Although Sheena had kept claiming her health, Elsa Hill had refused to buy in the words that Sheena had revealed. Elsa Hill accompanied Sheena to take classes and ate dinner together in the school canteen.
After witnessing Sheena had quite enjoyed the dishes that Elsa Hill had ordered without any care to the prices, Elsa Hill finally was released and left.
"Don't forget to join in the warm-up party for Eason Brook." Elsa Hill repeated as the nagging granny.
Sheena nodded her head. In fact, she didn't want to go. Eason Brook seemed to move to a bigger apartment and invited the original team to his house for warmup. However, Sheena was a little bit hesitate in the recent communication between them. Such a frequent communication and interaction would be easy to trigger something that had been successfully covered or compelled for years. It's not the right time to think about this at such a moment. At least not when Eason Brook was at the single and heart-broken timing.
"You must come. All of them have insisted on your showing up." Elsa Hill narrowed her eyes to warn.
Sheena gave a forced smile and didn't want to argue with her about this. It's almost 18:00, not too much time left for her to go to the address that Stephan Korade had given.
"Have you arrived?" Stephan Korade's call came when Sheena got off the subway. Sheena felt grateful and lucky that she had successfully made it before it's too late. Thanks to the good luck that, she got on the right train at the right moment that she didn't take too much time to get here. What's more, the apartment was near the subway station that it's really convenient.
"I've arrived at the subway, I'll walk to the building in 3 minutes." Sheena lowered down her head to look at the cellphone and it's just 18:25. "I won't be late." Sheena repeated, afraid that Stephan Korade might be impatient in waiting her up.
Stephan Korade in the other side of the call laughed, "fine, fine, fine. I'll wait for you at the gate of the building. Without the cards in my hand, you wouldn't be able to walk into the building."
Sheena knew what Stephan Korade meant, but she chose to ignore and speeded up the walking pace.
When Sheena got to the destination, Stephan Korade was smoking a cigar in a careless face. The passengers passing by would take a glance at him before he noticed. Sheena saw the whole scene from a long distance and couldn't help thinking: a handsome man would be just attractive even though he was smoking like no things on earth worthy of being cared.
"You almost drive me crazy. I hate to wait for somebody." Stephan pressed out the cigar on the trash can beside and complained as soon as Sheena got to his side.
Sheena was annoyed, "it's not 18:30 yet."
Stephan Korade rolled his eyes on Sheena and insisted that it's the fault of Sheena and he hated waiting for someone for long.
Sheena chose to ignore the nagging and walked into the building.
"It's in the 37th floor, the highest floor, you could enjoy the views upon the sky." Stephan Korade seemed to be so proud that he acted like a little bit too excited in front of Sheena. "If you don't like the high floors, we could also swift to..."
"Enough." Sheena stopped his nagging. Sheena wouldn't mind the status of this apartment. After all, it's not belonging to her and this wasn't gotten in the right way.
Therefore, compared with the excitement of Stephan Korade, Sheena was a little bit too official when witnessing the whole things.
Stephan Korade was quite good at ignoring things. In stead of the coldness of Sheena, Stephan Korade introduced the layout of the house, the size and the setting up.
In fact, although Stephan Korade had claimed it's not big, actually it's almost 300square meters that Sheena thought a team of football players could play in here for fun. Except the brightness of the elevator, Sheena had experienced the large size of the house, the famous brands of the furniture, as well as the great views of sky upon the tiny buildings on earth.
"How about it?" Stephan seemed to catch the amazed expression of Sheena, so he followed Sheena's steps and inquired by her side.
Holding the balcony railing, Sheena didn't answer but looked the sea horizon far far away.
When Stephan Korade was almost giving up the conversation initiation, Sheena grinned and looked back on him, "great views, great house."
"Are you always that cool in expressing?" Stephan Korade was quite curious about the true Sheena. Such a girl in front of him seemed to talk so little and limited. Isn't every girl nagging as the sparrow on the tree?
Sheena shook her head and didn't know how to explain. It's not suitable to confess him like that: oh, I'm sorry, I did it just because I don't want to mess up too much with you.
"Whatever you like." Stephan Korade seemed to catch the eye expression of Sheena, and he walked inside and lead the way, "come over here."
It's quire rare for Sheena to be obedient like this to just follow someone's guidance in doing everything, however, Sheena had discovered that now she was exactly doing this in front of Stephan Korade. Sheena would never expect Stephan Korade would be so nice as the guide touring her around.
"Here are the things inside, you could just enjoy yourself. Someone would replenish as soon as it's needed." Stephan Korade stood right in front of the fridge, saying in a nice but careless face.
Sheena had to admit that, it's very enjoyable to see the scene that a pretty body was standing there and exhorting such things. It's an deadly attraction to every girl. How come a playboy would be so considerate like this?
Staring at Stephan Korade, Sheena was trying to figure out the reason. Is she having anything that he wants? Or just he is out of his mind that he would care such sundries.
"Do you hear me?" When Sheena was back on earth, Stephan Korade had knocked her head with his long index finger by flicking.
Blushed in face, Sheena was a little embarrassed. However, seeing the things that are almost jammed the fridge to explode, Sheena burst into laughter. "Are you feeding the pig? Why do you buy so much?"
Stephan seemed to be pleased by the laughter of Sheena, so he smiled and replied, "these are nothing, if you want something else that you want to eat or drink, just write a list, I'll arrange the assigned person to manage this part."
With widely-opened eyes, Sheena didn't realize the true gap until this moment. She may think of the fridge will be filled with foods, but he had thought of arrange people to get whatever she like.
Although he might just do this as a considerate gentleman, she had realized the huge gap between their mindsets. And such a gap would be clear and large like this for the rest of their years.
Not knowing why, Sheena didn't feel comfortable about thinking of this result.
"Hey, what's going on, why do you look upset?" Stephan inquired with worries. However, right before Sheena could answer, Stephan picked up a bottle of yogurt from the fridge and just put into her hand, "okay, just enjoy it." He even had put a straw for her.
Swallowing the unknown sadness inside, Sheena smiled with thanks, "thank you."
"This is the card and keys." Stephan Korade foisted those things into the hand of Sheena and explained in details. "These are the keys for the doors, and this one is for the safe box. If you want to save anything valuable, put it there."
The words of Stephan Korade reminded Sheena one thing. Sheena began to search in her bag and finally brought out a red small bag, inside what was the bracelet that Grandpa Alex had given.
"Stephan, thank you very much for everything, but here is a thing that I think it's not suitable for me to take it." Sheena looked at Stephan Korade in a serious and honest face, "This is the bracelet that Grandpa Alex has given it to me, he said it's from Grandma."
"Wow, he gave you this." Stephan Korade took the bracelet and checked carefully, however, from the expression, Sheena could tell it was not the first time for him to see that thing.
"Granny used to nag on me to bring a girl back." Stephan Korade seemed to fall into the memories, "I still could remember when she claimed to give it to my future wife."
[He must have been raised under the love and care of his grandma, otherwise he wouldn't be in such an expression.] Sheena thought it in mind but didn't make a sound to interrupt him.
"I was raised up by my grandma." Stephan Korade smiled slightly and stared at the bracelet. "Every time when I had a fever, she would stay awake the whole night just for helping me cooling down by the wet towel."
Sheena didn't experience it but could imagine that warm scene.
