The rest of the day passed slowly, Wesley's mind consumed by thoughts of the mysterious message. Who was behind it, and what did they want with him?
As the clock ticked closer to 5 pm, Wesley's excitement grew. He was ready for whatever was coming his way.
At 4:55 pm, Wesley stood up, his eyes scanning the room one last time. He was ready.
He walked out of his office, his strides confident and purposeful. He was going to find out who was behind that message, and what they wanted with him.
The parking garage was dimly lit, the only sound the echo of Wesley's footsteps off the concrete walls. He walked to the designated spot, his eyes scanning the area.
