I didn't know what to write and I was inspired by another novel I read on MTL. Although at first they may seem similar, as time goes by the differences will become more noticeable. I will try to present this story with good grammar so that you can enjoy it and continue supporting me. ptt: English is not my native language.

Chapter 1 - "Chapter 1: Appear in the Eryndor ahead of schedule."

On a hot summer day, in a rented house.

"Boom!"

"Damn it!"

There was a sound of heavy objects crashing, accompanied by another noise...

Su Bai stared at the gaming helmet he had just received. Who would have thought it would slip from his hands so easily?

He quickly checked the helmet that had fallen to the floor to see if there was any damage.

This is simply amazing!

The helmet is expensive: it cost him fifty thousand yuan!

Moreover, if it breaks, he won't be able to keep up with the launch of "Eryndor: The Shattered Connection" in half a day!

"Eryndor: The Shattered Connection"

In 2077, the first online virtual reality game!

It was officially released by the United Nations six months ago and is known as humanity's second world.

What a masterpiece this will be, one that will change the fate of humanity!

It is being promoted worldwide, and the excitement is fierce!

At this moment, no one knows what is about to happen...

...

"Eh... Fortunately, I don't see any damage..."

"It's risky... I'm dead scared..."

After a few glances, Su Bai let out a sigh of relief and wiped the nonexistent cold sweat from his forehead.

His intention was to make money with this game in the future; he had quit his job and only had a few yuan left in his savings...

Su Bai put on the helmet and said, "Open the connection!"

Although it wasn't time to open the server yet, he could create his character first.

"Beep..."

After recognizing Su Bai's voice, the inside of the helmet lit up, and after two beeps, a voice said, "The nervous system is connecting..."

"The nervous system is connecting... to... crack..."

"Crack... crack..."

Hearing that sound, Su Bai's face turned almost green.

It should have connected very quickly, taking no more than 3 seconds, and there shouldn't have been any strange "clicking" noises...

Could it be bad luck?

Did it break when he dropped it?

"Crack... the connection is successful!"

"Welcome to... Eryndor: The Shattered Connection!"

Fortunately, after clicking for half a minute, the connection was finally successful!

Once the ethereal voice faded away, Su Bai felt disoriented.

Then he found himself in an empty world.

Everything was white, and besides him, there was only an elf with four wings on its back.

Uh... this isn't right...

There was something even stranger.

Su Bai looked at his arm suspiciously, and on his wrist, there was a very obvious and bright progress bar.

The reading on the bar was still complete, showing 100%.

What the hell?

What is this setup?

What purpose does it serve?

Not understanding, Su Bai asked, "Little elf, what is the progress bar on my arm?"

The elf's eyes lit up as it scanned Su Bai.

Soon, the elf said, "Hello, dear player, I did not find the progress bar you mentioned."

Really?

Su Bai raised his hand and showed the progress bar to the elf: "Here? Can't you see it?"

The elf looked again and then firmly stated, "I really can't see it."

After saying this, the elf politely added, "Dear player, there are still 680 minutes and 57 seconds until the server opens."

"You can create a character now. Would you like to start creating it?"

Su Bai: "..."

Rubbing the back of his neck, Su Bai wondered if the blow to the helmet had caused the error...

Well, it shouldn't be a big problem... right?

"Alright, let's start creating the character," Su Bai said.

Unable to see what information the progress bar had or what it did, Su Bai began creating a character.

"Okay, please name your character. No less than one character and no more than ten characters," ordered the elf.

"Well, I'll call it Long White Hair like Night... It's a bit long, so I'd better call it White Night," thought Su Bai.

"There is no test with the same name; it can be used and the name is complete. Now, choose your basic profession," said the elf.

Then a series of professions followed.

Warrior, mage!

At the beginning of the game, only these two basic professions exist, which can be described as swords and magic.

After the player reaches level 10, other professions will appear in the first turn.

"Warrior!"

Su Bai declared.

A real man should wield a sword and jump into battle!

"Okay, we will scan your physical attributes," said the elf, and then emitted a light to scan Su Bai's body.

The scan didn't take long to complete. "The scan is complete, and the initial template for your character is being generated based on your physical condition."

"Generated!"

"Character created!"

After the elf finished speaking, it swirled, and an interface appeared in front of Su Bai.

Character Template:

ID: White Night

Level: LV1

Occupation: Warrior Apprentice

Health: 50 / Energy: 40

Strength: 9 / Physique: 8

Damage: Physical Attack 18

Defense: Physical Defense 8 / Magical Defense 4

Skills:

[ Explore ]

Level: LV1

Cooldown: 1 second

Cost: None

Description: Explores the attributes of monsters, NPCs, and objects that are not 5 levels higher than your own level. General skills are for all occupations and cannot be improved.

[ Constant Strike ]

Level: LV1 (0/100)

Cooldown: 5 seconds

Cost: 10 Energy

Description: The warrior's initial skill; it grants the weapon the power to deliver a powerful blow! It can be improved.

The setting of this game is quite interesting.

When you choose the warrior profession, you lose attributes related to magic, magical attack, intelligence, and spirit.

The initial character template is really generated based on the player's physical condition.

This is quite strange.

Players with better physical condition obviously start at a slightly higher level in the early stages.

...

After the character creation, some additional settings were finalized, such as pain sensitivity, leaving Su Bai with nothing more to do.

He didn't give up; he just wandered around that empty space for a while.

Looking at the progress bar on his wrist, Su Bai extended his hand and touched it.

Then, the progress bar vibrated and shone, and finally, a window appeared.

It displayed:

"Enough energy to create errors."

"Bugs?"

Su Bai was shocked!

Does this progress bar allow you to create errors?

Is it really that powerful?

Su Bai scratched his neck, feeling a bit moved.

"How do I do it? Is it really okay?"

Su Bai thought in his mind and then tentatively focused on entering the game.

Then, immediately, a hole appeared under his feet.

"Wow~"

"Damn it!"

Su Bai fell directly, causing him to panic again.

It was dark, and after about seven or eight seconds, Su Bai saw a circle of white light and fell through it.

"Damn it!"

Su Bai screamed again.

After passing through the opening, he found himself above a small village.

"Damn it!"

Three seconds later, Su Bai landed dramatically, and his health was completely depleted.

Fortunately, the pain Su Bai felt was only 5%.

After 5 seconds, Su Bai resurrected next to a huge crystal.

As he stood up, Su Bai looked around in amazement.

The air was fresh, there was a faint fragrance of flowers, and he could hear the singing of birds and the buzzing of cicadas.

The houses looked the same... he could hear the sound of hammering, and children were running and laughing.

A paradise!

"Ding! Congratulations on being the first player to enter the world of 'Eryndor: The Shattered Connection.' Here's a gift package that has been sent to your backpack. You can check it yourself."

The peaceful scenes surrounding him, combined with the system messages resonating in his ears, made Su Bai realize that he had truly entered the game.

All other players would enter the game half a day later, but he had entered more than eleven hours ahead of schedule!
