"Okay, she has waked up. After the injection you two can leave." The school doctor stared at Sheena and exhorted, "don't overdraft your health."
Sheena felt energy was still gathering inside and forced herself to reply with a smile as per etiquette, "thank you, doctor. I'll."
The school doctor walked out of the ward, leaving the two of them inside the room.
Although Sheena was seeing the doctor off with sight, she could feel an oppressing glance was right on her from the beginning to the end.
"You heard the words of the doctor, right? Don't you think you shall explain to me at least?" After quite a while, Stephan Korade stared at Sheena Hathaway with a quite serious face, as if Sheena had done something penal.
Hearing the inquiry of Stephan, Sheena grinned slightly. "I'm back. It's not a big deal."
After saying that, Sheena looked up to check the injection, it's almost done with only one third of the fluid left.
"Not a big deal?" Stephan Korade was pissed off by the saying tone of Sheena, "don't you think it's quite weird to hear the malnutrition from the doctor?" Stephan Korade looked at Sheena as if looking at an alien.
"So what?" Sheena lied back to lean against the hospital bed and repeated in a casual way, "it's just a health problem. Later I'll pay more attention to it, that's all." Sheena didn't want to bitch at such an issue.
Stephan noticed the impatience, but he just wouldn't feel comfortable to stop this topic, "how come a girl at such a modern time would encounter such an issue? Are you abusing yourself?" Stephan said with widely-opened eyes, he seemed to overact in this issue.
"How come?" compared with the emotional Stephan, Sheena looked more like a calm and objective person like telling the story of others, "Prince, it's not that hard to understand. If you have 24 hours and get 18hours to work, you may understand my having no time to eat."
Recently, the company that she had done a part-time job there was so busy that she had worked right after she sat down on the seat and not even walked to get a cup of water for drinking. After the duty off of this job, she had to go the Star Bar for singing, so every time she would choose to eat a piece of bread as the whole thing. What's more, in recent days she had spent so much in her family members that she didn't have too much left for her own expenditure. That's why she had eaten less and fallen into such an issue of malnutrition.
However, she couldn't confess these to Stephan Korade, so she refused to answer him but kept provoking him.
Stephan was pissed off by the way that Sheena had treated herself. However, Stephan noticed Sheena didn't have the plan to have a heart-to-heart chat with him at all. Therefore, Stephan Korade mocked, "that's fine. As long as you don't fall in front of me, I wouldn't be bothered."
What Stephan Korade couldn't tell Sheena was that he was scared like hell with the heart almost jumping out of the chest when he discovered Sheena passed out. He couldn't understand such a tough and stubborn girl would be in such a weak status. However, as soon as she waked up, she had nothing to do with weakness or gentleness. Since she insisted in covering everything from him, he wouldn't be that cheap to beg for attention.
Sheena knew Stephan was blaming her for her carelessness, however, she had to accept it, after all, the huge gap had implied the difficulty in understanding each other. However, she smiled to Stephan Korade with sincerity, "no matter what, thank you very much for the favor."
In fact, Sheena was still grateful for being in the same class with Stephan.
Stephan rolled his eyes on her without any pretending, "Save your etiquette." He walked to the door and planned to leave.
"See you." Sheena said for politeness.
Stephan was at the ward door and turned around when he heard her. "By the way, wait for me after the class, so we could go to visit our wedding department together."
"What?" Sheena was stunned.
Stephan smiled with a mocking sense, "did you forget our relationship?"
Reminding this fact, Stephan would always smile in a way of mocking at her. To some extent, Sheena was not comfortable for his dealing way of this. However, he was so careless and acted like making fun of it that Sheena couldn't blame him at all.
What's more, although they had married, Sheena couldn't accept the fact going like this yet. "Why?"
Witnessing Sheena's reaction, Stephan Korade cocked his eyebrows and said, "Go ask my grandpa Alex."
It turned out that it's arranged by Alex Korade, who claimed a couple should have an apartment of their own that he had bought one for them in the urban center as the marriage gift.
"It's not that big, but it's enough for us." Stephan added after the introduction. Such a case for him was just like a piece of cake, after all he had his own apartment and this marriage apartment was just the format implying his marriage.
"But we're not..." Sheena tried to stop any mixing around. Although she knew such a property meant nothing to his family, she wouldn't think it reasonable to accept such a marriage gift. As long as it can be rejected, Sheena would rather like refuse such kindness to prevent any trouble in the future.
However, it's obviously that Stephan Korade didn't think in the similar way, he seemed to already sense the rejection of Sheena, but he insisted that, "don't worry, you can feel free to live there, for I will seldom go there, I have my own apartment."
Sheena was embarrassed for being caught in thoughts by Stephan Korade. She might consider him as the hungry jackal, but he showed no interest in her at all. "But it's still embarrassing to…"
Sheena didn't continue, but Stephan grinned with a weird smile, "Girl, giving a play means you have to act as true to make others buy in."
From the inside of the eyes of Stephan, Sheena could see he was mocking at her innocence or naiveness.
After all, he was telling the truth: their marriage was fake, if they didn't act like real, nobody would buy in. She only thought of getting rid of trouble and ignoring the possible suspect that she may collect from others.
Sheena had to nod her head, "do I really need to…"
"Don't worry, if you insist in living in your rental apartment, you just need to go to our apartment in Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday." Stephan added, "my mom will go there in such days, so you can pack up some clothes to live there for pretending."
Sheena thought for a while. According to the saying of Stephan, in fact, this wouldn't bother her too much. After all, she didn't need to live there every day, that's good enough.
"Okay, send me the address, I'll go there by myself."
Sheena didn't want to be caught sight of when taking the same car with Stephan, so she would rather go there on her own to get rid of trouble. In case of those girls saw them in the same car, she wouldn't enjoy the peaceful study life like this.
"All depend on you." Stephan Korade shrugged his shoulders, "see you there at 18:30."
After saying that, Stephan Korade left without hesitation. From the performance of Sheena, Stephan Korade believed she was strong and vivid enough to leave the school ward herself.
"Humph." Watching the leaving back of Stephan, Sheena knew he didn't agree with her doing but chose not to negotiate with her. However, Sheena didn't care it, as long as he wouldn't cause any trouble, she would do whatever he like. What's more, this was the gift from Granpa Alex, whom Stephan Korade would bear the least possibility to fight against him, therefore, the best way to make things go smoothly without any accidents was to abide by their advice.
[Tonight, I can return him the bracelet of his grandma.] Sheena tried to repeat and impress herself this notice. It's better for her to not take any meaningful gifts and tonight would be the best time.
Later when Sheena felt better and the injection had been finished, right before she left the ward, Elsa Hill appeared.
"Hey, Sheena, are you alright? It's heard that you passed out in the class." Elsa Hill rushed to the arms to Sheena in a rate that you could sense her worry. Sheena pushed her stand upright and smiled with comfort, "Couldn't you be calm down a little bit?"
Widely-opening her eyes, Elsa Hill was almost to cry, "I couldn't bear it. As soon as I heard the news, I've come as quickly as I can."
Figuring it out from her breath, Sheena grinned ear to ear, "Don't worry. I wouldn't die before I buy an apartment for my self."
