Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Revealing the gift package

"Unexpectedly, it can actually create bugs!"

Su Bai raised his wrist in shock and found that the progress bar on his wrist had returned to zero and was slowly increasing.

At this rate, it may take several hours before the next creation can be made.

Putting down his hands, Su Bai opened his backpack.

And the backpack was divided into 10 rows and 5 columns, giving a total of 50 grids.

Only the first grid had something in it, which was a festive red gift bag.

Su Bai thought for a moment, then opened the gift package.

Several items jumped out.

First of all, there were 100 silver coins!

This is equivalent to one gold coin or ten thousand copper coins!

He could use them to buy health potions and mana potions, which would help Su Bai survive better and comfortably spawn monsters in the early stages of the game.

Then, there was a silver sword that appeared to be quite impressive.

Next to it was a bottle of crystal red potion.

Lastly, there was a title.

Su Bai took out the sword and examined it carefully.

The sword was four feet three inches long, with a smooth and shiny blade featuring fine cloud patterns and a silver sheen.

When he held it, the sword seemed to pulse, alternating between bright and dark.

As he held it, the blade gradually became cold, and a faint white mist emanated from it.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, the craftsmanship is of very high quality! This must be a fantastic item!"

Su Bai touched the long sword with satisfaction and checked its information.

[Celestial Cloud Sword]

Grade: LV1

Quality: Silver

Category: Weapon

Moisture: 7/100

Attribute: Strength +12 / Intelligence +3

Damage: Physical Attack +35 / Magic Attack +8

Special Attribute: Water Attribute Enhancement +7

Special Bonus: Water Attribute Attack

Special Damage: When attacking, adds 7% water attribute damage

Affix: Rumor has it that this sword was once a cloud in the God Realm. It fell into the mortal world and was forged by a master.

[Note: This weapon will increase with the player's level, up to LV10.]

"What a fierce attribute!"

Su Bai exclaimed and clicked on the details of the weapon skill for the Celestial Cloud Sword.

[Mystical frozen cloud]

Grade: LV1

Cooldown: 60 seconds

Consumption: None

Attribute: Increases weapon damage by 10% for 10 seconds.

Details: This ability channels the ethereal essence of clouds, allowing the user to harness their power for a short burst of enhanced damage. When activated, the sword emits a bright light and the air around it fills with mist. This ability not only amplifies the weapon's attack power, but also imbues it with a mystical aura that can confuse enemies, momentarily reducing their ability to react.

Note: This is a weapon skill and cannot be upgraded.

[Endless Icy Cloud]

Grade: LV1

Cooldown: 0 seconds

Consumption: 10 water vapor/second

Attributes: When attacking, it will splash icy water vapor, slowing the enemy's movement speed, attack speed, and casting speed by 20%.

Details: The Cloud Sword will continuously accumulate moisture. When moisture exists, this skill can be activated at will.

Note: This is a weapon skill and cannot be upgraded.

Additional Notes: These skills complement each other well, encouraging players to be strategic in their combat style. Using "Mystical Frost Cloud" to deal significant damage, followed by "Infinite Frost Cloud" to control the battlefield, can create powerful combos that maximize the potential of the Heavenly Cloud Sword.

What a high-quality item!

Such luxurious attributes!

The physical attack is simply explosive!

Not to mention the two amazing equipment skills!

And this is actually a weapon that can grow!

"It's really a silver weapon! Even if it can only grow to level 10, this is still a silver weapon; it probably won't be a problem for me to use it at level 20!" Su Bai touched the sword and exclaimed.

Silver items are very rare! They are incredibly powerful!

In terms of game equipment classification, the official categorization revealed so far includes: ordinary, sophisticated, excellent, rare, silver, gold, and perfect.

The higher categories are still unclear and likely won't be revealed until the version is updated.

The difficulty of obtaining silver equipment is extremely high!

Generally, only silver-level bosses have a certain chance to drop silver items.

But the drop rate...

Not to mention silver, the drop rates for rare items and above are simply abysmal!

Shaking his head, Su Bai didn't want to dwell on that and happily held the sword in his hand.

He then looked at the bottle of potion in his backpack and checked its information.

[Vital Essence Elixir]

Grade: LV10

Quality: Rare

Category: Consumables

Attributes: Strength +10 / Physique +10 / Intelligence +10 / Spirit +10

Description: After consumption, the character's attributes are significantly enhanced.

Another very strong item!

It directly adds 40 points to four attributes!

Generally speaking, items with four-dimensions are rare and precious.

These 40 attributes can usually only be obtained by players at level 8.

Unfortunately, it requires level 10 to use, so Su Bai would have to set it aside for now.

The last item he obtained was a title.

[The Fastest Man in the World]

Seeing the title, Su Bai couldn't help but smile: "What kind of ridiculous name is that? I'd rather die in the mouth of a monster than equip this title."

[The Fastest Man in the World]

Affix: Who can be faster than me? Huh? Who else?

"Ahem, this sounds promising!"

After reading it, Su Bai didn't say much and slapped the title onto himself.

A title animation suddenly appeared above his head, depicting a super-fast figure.

Su Bai's expression remained unchanged as he quickly hid the title animation.

Once all this was settled, Su Bai excitedly opened his character panel to check his current attributes.

ID: White Night

Grade: LV1

Occupation: Trainee Warrior

Life: 24 / Energy: 40

Strength: 36 / Physique: 8

"The three new speed stats (movement, attack and throw) are not displayed on the panel; it is probably a hidden attribute..."

Su Bai stroked his chin and enjoyed his progress for a moment before turning off the panel and wandering around Novice Village.

Entering the game does not automatically trigger quests; players must actively seek out quests.

After taking a few steps, Su Bai noticed an elderly woman with a sorrowful expression.

The name [Hu Ping·Novice Village Chief] floated above her head.

Su Bai's spirit lifted; the NPC's melancholic expression practically screamed, "I have a quest! Come here!"

"Village chief, what can I do to help?" Su Bai asked as he approached her.

He wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that the village chief seemed momentarily stunned when she saw him.

Of course, the village chief quickly responded eagerly, "Warrior, I need you to collect something for me. Would you be willing to help?"

After she finished speaking, a quest information box appeared in front of Su Bai.

[Collect Coral Snake Gallbladder]

Difficulty: F

Requirements: Collect 10 Coral Snake Gallbladders

Progress: 0/10

Rewards: Experience *200, Silver Coins *1, Snakeskin Armor Top *1

(Accept/Reject)

Needless to say!

Su Bai chose to accept it immediately, and the village chief smiled, thanking him several times.

The difficulty of the tasks is classified as: SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F.

F-level tasks are not difficult.

After bidding farewell to the village chief, Su Bai continued to explore, wanting to see if he could take on another quest.

He walked over to a blacksmith's shop, where a sturdy man, sweating profusely, was hammering away at an iron block.

"Uncle Blacksmith, what can I do for you?" Su Bai greeted him.

The blacksmith paused for a moment, taken aback when he saw Su Bai.
