As Akira walked through the front door, thoughts of Carers and Takers swirled in her mind. That night shadows words echoed: "Taker.. but Carer." Determined to uncover the truth, she headed to her father's library.
Akira returned "Ancient Animals Carer" to its shelf and searched for more clues. Her fingers scanned the spines, stopping at "Mythic Guardians" and "Spirit Keepers." Just as she was about to give up, "Elementals Carer" caught her eye.
The door creaked open, and her mother's voice interrupted. "Akira, we're home. How was your day?"
"Fine, Mom. Just researching animals," Akira replied, hiding the book.
Her mother smiled. "Come down, I brought dinner from the restaurant."
Akira hid "Elementals Carer" in her room and joined her family.
At dinner, her father asked, "How's your annual dance practice? Did you get selected?"
"Yes, I did," Akira replied,
"Akira, congratulations on getting selected for the annual dance program!" her father exclaimed.
"Thanks, Dad," Akira replied, trying to sound enthusiastic. "Yui and her cat also made it in for the animal-themed segment."
The family chatted about mundane things, but Akira's mind wandered. As soon as she could, she excused herself after dinner and retreated to her room, locking the door.
Alone, Akira opened "Elemental Carer" and began reading:
"Elemental Carers possess the rare ability to sense the elements in harmony with nature, aiding animals and the environment. This ancient power is held by select few, including Saint Albeit, the legendary Carer who communicates with all animals."
Akira's thoughts drifted to "Ancient Animals Carer," the book.... She hadn't finished reading it, but the fantasy world was captivating.
"Saint Albeit... the only Carer who can talk to every animal," Akira whispered, intrigued.
As she delved deeper into "Elemental Carer," Akira discovered:
- Carers are guardians of a balance between animals and nature's.
- Elemental Carers can harness earth, air, water, and fire elements, space element, light and darkness.
- Saint Albeit's was the first legendary carer who could talk to every animals and the spirit of nature.
Akira's eyes widened. Was she one reincarnation of Saint albeits? But he's a boy ufff...
