Stepping out of the room, I was greeted by a long hallway that was painted white. Other than that, there was nothing else interesting about it. The weren't any portraits nor wall decorations, nothing. Just blank walls. It's as if no one actually lives here. After closing the door behind me, I found myself looking left and right, trying to figure out which way I'm supposed to go, since I couldn't even see the end of the hallway.
Not knowing which way to go, I decided to just wing it, so I chose right but just before i could actually go right, I felt a force compelling me to go left. I didn't even notice it untill I had taken more than 20 steps. 'What was that?' I asked myself, knowing full well I'll receive no reply. Since it's something I won't figure out no matter how deeply I think about it, I should just shelve the thought for now untill i figure out what's wrong with me.
As I walked, I noticed many closed rooms, which had me wandering how many people actually live in this place. And why was it so empty? other than Sofia and that red haired woman, I haven't seen any other soul in this place. Was it just the two of them?.
Wait!... I stopped at a particular door that had it's lock melted, isn't this the room I came out of? I pushed the door open and noticed the undone bed I was sleeping in. This is definitely the room I was in. 'What's going on?' Didn't I just walk away from here?, how'd I end up back here?
I walked towards the door that faced my room and tried to open it but before my hand could touch the door handle, I felt that force again, this time it felt like it was warning me. This made me feel frustrated as I felt like I was being controlled, 'I won't let you have control over me'. I ignored the force, grabbed the door handle and opened the door.
'Darkness'.
Behind the door was complete darkness, so dark that it made me feel uncomfortable. "Is anyone in there?" I asked, instinctively avoiding to raise my voice. All of a sudden, two red orbs appeared in the darkness. But before I could comprehend what it was nor say anything, another two red orbs appeared and then another... And another. They just kept multiplying and multiplying until I lost count. I could feel the fear starting to build up inside of me as goosebumps appeared all over my arms.
"Screeeechhhh!!!".
Suddenly a high pitched screech that made me feel as if thousands of needles were stabbing my brain resounded. Forcing me to grab my head as the screech was causing me too much pain. Then, all of a sudden the red orbs started to move erratically followed by the sound of dozens of crawling insects.
'BANG!'
I harshly shut the door. There's no way I'm going to just stand there and wait for whatevers in there to come out. I placed my hand on my chest and felt my drumming heart. 'Why does weird stuff keep happening to me'. I looked at the door and wondered what those things were and why anyone would keep them there.
'Let's try this again', I thought. I walked towards another door and like before I felt the force warning me of danger but I chose to ignore it once more. Grabbing the door handle, I twisted it and the door opened.
'What in the world!' Shock was all but written on my face as I gazed at what was behind the door. A forest... Yeah that's right, an entire forest was behind this door. I could see trees so tall they almost appeared to touch the sky, rivers that flowed with the clearest water and an abundant amount of never seen before flora. 'How is this even possible?. Just as I was about to take a step inside...
'BOOM!'
'BOOOM!'
'BOOOOM!'
As if it was a symphony made by a marching army with coordinated foot steps, booming noises began to resound around the forest, followed by the sound of collapsing trees. Each boom sounded louder than the other as if whatever was making it was coming closer. Looking into the distance, I could see a massive shadow that towered about the trees, slowly approaching towards me. The sheer size of the figure gave me chills.
'BOOOOOM!'
'BANG!'
I harshly closed the door again as I felt a cold sweat trickling down my back. ' What's wrong with this place?'. I sat down and leaned on the door, staring blankly at the wall Infront of me. 'I just survived having my heart literally destroyed and now I have to deal with this. Just kill me already damnit'.

"Tell me something I don't know... Wait". I hurriedly stood up and looked around the hallway but saw nobody. "Who said that?". I asked to nobody in particular. 'And why did it sound so familiar'.
[Forgot about me already... I'm not surprised]
The voice resounded again and this time I was able to tell where it was coming from and Identify it's owner. "It's you again isn't it, that voice from that dark place. Why are you still here? And why are you in my head?". I asked after calming down and sitting back down with my legs crossed, as weird as having an old dudes voice in my head is, it's better than opening another door and have my soul scared right out of me. At least I have someone to talk to, even though I might kinda look crazy.

I waited for an answer but non arrived. "Are you just going to stay quiet?".
'sigh'. I heard a sigh in my head.
[I have a name you know, but I prefer you call me by my alias]
"And that would be?".
[Telos]
That's one weird alias. "Alright 'Telos', what's your story?".

"What's interesting?" What could a voice find interesting. I'm just dying to know or maybe I'm already dead and this is just a dream. It's sad to think about.

I felt relief wash over me as I heard this. Even though I wanted to do it myself, it's better to stay in line with reality. There's no way I could have dealt with that demon on my own.
[I'll now answer your previous questions but before I do, you need to understand what I am]
I relaxed my body and prepared to hear what Telos has to say.

With the use of a powerful archaic spell and a well devised plan, I was defeated, Even with all my strength I couldn't stand a chance against that spell. Both my body and soul were believed to be destroyed on that day... How wrong they were. Even though my body was no more, my soul lived on, stuck between the boundaries of eternal resting and rebirth. I found myself wandering for thousands of years, searching for a vessel. A body that could house a soul as powerful as mine but I found none. Until I came upon you... Your body has a unique constitution that allows it to easily adapt to anything, even a powerful soul like mine could take over without causing it to implode...]
When I heard the imploding part, I felt shivers traveling through my spine.
[I saw an opportunity and I took it. Upon gaining control of your body and completing my part of the deal, I realised that I lacked a basic understanding of the human world. I did not want to make humans my enemies for they have not wronged me in anyway. And in my time as a body less entity, I have come to enjoy the human world. I do not wish to destroy it. Unless of course they make me their enemy first. Though judging by the amount of damage I've caused to one of their cities, that might now be impossible]
"What kind of damage did you cause?" I mean what kind of damage can the guy make in such little time. It can't be that bad, right? RIGHT?
