Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Accident in the Classroom

In the morning of that day, Evan Hathaway left with the 2,000dollars in a satisfied face, emptying the pocket of Sheena Hathway.

Sheena didn't cry.

Bearing such a father in this life meant she had to be tough in everything, both in difficulty overcoming and feelings handling. Therefore, Sheena forced herself to think it this way: she was paying money to get rid of trouble. Although she knew Evan Hathaway sooner or later would go to Stephan Korade for cash gifts or other funds in another name, she had to try all means to delay that timing. At least it's not now.

"Mike, could you anticipate my salary this month?" Sheena chose to get to Mike Clinton for help, for if she didn't do this she even didn't have a penny at the pocket.

Mike didn't inquire anything but immediately pay the salary that originally should be paid in the end of the month.

"Sorry, if there is any inconvenient" Sheena knew the reason that Mike Clinton didn't question, he was always considerate than others.

"Screw you…save that," obviously Mike Clinton didn't want to hear that kind of shits but continued with a tender voice, "already transfer, please check in your account."

Without waiting for the thanks from Sheena, Mike Clinton hanged up the phone after saying that, "don't bother my catch up on sleep. Bye."

Looking at the number obviously more than her expected part-time job volume, Sheena sat on the sofa with tears in eyes. However, she wouldn't let those tear fall down. She was not willing to be always the one asking for help. One day she must get rid of such a helpless status and have the power to support herself.

Sheena took quite a while to clean up the whole house after the leaving of Evan Hathaway, and when she came to her sense finally, it's in the afternoon, on which there were two specialized courses that she must attend to.

When Sheena rushed to the classroom, she was late and everyone was quite surprised that the excellent student like Sheena would be late for the school.

"Is there anything wrong?" The teacher had inquired with worry in her eyes.

Sheena shook her head and just entered the classroom after the agreement of the teacher. In usual time when someone was late for school, this teacher was quite a strict teacher that she would criticize strictly. However, she was quite nice to Sheena that she even worried about her. However, this was the first time for Sheena to be late, therefore, her forgiveness to her individually didn't provoke the classmates.

"Hey, are you okay? You look so pale." The monitor of the class asked when Sheena passed by her side.

"I'm alright, thank you." Sheena did feel a little bit giddy, however, she chose to smile to the monitor and continued her walking to the last rows of the classroom. It's her habit to sit in the end of the class, not in the vision of others and with the capacity to control the learning rhythm.

When Sheena got to the last row, Stephan was sitting in the last third seat of the row.

If Sheena wanted to go inside, she had to ask Stephan Korade to make way for her. However, Sheena didn't feel good that she chose to just sit down in the first seat of that row.

Noticing the sitting down of Sheena, Stephan Korade took a glance at her and then looked back to the book.

"Page 122." Before Sheena inquired about the course progress, Stephan suddenly said in a low voice. Sheena looked up and caught Stephan was turning to her and releasing the message. It seemed that Stephan had paid attention to the whole situation and just reminded her when noticing she was trying to figure out the class progress.

"Thank you." Sheena gave a forced smile, not knowing why she felt exhausted to spare some energy to other people.

"Are you okay?" even though Stephan Korade remembered Sheena had ever claimed to keep a distance between each other, he had noticed Sheena was more and more pale in face.

Leaning her head upon her hand, Sheena looked up with tiredness on face but still smiled slightly, "focus on the class, I'm okay."

After saying that, Sheena looked down onto the book and was not willing to say anything to Stephan.

Stephan Korade pulled the sleeve of Sheena, "stop hanging onto this like a crap."

Feeling dizzy on head, Sheena was just trying to be silent and alone to clean up her head, but this bastard Stephan Korade seemed not to be considerate enough to guess her right. Shocked by the tough movement of Stephan, Sheena turned to Stephan with annoy.

"Hey, are you nonsense? Or are you too boring to focus on the listening?" Sheena just felt a kind of heat right burning from her heart to the head, "don't bother me but those girls yearning for your!"

Just by a glance, Sheena had noticed even though they were in the last row, due to the movement and saying of Stephan Korade, several female classmates in the class had looked back to them with obvious envy and threat in eyes. Sheena remembered those girls, who were paying more attention on the dressing-up than learning. Every time when she passed by them, they would always be talking about the handsome superstar or the popular handbag. They seemed to care nothing but men and clothing.

Stephan Korade was inquiring for care, after all he didn't want to witness his nominal wife would fall in a faint in the classroom. From her physical status, Stephan didn't think she could get over it until the class was over. However, his care was paid back. Glancing at the annoy inside the eyes of Sheena, it was the first time for Stephan to do a self-examination on himself. Is he that awful to talk with a girl? Every time when he was in the classroom, he wouldn't need worrying about no girl rushing to chat with him. But now when he was doing the same just for putting his finger on another's pie, he was disgraced as if he was a fly lingering on the shit.

"I did it just because you didn't look good. If you think I'm putting my finger on your pie, then forget about it. I wouldn't be that faineant to interrupt your harm to yourself!" After saying that, Stephan looked forwards to the teacher on the rostrum and by the way rolled his eyes on those girls turning back to peer at he and Sheena.

"None of your business!" even though the teacher was right on the platform, Stephan just yelled out with anger. Although his voice was not big enough to startle the teacher but was loud enough to scare those girls to sit back to their seats with upright and straight backs.

Sheena was quite embarrassed. She just didn't want to raise any trouble or attention, but every move of Stephan Korade seemed to stimulate every desire of the viewers, and now she was dragged into the pit of attention that she hated so much.

Of course, she knew Stephan Korade was just inquiring for care, but she didn't need this but rest and alone. Therefore, when seeing Stephan Korade burst into anger due to her disgracing him, she was a little bit embarrassed and felt sorry.

However, at this moment, even she knew the reason why Stephan Korade was angry, she couldn't do anything to comfort him, for now she really was not feeling well. First it was the characters beginning to shiver then it was the whole classroom seemed to shake with the whole world.

"Are you okay?" Sheena was hoping that Stephan would just disappear from her vision but in stead he leaned forward to her with a worrying face. Sheena could see his frowning eyebrows folded as the wrinkles on the face of her grandpa, and she also saw his mouth kept opening and shut continuously. However, Sheena felt sorry that there was something wrong must have happened that she could hear nothing. Before she finally witnessed the whole darkness collapsing on her, she could feel the touching of Stephan Korade and the sense of sunshine, it's like the grass glowing up under the big sunshine, the quilt aired under the sky...

Followed by her falling was the chaos raised in the classroom.

"Doctor, is she alright?" When Sheena finally woke up, she heard a familiar voice was chatting with the other female voice.

"Don't worry, it's just because of malnutrition and excessive fatigue." The female voice raised and was followed by the sound of pen writing on the paper.

"How come a girl at such modern times would have the malnutrition problem?" The familiar voice raised to another tone was implying the shock of the sayer. "are you sure about this?"

The female voice sighed before continued, "Sorry, I just judge from my diagnose and couldn't tell you the reason..."

The overwhelming pressure was crashing on the female voice who was helpless. Even Sheena could have felt it, so Sheena opened her eyes to figure out what's happening.
