Wesley's voice was low and husky as he spoke to Charlotte, his words sending a shiver down her spine. "Get dressed," he said, his eyes gleaming with an intensity that made Charlotte's heart skip a beat. "We're going out."
Charlotte's mind was racing as she tried to process what was happening. Wesley had been avoiding her for weeks, and now he was suddenly taking her out? She didn't know what to make of it.
As she got dressed, Charlotte couldn't help but wonder where they were going. She soon found out as Wesley led her to the limousine waiting outside.
"Where are we going?" Charlotte asked, trying to sound calm despite the butterflies in her stomach.
Wesley's smile was enigmatic. "You'll see," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement.
As they drove through the city, Charlotte's anxiety grew. She had no idea what Wesley had planned, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
