"Wait why are you kneeling?" Zack asked feeling confused because in his eyes it is just unneeded.
"Its to show my respect to the commander." Priya answered still feeling very happy about getting the legion started again as she stopped kneeling and stood up.
With that out the way Zack had a bigger question to ask her " so what exactly is the legion?" He asked Priya, as soon as she heard this she was very suprised " you agreed to something you dont know what it is?" She asked feeling very confused on why he would just not know.
"Yes i dont know why is that surprising?" He answered her and only made her more confused but instead of focusing on that she answered him " well since you are now the commander of the insect legion you can bring other insects into the legion or the captain of a faction would bring their faction insect in the legion so for me it would be centipedes but rest assured the centipedes will still listen to you because you are in a higher postion then me you could even give them a different order then what i ordered and they would listen to you." She answered him hoping it would make somethings clear for him.
"Wait how you made it sound like there are different legions?" Zack asked and she nodded before answering "there are indeed different legions out there like the feline Legion or the canine one, there are more but this is a quick explanation if you want to know all the legions i will tell you but the other legions are bassicly our enemies all legions will try to kill the commander because their Legion will get stronger or their commander will grow stronger." She answered looking very serious about it.
"But they dont know that the insect legion is active again right?" Zack asked he does not want to fight a whole army while he barely started out, Priya answered him but it was not what i wanted " they are very aware, everytime a Legion gets their commander or losses their commander the rest of the legion commanders will feel it but they dont know where we are so we will be fine for a while." That was not ideal for Zack but nothing he could do about.
"You also said something about captains and factions now i understand both the words but are there other captains and if so where are they?" He asked hoping to atleast make a more diverse legion for when they get found. Priya answered him " there are more yes but i dont know where they are we all got either sealed in a different place or fought the other legions and escaped but i dont know where they are." She had a somber tone and its not hard to guess why those are her friends and she has no idea how they are or where they even are.
Before Zack could talk Priya started talking " you should know that the insect legion is the most hunted down because of the quick reproductive system of the insects the others would rather deal with us rather sooner then later so i will say that finding the other captains and getting you stronger are the most important." Zack nodded understanding why.
But Zack still had a question "so do you think this is a good place to make home base" he asked Priya even though it would be found out it would be better than just wandering around and maybe get spotted by some scouts from another legion. Priya nodded at him even though she would very much like a bigger space eventuele this place will do for a while.
With the matter of where to setup a home base is over he asked Priya in how to get stronger and she had a intresting answer "well training your body will always help and since i have had a good look at your body, and seeing you are made for speed i will give you a training session for you to get faster but also for more strength to make you a perfect assassin and that will be handy because other legions want to kill you so if your faster they will have to work for it but there is also another way to get stronger that is with skills." Zack understood the whole thing but he had no idea how to get skills.
Lucky for him Priya told him how to get skills " there are four ways to get skills you can do a action over and over again, kill another legion commander, take a insect for inspiration and then use meditation and envision on how it will work with your body and the last way is the drink some of our blood but the skill you get us random and you can only get a skill that one of us has." With that out the way he just had about everything to get started he just wanted a bit more info on something else.
"What other captains are there?" He asked hoping to atleast make something in his mind for every captain for efficient time use.
Priya was happy to answer " there are multiple but i will just tell you their faction because they will like the formerly and fully introduction for themselves alright there is the wasp faction, locust faction, dragonfly faction, beetle faction, ant faction, Mantis faction and last but not least the mosquito faction those are all we have. Is what she answered. She kept the hivemind a secret just a bit longer till there was a second captain to fully show the capability of the hivemind.
Zack nodded and was happy to know that there is enough difference in the factions.
But before he could think longer Priya told him something else "before you start commanding a big army bassicly you should know that your emotions will influence the insects in the legion, especially the feeling of hate and anger if you have those emotions during a fight the insects will respond with more aggression but giving different orders will be harder so try to keep your anger at bay until you have enough time to properly adjust to commanding insects." She told him and Zack nodded understanding that he should not let his emotions could his judgement.
"Anyway i will get started on the centepide faction if you can just do the exercises i tell you to that would be the best thing because once you get stronger i want to look for another captain because we will need it." Priya told him so when i started the exercises Priya went outside to cave to look for some centepides and when she finally was out the cave and saw the night sky with the moon just above the trees indicating that in a few hours the sun will be up she felt a bit weird after seeing it maybe it was just because it has been long since she last saw the sky, but after snapping out of those thoughts she send a pulse of energy through the forest that will attract centipedes to her so she sat down and waited.
After a hour of waiting she went back in the cave with a group of centepides following her when so entered to room where Zack was exercisesing she saw him on the ground covered in sweat and panting but with a satisfied smile, he got up and looked at Priya before saying " i completed the exercises and i see your successful yourself to."Priya nodded before saying that he should do those exercises everyday until he can do them without getting tired he nodded in understanding.
"If you want there is a river nearby to take a quick bath." Priya told him, he went to the river and had a quick bath and came back.
" Good your back now i want you to watch what i do alright." Priya said to him and waved him over there he saw the centepides and when she put one of her hands above them and let out some sort of energy and the centepides glowed for a bit before he could ask what it was she answered him "what you just saw was me registering them to the legion and the next time something needs to be registered i want you to try it but that's not all, every Legion commander has a skill when they become a legion commanders it is for making the legion stronger and yours it the one to make the insects bigger so that we are on a even playing field with the rest of them otherwise we would not be a big threat to them.
"Now i want you to put your hand above the centepides and think of making them bigger and focus energy on your hand." Priya told him so he did what she asked and after a minute of focusing on it the centepides glowed again and became bigger almost just as big as a medium sized dog, Zack was suprised with how big the grew but Priya already expected it and smiled at seeing it.
"Good job especially for doing it in such a sort time." Priya complemented him for it and Zack was also suprised he did it in such a sort time,* at this rate he might get his first skill quickly* Priya thought and felt even better after thinking that because it was only a matter of time before they had to fight.
And just like that a few days passed with Zack training and Priya getting more centepides so that the centepides can reproduce quickly.
