Akira's curiosity about Kaire grew. She couldn't shake off the feeling that their encounter was more than just a coincidence.
As the animal-themed performances concluded, Akira approached Yui. "Hey, do you know that guy, Kaire?"
Yui thought for a moment. "He's from Class 11. Rumors say he's an exceptional student, he's good at everything."
Akira's eyes narrowed. "That's him! The guy I collided with earlier."
Yui's curiosity piqued. "What happened earlier?"
Akira frowned. "He collided with me, but what really bothered me was that he didn't even help me up or apologize."
Yui raised an eyebrow. "That's weird. Maybe he's just shy or something."
Akira shook her head. "No, it was more than that. He seemed... indifferent."
Yui added, "I don't know much about him, but he's a new student in Class 11. Rumors say he doesn't talk much."
Yui left for the performance results, and Akira stared at Kaire. Akira slipped a piece of paper to Kaire with a whispered message: "Meet me at the school terrace. I saw your purple eyes."
After reading this, Kaire was surprised and didn't wait for the results of his pet's performance. He immediately went to the terrace and waited.
Akira arrived, and Kaire said, "What did you see in my eyes was just purple lenses."
"Just lenses, right?" Akira replied, eyeing him suspiciously.
Kaire hesitated. "Yes... just lenses."
Akira pressed, "Then why rush to the terrace to tell me it's just lenses?"
Kaire's eyes locked onto hers. "So, what do you want to know more about my lenses?"
"Tell me about your eyes," Akira said, her voice firm. "Why did they change color when our eyes met during my performance?"
Akira grabbed Kaire's hand, and to their surprise, both of their eyes turned purple and green.
Kaire's voice trembled, "What are you doing? Why are you grabbing my hand? Why did your eyes turn green?"
