The train spiraled into the woods and ricocheted off the ground multiple times. Delenor clung to her position on the roof of the coach throughout. The train skidded to a stop and swung her farther into the woods.
Delenor felt the cold snow crystals on her face as she regained herself.
Where am I,
Her vision blurred for a while then cleared.
The train…
She ran towards the train. Maurice climbed from the entrance for the train fell on its sides. He helped out the security officer that helped them earlier. He dropped from the train to meet Delenor. He held his waist, and shook his head.
"What?" Delenor asked.
"Just speechless." He replied.
Delenor glanced to the edge of the cliff and where some of the security officers looked at the doom they just escaped.
Maurice pulled his coat's sleeve back and tinkered with the communicator on his wrist, "hello this Commander Maurice, requesting package pickup, sending location now."
He turned back to Delenor, "So… the 'Family' huh."
Delenor grimaced then lowered her gaze. She pulled up her mask and headed for the cliff's edge. Maurice followed and placed his hand on her shoulder,
"No worries, I trust you," He said. "I think the rebellion needs more of what you did today."
The both of them got to the edge of the cliff and looked down. Maurice crouched,
"Men!"
Delenor spotted a transport heading in their direction. She adjusted her visor's zoom, "is that our transport?"
"Yup, I have to get you back to HQ, introduce you properly." He replied.
The transport arrived and Maurice ushered her in. Delenor hesitated, "what of the loot?"
"That's left for our guys to deal with. For you, we have important business to deal with," He urged her in.
"And the–"
"The security guys, yes we know how we deal with them. You know this is just grinding, the real deal is taking out Vodtak," he said and eyed her.
Delenor nodded and entered the transport. She made her way to the back and relaxed.
I didn't give up on finding her,
I just thought to rest a little,
You're no hero Delenor,
She shut her eyes and drifted off.

"Delenor," Maurice called.
Delenor sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"We're here."
Delenor and Maurice exited the transport to a bare land surface surrounded by frozen trees. The transport prepared to leave and Delenor narrowed her eyes.
"Where're they going?" She gestured to the transport.
"Well, they're heading back to join the others gathering our loot," he replied. "Come on," he beckoned to her.
She followed Maurice as he walked towards the woods. A circular opening slid open slowly. Delenor gasped.
"Wonder why your friends never found us?" He gestured to the opening. "That's–"
"Can you not call them my friends?" Delenor interrupted him.
"Oh sorry, your siblings or whatever, well we were hidden from them, so we've been working covertly." Maurice continued.
They walked on steps, down into the opening and remained silent for a while. Maurice tucked his hands in his pocket.
"So… you know we trust you, been stalking you long enough," he said as the tunnel got dark.
Can't be too careful, she thought. She activated the uv display. Maurice stopped and flicked a lever on the wall, dim lights lit the cave downward.
"Like I said, we trust you, but it'd help if we knew your story… you're the only one of those kids I've come across who doesn't have powe–"
Not now,
"Please can you not dive into that area?" she interrupted him.
"Oh sorry… touchy topic," he raised his hands in mock surrender.
"And what makes you think I don't have my powers?" She shot him a glare.
"Okay no touchy questions," he said as they approached the end of the tunnel. Delenor noted a blue light coming from a sharp bend to the right.
Maurice walked ahead of her, "I just hope we'd earn your trust for that bit of story."
They took the bend and were welcomed by the presence of a city. Delenor gasped.
"Welcome to the rebellion Delenor," Maurice said.
