"The centipedes found the swarm." Priya told Zack this was finally hopefully the last hurdle before getting another captain.
"Well then let's go that way." Zack told them girls Priya looked happy while Rachel was still a bit angry at the crowd girl understandable but never the less nodded at Zack.
As they began to walk the girls were talking to eachother in the hivemind making sure Zack could not listen in on their conversation.
'Do you think we should warn him about her personality at all?' Rachel asked Priya looking a bit unsure of their plan.
'Well we both want the same but also dont want the rejection so we use her to see what his reaction is unless you want to ask him.' Rachel blused hearing this from Priya of all people but quickly recovered from it.
'Alright i understand the point but are you sure he won't just have one instead of us all like your planning?' While the wasp brought up a fair concern Priya already thought about it.
'Oh i am sure of it i mean if he won't stop her advance that is.' Priya told Rachel this was a bit uneasy of having to wait and hope for something good but they had no choice.
"We are close." Priya told Zack wich also brought Rachel out of her own thoughts.
"She better be here or i am burning the next locust i see." Rachel just told them clearly still a bit annoyed about two of her wasps dying it was not like it would not happen but to have it happen when there is not allot of them that was the point.
"So should i send a energy wave or do we need to be closer?" Zack asked Priya.
"Lets get closer locusts dont attack humans most of the time anyway." She told Zack and he nodded at her.
As the trio walked closer to the swarm the louder it became it was clear that this was a big swarm.
'So if she is there she should come here to us correct?' Zack asked using the hivemind because it was to loud to talk normally without yelling.
'Correct so here goes to hoping that she is here'. Rachel told him also hoping that she was there.
As Zack sent out a energy wave the locust seemed to quiet down for just a moment or maybe that was just the whole of the forest being quiet for just a second before the noise started again.
The three had decided to wait as long as they did when they were at the giant hive they thought it would be better to just have just one waiting time unless a situation called for a different time.
And ten minutes passed without any movement from the swarm or inside the swarm for that matter.
"Come on are you kidding me." Rachel was the first to talk and also who seemed the must upset Zack was just annoyed at how this trip was for nothing but did remember that this was not a confirmed captain thing so they seemed to have found nothing.
"Well what are the chances that a captain broke the seal?" Zack asked the girls.
"Probably low and even if they did without a commander they dont have to power to register bugs into the legion because they have no connection to the commander." Priya told him while Rachel was looking at the swarm hoping that something would change.
"Well what are we going to do about the swarm?" Zack asked them he was aware that this was not their problem or something a captain could register.
"Well time to do what i said i would do." Rachel told them.
As she made a small campfire and very quickly was done and trying to get a fire going wich took a little bit but after the fire was burning the grabbed a stick in just put it in the fire and after tossed it at the swarm who did not Dodge and slowly went up on flames.
As Rachel was looking at this Zack noticed something weird.
"Now i might not be a locust expert but dont they usually avoid fire?" Zack asked the girls who took a good look again at the Flaming ball wich was a swarm of locusts
"Now that you mention it they should have dodged or atleast moved a little bit when i tossed that make shift torch." Rachel was the first of the girls to make a comment on it.
"You dont that she is in the ground around here right?" Zack asked but no one could really answer for sure.
"Well after all the locust burn we can try to dig around a bit." Priya told Zack who nodded and watched the fire.
After a few more minutes the last of the locust burned and Rachel quickly made sure that there won't be a forest fire.
Priya told her centipedes to dig around the area and thanks to the size of the centipedes these were not small holes.
And after a little while on of them struck gold and found a arm of a statue.
Now Priya told the centipedes to dig around it and slowly but surely a statue of a girl appeared
The girl had antennea on her head with two pair of wings on her back and her legs looked strong.
When you looked at the statue you could see the expression was of reluctance with a outstreched arm reaching for something or someone.
Zack wasted no time and jumped in the now big enough hole and touched the statue and just like before it crumbled and before the dust was gone he was tackled to the ground.
The thing that come to mind in his head was *The hell what just happened* if he could not see Priya he would have thought she missed the new captain and hit him.
When the dust settled he could clearly see the girl who was hugging him.
The girl had her dark brown hair half up half down and had black eyes the only thing showing that is was eyes was the eye white.
"Commander i missed you so much." Was the first thing the girl said.
'On second thought this is kinda entertaining to watch.' Rachel told Priya using the hivemind.
"I am sure you did but can you let me go so we can get out of this hole." Zack asked the girl who was still hugging him.
"Only if you do me a small favor." The girl told him.
"Sure can we get out of this hole?" Zack asked her.
"Only if you give me a kiss." The girl told him.
"Alright that's enough you have not even told him your name." Rachel told them girl and looked annoyed at the fact that they were still hugging while Priya looked like she was contemplating to just jump on and give Zack a huge aswell.
The girl who realized her mistake and quickly got up and out the hole while Zack also got out the hole and when he was out the girl bowed.
" My name is Hazel the locust captain." After she was done talking she held out her hand and Zack shook her hand and Hazel seemed to enjoy that a lot more than he thought she would.
