"You are expelled Zack." The principal said his voice calm devoid of any emotion.
"What do you mean sir?" The brown haired youth infront of him said in disbelief hoping that this was just a joke but taking a look at the principal he knew deep down that it was not a joke.
"You heard me Zack dont make this harder then it has to be and leave Apex academy." Said the principal in the same voice but this time a bit more stern.
"Why just why atleast answer me why?" The brown haired youth better know as Zack Quinn asked trying not to sound desperate.
"You are simply to weak to be here you have mana but not enough to be a mage your body is not made for strength but speed but even if you became a assassin you would not have enough strength to make the killing blow at once and as assassin that could mean death." The principal said this while making sure he has eye contact with Zack to make sure that he got the point.
" I get it i will leave." Zack said although his voice might have been calm he was anything but calm but like the principal said it was all true, looking at his own reflection his brown hair a bit messy, his dark brown eyes looking back at him from the mirror Zack was not bad looking at all he was for his age average looking his slim figure showing, that he indeed did not have allot of strength and he was a bit underweight but not allot and he was standing at a 176 cm a bit above average height but only by a centimeter. But everything is true he was the weakest at Apex academy a academy build for strength and making the best adventures or mercenaries yet he was to weak.
Walking to his dorm he got his stuff even though it is mostly clothes and a picture of his parents even though his parents were long dead coming from a sickness that almost killed Zack as well but a passing healer saw Zack on the street looking for help even though he was sick so the healer healed him but nothing could be done for his parents." Sorry mom and dad i did not cut it here." His voice sad but he packed the rest and stepped out of his dorm and walked out the gates of the academy.
" Where to know damn i should have seen this coming oh well lets just get to town first." Apex academy is surrounded by deep Forrest so the students learned to kill monsters even though Zack was sure he could kill a few monsters but if there was a group he would be in big trouble so he increased his walking speed to a bit faster hoping to not walk in the night. Just as he was half way he heard a voice calling him and he stopped in his tracks looking around and seeing nothing.
" I knew i should not have trained that early in the day now i am hearing things." Taking one good look around just in case and was about to take another step and the same voice called out to him now sure that something is wrong he looked left but could not see anything but trees and bushes but he could have sworn that the voice came from there.
He walked closer to the left side and this time the Voice was louder only by a little bit it was louder. " Well i have nothing better to do and if i find monster i will just kill them for some money when i get in town." So Zack walked into the woods and the Voice was getting louder, so he was sure he was going the right way but something was strange where are the monsters he was sure he would have seen a monster or even a small animal but nothing, but he decided not to think to much about it and kept walking after a hour long walk through the woods and even passing a river he was sure that not allot a people or even students from the academy came here but then again he was deep in the woods now but still no monsters he did see a few animals but no monsters, although strange he could not think long about it because he was infront of a cave and the Voice was coming from the cave.
" Lovely i get to walk into a cave where i hope is not a bear sleeping or some monster." Grabbing a torch he has and planned to use it in case he had to walk in the night but now he was planning to walk through a cave after he lit the torch he walked in, his fears for there being s bear or monster in the cave was unneeded because there was no markings in the cave there was nothing.
After walking a bit longer he almost tripped because he was looking at the ceiling because there where gems in there but by looking at the ceiling he missed the stairs.
" Why the hell are there stairs here i almost rolled my ankle oh well who knows maybe this was a old base of someone." He carefully walked down the stairs hoping there was not a trap on one of the steps, he safely made it down and stood infront of a weird looking door. It was made of stone with different insect heads also made of stone on it Zack was a bit freaked out but just be the architecture not the insect heads he is not afraid of insects so he pushed the door open.
And what he was weird to say the least the room was lit up but there was no one it was also empty except for a stone statue of a woman but not a normal women this women had four arms, antennea and mandibels near her mouth. Zack was stunned for a moment until he realized that the voice us coming from the statue.
" So this is what i have been following weird for sure but how do i get you to stop saying my name." He walked closer to the statue and was looking around for a button or lever but there was nothing just this statue out of options he touched to statue and the statue crumbled under his touch wich suprised him and after the dust was gone so he could see he saw the women who he thought was a statue looking back at him with almost green glowing eyes.
" This is nice to move around after so long." The girl said moving her fout arms and her legs until she remember that Zack was there. " Oh hey where you the one who has awoken me." She looked Zack up and down while waiting for a answer but seeing he was not answering she asked again and walked closer.
" Yes i did sorry i was just suprised by you?" Unsure of what to say and hoped not the anger the girl he was very careful with his words.
" Alright then first of thanks for getting me free and secondly what's your name?" The girl stuck out one of her hands as a greeting.
" No problem and my name is Zack Quinn what is yours?" Zack calmed a bit after seeing the girl was not mad but instead greeting him he shook her hand.
" Right my name how rude i should have introduced myself first my name is Priya nice to meet you Zack." Priya said very happy but her smile did not last long before she got serious. " Tell my Zack how did you find me?"
Zack felt uneasy seeing her suddenly so serious but have his answer anyway hoping his voice did not sound nervous " well the statue you where in was calling me name and i followed it and came here." Hoping this was enough the please Priya and after hearing that Priya got very happy but now that Zack looked at her he was suprised that she was smaller then him sure there were times when people where smaller than him but in the academy he was one of the smallest even most girls where bigger than him so seeing someone Smaller then him was a bit surprising and her hair is brown but lighter then his own brown hair.
" You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that i finally found you." Zack was throw out of his thoughts when i he heard that she finally found him he tried to remember if they met before but they did not so what does she mean.
" Wait what do you mean by found me?" He asked and Priya was more than happy to answer.
" Before i was sealed i used my magic to bring someone worthy here by calling there name and that person is you." A very happy Priya answered and this left Zack with more questions but before he could asked she began talking again " you are wondering what i mean by sealed and looking for someone worthy right no need to answer it is written all over your face, but i was sealed by the previous Legion Commander because he wanted to start a family and did not want to be hunted anymore and you are worthy of becoming the next commander." She was all smiles when answering.
" What are you talking about what Legion there is just you?" He asked he had never heard of a legion when he was in the academy when it was about the history so the students knew what powerful enemy's there where or still are.
" The insect legion and its only my but if you accept then i can get the centipede faction of the legion started but if you dont accept well let's just say i will make sure you won't tell anyone." Priya answered with a bit of a sinester tone but that was not what suprised Zack he was suprised that she can make a single faction started but what was she going to do if he did not accept would she kill him or make him a mute well since this options where not to his liking he gave a answer that will turn his life upside down.
" I accept the become the next legion commander." He said to Priya wich she got all smiles at and walked closer to him until she was a arms length away from him.
" Good now i will make it official be warned this will hurt allot so dont die on me Zack." She said hopefully before Zack could ask what she means she grabbed his head with one of her hands and sent energy straight to zack's head and Zack screamed in pain and the last thing before his vision went black was * she did not lie damnit.* And he blacked out
Priya looked at his unconscious body and sat next to him waiting for him to wake up, and now at different places in the world some people felt a shock and where suprised that the insect legion was starting again.
" Oh man i have a killer headache." Those where to first words he said before he sat up and looked at Priya who was happy before getting up and helping Zack up as well.
" Good to see your allright commander." She said very happy before kneeling before him.
