Craig barges into the door where Teddy supposedly was behind.
But as Craig bursts through the already damaged door, he is not met with a young shy boy, but instead a freakishly large 7 feet tall, frail but terrifyingly buff shadow stature, holding a dagger, which was slowly digging into the eye of the innocent unsuspecting Teddy.
"TEDDY!"
screams Craig, before dashing towards the shadow stature with no hesitation.
The floor breaks beneath Craig, as he goes full throttle towards the shadow.
Before he could even blink though, the slowching 7 feet tall shadow, suited with small armour, leaps Infront of the air-born Craig, before plumiting him towards the bathrooms sink.
"GAH!"
screams Craig.
"Dammit!"
All of a sudden, as Craig crashes into the now broken sink, his face turns pale, and his usual sharp eyes turn soft for a moment, before the ground bellow him starts to crack, as his face fills with various bloody veins, followed with a slight grin, as the whole atmosphere suddenly changes around them.
It feels like the whole world had suddenly fell underwater, and is being drowned by a never endless void of hatred.
"We worked so hard on making this bathroom look new, and you have the audacity to try and spread the blood of mere mortals on it?"
"I hope you don't bleed red, as it's an ugly colour, because I'm about to paint this white canvas in your blood!"
Shouts Craig, his head twisting slightly, as his eyes almost pop out from the veins covering his entire face, his teeth screeching from the pure resistance of hate he is translating to his cheeks, resulting in a bloodcurdling smile, followed with blood, drooling from his mouth from pure anger.
"HOW DARE YOU TRY AND KILL MY FAMILY!"
shouts Craig, before leaping forwards towards the shadow creature, this time creating a shockwave beneath him, unlike before, he is serious now.
His usual regular human hands, have now turned into the shape of an adult lion, trying to secure it's place as alpha, his usual nails now closely resemble a sharp tigers claws.
As Craig begins to rush forward towards the shadow creature, it proceeds to try and deflect Craig's attack with the same kicking movement as before, but only this time Craig predicts it, and slices it's leg clean off with his mishapen, almost non-human nails.
The shadow creature seems to stay unfazed by this though, and proceeds to block Craig's next slash with it's shadow-like dagger.
As Craig's nails seem to break when faced with the shadows dagger, he quicky jumps back, tumbling in the process, but quicky regaining his posture.
He then proceeds to wipe of the blood off his chin.
"What the hell are you!?"
Asks Craig, confused, but also dazed.
"Are you what started the fire?"
Craig is met with complete silence from the creature.
But although silent the creatures moves are loud, as it once again rushes Craig.
In a flash, the leg of the monster re-grows itself, resulting in a painful, unpredictable kick towards Craig, which sent him flying upwards.
Which was then followed behind another unpredictable kick towards Craig, sending him flying towards the brand-new bathroom wall.
Tiles beging to fall off, as Craig falls down to his knees, badly injured from all the powerful kicks from the mysterious shadow monster.
"I've spent my last few years in this world building up mine and the others physical potential for one reason only.."
"So that if a weird monster was to ever lay foot on my family, or this safe house again, we would be able to kill it in a second."
"And while I may not be the smartest, when it comes to fights, I only have one rule.."
"One rule that will forever protect my family!"
"That I can't lose in a fight."
Before the semi-sentient monster could react, Craig dashes towards the injured Teddy, before grabbing him.
Craig has now presumed the state of a professional runner, his legs and hands in the position of a runner, about to start a race, with Teddy latched onto his back, it seems as if he's about to make a run for it.
The monster seems to notice this, and rapidly launches towards them, leaning in for another kick, which was read by Craig, as he manages to duck under it.
The monster, taken back by the sudden speed of Craig, proceeds to regain it's posture, before sprinting towards him, winding up for another kick.
But instead, this time Craig doesn't dodge, or weave, instead he faces the speeding kick, growing closer and closer towards him.
But, right before the kick lands, Craig strains his body, veins popping out at every corner, as is muscle's twist and turn the tides of fate themselves, as crack come from beneath his skin, as he leans his back further and further, until he is able to dodge the kick.
But instead of running away, Craig takes monster by suprise, as he somehow manages to regain his posture in under a second, and with his roughed up arm, he twists and turns the hardworking muscles inside his body, stretching them further and further towards the monster chest, before landing one last swipe towards the monsters chest.
All of a sudden, everything goes black for Craig, thinking he had passed out from the pressure he has put on his body for one final attack, he is shocked to see the roof of the bathroom, which had now been set up in flames.
He soon realises that he had not passed out, as the black he saw wasn't his eyelids, but the blood of the monster, which covers the entirety of the bathroom, including Craig, who was shielding Teddy behind him still.
Craig manages to regain his posture, from the dodging pose he was unconsciously still in.
"I did it."
"DID YOU SEE THAT TEDDY!"
"I DID IT!"
"I had to use my brain though, as I realised that he was only using his legs to attack me, which I thought was weird, but I soon realised that he wasn't attacking me with his dagger, as he was using it as self defence!"
"Which I found out when the palm of his dagger managed to hurt me, and while that was happening, I got a closer look, and realised that the edge of the dagger wasn't sharp at all!"
"Meaning the dagger was simply a bluff!"
Craig seems to have a big grin on his face, as he realises he is victorious!
But is soon reminded about the danger that lies ahead, as the injured Teddy, with his left eye still bleeding out, points to an object across the room.
And through the smoke, and rubble, it is revealed to be Teddy's teddy.
Craig is in shock, as he knows that the teddy is the only way to calm down Teddy, after there leaders passing.
As it magically appeared in his hands, that fatal day, which they believed there leader had done for them long ago.
Craig turns towards Teddy, who is balling out tears, from his eye, all the way down to his chin.
Teddy may have grown older, but due to trauma, he is still the same young boy in that one fatal day.
And with Craig realising this, his new task is to..
Save teddy..
Again!
