Harry was overjoyed to see his father recovering, but the butler reminded him, "Sir, I think we should have our professional doctor take a look at you, don't you?"
Norman waved his hand and nodded, "Yes, that's essential."
The butler called the family doctor. Before long, the doctors and nurses arrived. Seeing that Norman looked quite healthy, they couldn't help but exclaim, "Mr. Norman, your health… has your research succeeded?"
"Yes, Doctor, but I need your expertise to examine my body," Norman stated with an authoritative tone.
"Of course."
The doctors got to work and were busy for over an hour before stopping to report, "Mr. Norman, from a medical perspective, your body is in remarkable condition, comparable to a man in his twenties. However, whether the genetic issues have been fully resolved is not within my expertise…"
Norman waved his hand, "You don't need to worry about that; my company has plenty of scientists who specialize in such matters."
He glanced at Ye Hai, then said, "You all can leave. Butler, please call the lawyer!"
"Understood, sir!"
After everyone exited, it wasn't long before the lawyer arrived.
Upon seeing Norman, the lawyer said, "Mr. Norman, congratulations on your recovery!"
Norman chuckled, "I owe it all to Dr. Ye!"
The lawyer turned his gaze to Ye Hai and complimented, "So this is Dr. Ye? Unbelievable! Dr. Ye, you look so young!"
Ye Hai merely smiled faintly, and Norman added, "Yes, he's a very talented young man with great insight and creativity in biology. I can confidently say he will become one of the greatest scientists of this century."
Ye Hai smiled and responded, "Chairman, you flatter me. Let's get started!"
"Looks like you can't wait!" Norman chuckled and waved at the lawyer.
The lawyer took out the share transfer document he had already prepared. Ye Hai quickly went through it and after just a few seconds, the lawyer kindly cautioned, "Dr. Ye, this concerns your assets, so I advise you to read it thoroughly and consider it carefully…"
Ye Hai smiled, "I've already read it carefully."
"You've finished reading it?" Both the lawyer and Norman looked at Ye Hai as if he were a monster.
Ye Hai nodded, "My cognitive abilities are much faster than most. I can finish a book containing hundreds of thousands of words in just a few minutes. This isn't difficult for me. Mr. Norman, it's this level of efficiency that allowed me to complete your genetic serum in just three days. Given my abilities, you should be grateful that Osborn Industries has a shareholder like me. Now, please bring out the contract with the best terms!"
The lawyer was utterly shocked and glanced at Norman, who had indeed asked him to draft several different contracts with varying terms.
Norman stared at Ye Hai for a moment before finally smiling, "Alright, Dr. Ye, you've astonished me once again!"
The lawyer produced another contract, and Ye Hai quickly reviewed it, pleased he said, "This is the contract I am willing to accept. I assume the other shareholders have agreed?"
"Of course, they've never disagreed with me in anything I do." Norman's tone was filled with arrogance and confidence, "Even when I was a barely alive chairman, I was still the supreme ruler of the Osborn empire."
This was Norman demonstrating his authority and subtly hinting to Ye Hai that he shouldn't get too cocky just because he was now a shareholder; he still needed to heed Norman's directives.
Ye Hai didn't take his show of power seriously; to him, it felt like a wild dog barking at a tiger—how could the tiger be afraid, even if the dog was wealthy?
"In that case, I'll sign!" Ye Hai shrugged.
"Shouldn't we have a signing ceremony? It ought to be more formal, right?" the lawyer suggested.
Ye Hai shook his head, "I prefer to keep a low profile. I'm a scientist and don't like ostentation; such gimmicks are a total waste of my time."
A smile spread across Norman's face; he favored scientists who focused solely on research and ignored social nuances since such individuals typically showed little interest in management and business. This meant Ye Hai wouldn't try to usurp power from him in the future.
He nodded, "Then let's do as Dr. Ye suggests!"
After Ye Hai signed the contract, the remaining procedures would be handled by Norman's professional lawyer. Ye Hai trusted that Norman wouldn't play any tricks since he was willing to relinquish his shares and wouldn't risk tarnishing his credibility at this critical moment.
After everything was completed, he walked out of Norman's bedroom into the living room, patted Harry on the shoulder, and said, "Harry Osborn, you're my little brother now. Call me 'big brother' so I can hear it!"
"Big brother?" Harry replied helplessly, "Are you trying to bind us like that? We Americans don't do such things!"
"Do you want to call me BOSS?" Ye Hai laughed.
"Dr. Ye, I'd like to join your laboratory. You're amazing! Can I learn from you, Dr. Ye?" Harry looked at Ye Hai with fervent eyes, filled with hope.
