Dago clapped his hands. "Come on Silver give me a real problem on your mind. I have t make the most of your time. My time is more a loose." He said.
Silver frowned and pointed at Dago's wand in his hand. "Can you teach me how to make a wand like your own? I got an idea how to make something of a security key and a special device I can use to keep a track on my dad." He said.
Dago's brows rose as he went over to the whiteboard. "Up with you Silver. It's time for us to create something special. First." He said and paused to hold out his metal wand. It flew out of his hand and into Silver's grasp.
"Analyze, reverse engineer and re make into something new." He said.
Silver frowned and studied the strange wand. "I don't want to deconstruct it. It's a marvel of engineering and spell craft. Who designed?" He said.
Dago shook his head. "No one. I created it with my mind and the tools your father taught me. Now you'll use the same tools. Right now." He said.
Silver shook his head. "I don't know. I'm not good with creation magic as you and Emily. I have talent for the mist. " He said.
Dago shook his head. "Look around you where are you?" He said.
Silver looked around. "The library my dad and you created." He said.
Dago shook his head. "A lot of people had a hand in the making of this place and it's copy. But, it's not just a library. It's a tool for you can use along with your use of the mist magic to craft things that will be for the betterment of all. Now. Stop wasting your time doubting yourself and push yourself and your magic to the limit." He said.
Silver nodded and then closed his eyes. A purple mist appeared around his feet. Dago waved Emily to her feet and put a fingering to his lips to telling her to be quiet. He moved quietly and held out his hand that was glowing now toward Silver and he motioned Emily to follow his example.
She nodded and did as he silently instructed her. Dago focused on Silver. "What do you see?" He asked.
Silver frowned. "I see nothing. Just the mist."
Dago smiled at the answer though. "It's fine. Feel the wand in your hand. Think of the kind tool or key you would use in the making for the device you need. Let your mind figure it out. No. Don't doubt yourself. Keep going." He said instructing Silver.
Emily's eyes widened as the images of mechanical gadgets and switches appeared in the air and circled around Silver's body.
"Emily. I want you to think of something an object of strength or something that reminds you of safety and comfort. Silver hold the image in your mind. Maintain your focus." Dago said.
Emily frowned but she closed her eyes and Dago held out his hand and his wand returned to his grasp. He aimed the wand above their heads. "Luminous. Creatio!" He said speaking the spell a warm glow surrendered both brother and sister until a white staff between. Their were wings on the head of the staff that flapped and sound of Hawk cried out from it.
Both Silver and Emily opened their eyes in surprise and stared at the staff between that glowed with white glow surrounded by the purple mist.
Dago walked over and studied the staff closely. He held out his hand and a journal appeared in his grasp. He handed it to Silver. "Take down the time and date of this event. Pay little attention to my involvement in it save for my instructions. You will be accredited for the invention along with your sister. You both make a good team. Staff stands at a hundred and eighty-two centimeters tall. It is made of a mystical wood." He said pausing to look at Silver and see him taking notes.
"How did you create this staff?" Emily asked Dago.
Dago shook his head. "No. You did the work and crafted this key I just helped guide you through the process. Remember the process Emily. Remember the words and actions taken. Alright now tell me what your going to use this key for. What is the purpose of it." He said.
Emily shook her head. "Either you or Silver would know. Not me."
Dago chuckled. "You and Silver thought of this device and object. You must give a purpose." He said.
Emily shook her head stating at him. "You are a strange one Dago Malfoy." She said.
Dago shrugged and his expression became very old and his gaze fixed on her face. "I am only what is needed and I like your father I find my purpose in the doing what I do best rather then questioning what I am or have become. You to will learn this over time. You and your brother. But!" He said and paused to smile at her and his face became once again youthful and handsome. "The future hasn't happened yet. So what would you like this staff to be?" He asked her.
Emily frowned at him quickly as she felt a chill and a strange feeling that Silver had been right to insist on her to stop digging into who or what Dago Malfoy was. "Like Silver said we need a key to safe guard Hawks Landing and be the means of finding and safe guarding the most valuable treasure of our family the library and my dad." She said.
Dago grimaced shaking his head. "Your father would disagree on you with that notion strongly. The library is safe that was meant to educate and be safe for the true treasures of Hawks Landing and the future." He said studying the staff.
Silver frowned at Dago's words. "That's not true. My father has dedicated his life to the pursuit of creation and helping the world. He is the prince of Enchanters. The real treasure of magi." He said.
Dago snorted shaking his head. "Wrong. Oh so wrong." He said and looked at Silver. "You and your sister are the treasures your father worked his hardest to protect and bring up properly. Everything he has done was always leading up to bring you up to the hope of future." He said smiling. "You doubt me?! When you see your father ask him who he has worked so hard and achieved so much for. Don't be surprised when he repeats my words back to you. Trust me. Your mother and I know your father very very well." He said and then he straightened up and turned around to face Angus as he appeared. "That was quicker then I expected from you Sir. Where is James?" Dago asked.
Angus had a hard look on his face. "In a place that should not exist at all and one I can reach. It's hopeless." He said.
Dago smiled slowly. "Where is James?" He repeated his question.
Angus shook his head. "He was taken and currently is housed in a place outside of this realm and time. A place called the secret dungeon of illusions. We won't be able to find him. He is outside of our reach. I have no idea where such a place exist if it does at all." He said in a hopeless voice.
Dago tapped his wand to his chin and walked over to the whiteboard. "Interesting very very interesting. Thank you Angus. I'll take it from here. Silver Emily. I will have to ask you both to travel with your grandfather now."
"I'm staying here." Mara said.
Dago nodded his head. "I need you here with me, Mara. We will have to work fast and quietly. Once they are gone we will have to work against time and seeing eyes." He said.
Silver walked up to Dago. "You know how to get to this place?! I want to go with you. Please." He said.
Dago shook his head. "No. Your father would do serious harm to me if I even dared to think to bring you or your sister with me. It's not time for you yet. But soon. No. You and your sister will go with your grandfather right now. When you return to the ranch your father will be here. You must remember what I told you to do regarding the sword and the back door it is important now." He said.
Silver stared at him and he sighed nodding his head. "Yes Sir. Will we see you again?" He asked.
Dago smiled nodding his head. "Oh you will see me again Silver. We're connected. We are all connected. Now go." He said.
"Dago. If you know where James is I'm coming with you" Angus said as Silver and Emily came to stand beside him.
"No. Leave now. Take them away right now and keep them safe while I get to work on the problem. James will return. I give you my word." He said.
Angus nodded. "That's all I need." He said and then he held out his arm. His grandchildren took a hold his arm they disappeared.
