When Zyran saw what Croviel was doing to his sister he felt even more Infuriated and struggled even harder to get off the ground. Those struggles halted as he heard a snapping noise that froze his actions. With his eyes wide open, he watched as his Sister, who now had her neck bent awkwardly, begin to fall lifelessly on the ground, her body making a sickening thud upon impact. Her shimmering blue eyes no longer carried their usual liveliness, instead they were now dim and lifeless. Even though she was no longer among the living, tears continued to stream down her eyes.
Zyran froze. He didn't scream nor did he yell anymore, he just... Froze. He lied there, on the cold rough concrete, staring at his sister's limp body. It was as if his mind was struggling to come into terms with what he was seeing, as if it was all a nightmare he would wake up to any second now but that didn't happen. He was still there, lying on the ground, while his sister lied dead a few steps from him. All of a sudden, bloodied tears began to stream down his eyes and with a hoarse voice he asked: Why?". A simple question that carried many meanings. ' First my parents and now my little sister. The only person I had left in this world'.
Croviel who thought the question was directed at him began to speak, while scratching the back of his head with a silly smile. "Well isn't that a shame. I might have forgotten to control my strength for a second there. This is truly a pity..."His tone carried no trace of pity as he bent down on his knees and started poking Alora's cheeks, which made her head move around. "It's always the pretty one's that are fragile... "His hand then moved to grab one of her breasts and began squeezing them through her dress. "A pity indeed". Croviel stopped his actions and looked towards Zyran, thinking that he might have one of his crazed reactions that amused him. Unfortunately, Zyran's expression was blank, with only his bloodied tears showing what he was currently feeling. "Your no fun—".
Before Croviel could continue any more, Zyran's lifeless gaze moved towards his eyes. And then he said, in the most serious tone: I'm going to kill you". This sentence coming from a normal human would have had Croviel bursting into laughter but, the way Zyran said it had something sinister about it. It didn't sound like a threat but more of a promise. Croviel suddenly felt shivers all over his spine,' What is this feeling? Is this fear? I'm I afraid of a human? Impossible! I am a powerful demon, how could 'I' feel fear towards a mere human... I need to kill this brat, I cannot let him live'.
Croviel stood up, his expression no longer playful. He stepped over Alora and walked towards Zyran. Upon reach, he loomed above him for a few seconds.
Zyran, who stopped paying attention to Croviel after saying his earlier words, went back to staring at his sister's body, completely ignoring the demon that towered above him, an action that further made Croviel infuriated and very uncomfortable.
Croviel bent down and then placed his claws on Zyran's back, directly above his heart. "You are the first human to ever make me feel an emotion I thought only one demon could make me feel and for that, I'm going to end you. So rejoice pig, as I send you towards your mate". He raised his hand and then quickly brought it down, easily tearing through Zyran's flesh and bones and reaching his heart before clutching it from within. Through the whole ordeal Zyran didn't show a hint of pain, as if he wasn't the one who had his back pierced and his heart at the mercy of a demon.
Croviel began to slowly put pressure on Zyran's heart, trying to get any sort of reaction but none was shown. ' What's wrong with him? Is this actually a human I'm dealing with?'. As Croviel was thinking, he suddenly felt his hand, that was deep within Zyran's chest, beginning to slowly burn. 'What the! This is getting dangerous'. Thought Croviel, stopping all his thoughts. He clenched his hand that held Zyran's heart, making the heart burst.
'Sigh'
Croviel suddenly found himself sighing, something he has never done in his hundred years of life. 'Human's are very annoying to deal with'. He then moved his gaze around and found Sofia who still stood where she was. "What do we have here? I almost forgot about you". He then stood up, no longer worried about Zyran and walked towards Sofia in slow and steady steps. His carefree smile returning to his face.
Unbeknown to Croviel, Zyran didn't immediately die from having his heart destroyed. He was still alive. His gaze that was focused on the lifeless Alora, slowly moved towards Croviel who was walking towards Sofia. Staring at the demons back, his lips began to move but no words came out and that was when everything went black...

'Dark'
'Cold'
'Quiet'
Opening my eyes again, I found myself in a dark place. 'Where I'm I?' I questioned myself as I moved my head around trying to see if there was anything else around me but, it was to dark to get a clear image. I couldn't even see my hands. 'What happened to me?' I tried to remember the last thing I did but my thoughts felt foggy. 'Why can't I remember anything?'. I thought to myself but received no answer and so I began to walk. I walked aimlessly without any sense of direction nor time. I don't know how long nor how far I've walked. It could have been days or maybe years or probably a couple of minutes, It was all just too confusing, this whole place just messed with my senses.
As I continued walking around aimlessly in the dark, I began to see a bright purple light shining in the distance. 'What is that?' I questioned myself but never stopped walking towards the purple light. As I got nearer, I noticed that the light was pulsating in a familiar rhythm, like a Heartbeat. I could feel it beckoning me to come closer, to embrace it's warmth and to become part of it. I found it hard to resist it's temptations and so I chose to embrace the feeling. I walked deeper into the purple light, as it began to embrace me in it's warmth.
That was when the fog that covered my memories began to clear, making me remember everything. I remembered who I was and that I have a sister— wait! Alora. Where's Alora?. I began moving uncomfortably in the light, trying to move out of it. But it held me in place as I found myself beginning to become calm again, only for my worry to turn into anger that washed over me like a tide. I feel so angry, so angry that I don't know what to do with myself, every fiber of my being is begging me to move and find that demon. To tear him apart and make him feel the pain his making me feel right now. But... Who I'm I kidding. I'm weak, so weak and f*cken pathetic that my little sister was murdered right Infront of me. I hate that demon but I hate myself more for being so damn useless.
"Boy!". A deep ancient voice resounded within the purple light. It sounded like an aged male in their 40s.
"What the!" Zyran was startled by the sudden voice that made him temporarily forget about his frustrations. "Who's there?". He looked around the purple light but it was too blindingly bright to see anything else, though there was one thing he noticed. He felt like he was being watched by a heavy gaze. A gaze that made him feel like he was carrying mountain's on his shoulders.
Zyran's question was followed by a silence that lasted for a few minutes, making him feel like he must have imagined the whole thing.
"Do you desire power?". The ancient voice ignored Zyran's question and asked it's own.
The question had Zyran thinking. 'This is too good to be true. Is a demon trying to mess with me? Why me though? What can it benefit from using a weakling like me?—". Zyran's thoughts were interrupted by the voice as it continued to speak.
"I can give it to you. All the power you need to make your enemies bend to your will. In exchange..." The voice stopped, as if trying to draw Zyran in.
"In exchange for what?". Zyran asked carefully.
"In exchange. Grant me control over your body".
"So that's what your after. My body huh, forget about it and go bother someone else". Zyran sat down on what he assumed to be a floor and crossed his legs. No longer interested in listening to the voice.
The owner of the voice became silent once more before speaking a few seconds later. "Don't you want to avenge your sister? I can provide you the power to do so".
Now the entity had Zyran's attention. As his expression changed to that of interest. "How do I know that you won't just steal my body? Asked Zyran. 'Of course I still want to make that bastard pay'. He thought to himself.
"You don't". The voice simply replied.
Zyran contemplated for a few seconds and then, raised his head up and looked into the purple light. "How do we do this?". He asked. 'Who cares if he steals my body... I'm dead anyway. As long as my sister's killer is dealt with, I don't mind losing my body'.
" It's a very simple process. All you have to do is to will it". The voice replied a little bit too hurriedly, a hint of urgency could even be detected in it's tone but Zyran was too lost in his thoughts of revenge to notice or maybe he did and just didn't care.
Zyran closed his eyes and tried to do what the voice said. Nothing happened at first, making him think that maybe he was doing something wrong when all of a sudden he felt something forcefully merging with him. He could feel himself slowly losing control of himself.
And just like before, everything began to darken again, as the purple light slowly disappeared. The darkness consumed Zyran, as he realised that this time he'd be gone for real. Even in his last moment's, his sister still remained in his mind.
'Alora...'
