Nathan had watched the entire scene unfold from a short distance behind, his gaze shifting from Leon and Atlas to his lover, Bjorn, who was fuming beside him. They had trailed the couple in secret, their abilities allowing them to keep their presence hidden. Nathan had initially agreed to follow them because he was curious about what his brother-in-law was up to, and partly because he knew Bjorn would not rest easy otherwise.
Bjorn's clenched fists and scowling expression were clear signs of his growing irritation. Nathan could almost see the steam rising from his lover's head. "Calm down," Nathan whispered, though he knew it wouldn't do much to soothe Bjorn's agitation.
The situation took a sharp turn when Atlas leaned in and kissed Leon. The sight made Bjorn freeze in place, his blue eyes widening in disbelief. "That… that bastard," Bjorn muttered, his voice low and dangerous.
Nathan didn't wait for Bjorn to react further. Knowing how unpredictable Bjorn could be when it came to his little brother, Nathan quickly pulled him away from the scene, faking an angry outburst. "Let's go, Bjorn. I don't want to see this," he said sharply, turning on his heel and dragging his stunned lover along. It was the only way he could think of to prevent a disaster.
Bjorn followed reluctantly, his anger giving way to guilt as he saw Nathan's apparent displeasure. "Nathan, I—"
"Save it," Nathan interrupted, keeping his expression stern to maintain the ruse. "We'll talk about this later."
