reenter the timestream to explain what are happen I approach Janeway "Captain, have you considered the possibility to remain in proximity with the planet for another day or so. Not close enough to be caught, but still close enough that we detect their ships when they advance enough to solve their time problem? By then they would likely be advanced enough to get the ship home."
She nod "I have already considered that possibility. While it is possible, its also just as likely they will blow Voyager out of space. We did cause untold destruction on their planet for thousands of years. Tom, lay in a course for the Alpha Quadrant. Warp 9."
A couple of weeks later we ran into the Kilmarian. They fell in love with the Doctors singing, they never encountered the concept of music before.
While a advanced civilization, they are such a boring species. No, really, they make the Vulcans look like party animals. Well, until the discovered music at least.
The Doctor wanted to stay with them and explore his potential as a singer. I might have been the only person on Voyager that supported that fully even if the Captain allowed him to chose.
The Doctor is a sapient being. While he is our only source of advanced medical knowledge and currently my only path to upgrades, keeping him enslaved in sickbay is wrong. He should be allowed to chose.
Sadly for the Doctor(but lucky for us), the Kilmarians are as fickle as a teenage girl. Now that they had discovered music, they started to create their own and lost interest in the Doctor. Luckily it happened before Voyager left.
And their 'music' sounded like a bunch of baboons let lose in a piano.
Then there was the memorial. A signal transmitted on a abandoned planet that mindfucked memories of a massacre into the memories of passing ships.
I voted we nuke the fucking thing from orbit but the Captain want to repair it and set up a warning buoy to explain to passing ships what are happening.
Arguing with her was useless like normal, when she get something into her head its impossible to change her mind. I understand not wanting something as horrible as that massacre be forgotten, but whats wrong with building a fucking statue like everyone else?
AN// Next up...Tsunkatse.
