Silver sat on the floor watching back the day that Dago Malfoy had left the ranch to begin his journey. He watch with interest images of his father James Potter's face side by side with footage of Dago working to do something new and unexpected.
It was also something that had never been done before by anyone ever sense. Dago worked with his mate Bellatrix failing and trying again. He didn't give up until at last he started to do it and he was gone.
"Stop footage." Mara said.
Silver sighed in frustraction not looking at Mara. "I'm working." He said in tired voice.
"You've been running this image back several times. It's enough. I already have our people out looking for him. He has to be someone in this world. We'll find him. There is no need to keep looking at this footage." She said and attempted to touch his shoulder.
Silver got to his feet and walked away from her. He paced the floor. "Dad shouldn't have let him go." He said finally.
"What?" Mara said.
Emily was seated quickly reading journals by Dago and her father. She made no comment or noise to avoid getting into the heated discussion.
"I said he shouldn't have let him go. Ever sense Dago left we haven't done anything to match what Dad achieved with him here. It was a mistake letting him go." He said.
Mara sighed. "I know that. I told him that many times but your father was also a good friend. He wanted the best for Dago. So he gave him the original library to continue the research they had begun and push it to beyond what they could with some many eyes on him. We're going to find him." She said.
Silver moved away from her as he frowned in thought. "Dago has the original library! In the last day they saw each other face to face he said that Dago would always have a way back here. He gave it to him in the library. It was a link back." He said.
Mara nodded. "He never explained what the hell that link would be though. Only Dago would have known with the knowledge he imparted to Dago." She said.
Silver frowned at her. "What knowledge?" He asked.
"Your father gave Dago more then just the library and inventions he created. He also imparted to him the knowledge he had gained and the secret to creation magic. Dago was his first and only student to master the art of creation magic." She said with a sad smile.
"Creation magic? I've ready about it in the books and I could never understand it. No matter how many times dad attempted to explain it to me and teach me." Silver said sadly.
"You mastered the mist magic though. That is something not even Dago or anyone has done. Do you know what that means?" Mara said in a kind tone.
"It means little to me. I can't use the mist to find my father or free him from the prison he is in now." Silver said heatedly.
Mara sighed. "He didn't want you to go down this road. You don't know how much he suffered once he had to take the peacemaker into his hand. He only wanted to create a better world for you and your generation. He only wanted to make things and work here in the library with you. That was his joy. Teaching and creating new things." She said.
Silver shook his head and turned his attention to the whiteboard. He used his wand and wrote the word "Link" on the board.
The word started to glow. He frowned. "Library. Are you knowledgeable about the original library you originate from?" He said.
"Confirmed. Main library is currenting functioning well and in operation." The library said in a female voice.
Silver smiled. "Library do you have a link or communication with the library?" He asked.
"Confirmed."
Silver laughed at his idiocy at not bothering to ask the library the question before. "Can you establish a communication with the library in a two way window?" He asked.
"Negative. That level of communication has not possible at this time. Current library has not be outfitted with the necessary update to it's core system." The Library said.
"Damn it. That's another thing we've got to get on when dad gets back here. We need to update the system core here and establish communication with the primary library." Silver said.
Mara nodded. "Okay. Library is it possible to send a short message to the pirmary library to the operators of the library?" She asked.
"Confirmed. However Primary library is currently on route to next location. Message must be consist and authorized users can only send the message." The Library said.
Silver frowned. "Who are the authorized users?" He asked.
A short list appeared on the white board. James Potter and Mara Potter.
Mara sighed and relaxed. "Okay. I'm going to write down a message on the white board Library. I need you to send this message to the primary location as soon as possible." She said.
"Confirmed. A waiting message." The Library said calmly.
Mara quickly got out her wand and started writing down the message and then when she was done. Silver touched his wand to the link word and the message disappeared.
"Sending message now!" The library said.
There was a sudden noise as something large seem to fall down on the ranch. Mara looked at Silver. "Library!?"
"Message has been received. Primary library has returned to point of origin." The Library said and there seemed to be a bit of a light not in voice.
All three apparition down below to the Potter Ranch and hurried to Angus Potter's weapons' smith barn. Mara was the first one inside and stared at a large weapons utility locker by Angus' work desk. It was locker she hadn't thought to see ever again.
Mara hurried over to it and knocked on the door and tapped on the door and it opened to her. She held her breath as she opened the door letting it swing open and hurried inside to see Dago Malfoy the same as the day he had left the ranch years ago.
He hadn't changed at all in appearance or looked order. He was dressed in a black dress shirt and black slacks and put on his jacket and smiled at her. It was him but he looked totally un changed by time or any events. At first she couldn't believe it was him.
"Well Mara. You lovely as always." He said.
