"Wow, it turned out that you rejected it for business." A poker face just appeared right in front of Sheena and didn't show any expressions.
Sheena was shocked to see Stephan Korade had showed up like this. "Why are you here?" Didn't you say you're going to spend the Friday night with your grandpa? The second sentence was not spoken out, but Sheena knew Stephan would understand what Sheena said.
Stephan shrugged his shoulders and didn't directly answer Sheena's question but stared at Sheena with a faint smile, "you came, I came, couldn't I?"
What Stephan had said just interrupted the happy atmosphere on site, everyone was shocked to see Stephan's appearance, especially Eason, who was stunned and just looked at them in silence. Sheena didn't know what Eason was thinking about right at this moment, but she knew there was something that she must claim clearly and stop decisively.
"Stephan, long time no see, just being surprised to see you here together." Sheena gave a sweet smile, pretending to be innocent but keeping a clearer distance.
"Sh...how come Sheena knows Stephan Korade?! He is the richest in the class of Sheena."
"Maybe. I've ever seen his Maserati in different colors, every time the girl in the copilot sea was different!"
"Yeah, yeah...Playboy life that every man envies."
"Sorry for your family background." The gang of people sitting not far away gossiped as if the hero and heroine were not right in front of them.
Sheena bit her lips and turned to Elsa and the guys behind her with narrowed eyes. All of them realized their chat had been heard and stopped due to the poker face of Sheena.
Catching sight of the expression of Sheena, Eason turned to their friends and made a gesture of index finger on his mouth, then everyone was silent and stopped the teasing.
"Hi, I'm Stephan Korade, nice to meet you." Suddenly, Stephan turned to Eason Brook in a serious face, stretching out his hand.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Sheena yelled out and planned to pull this person out of here before he messed around.
However, Eason stopped her and calmed her down with a glance, from which Sheena suddenly realized her overreaction.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Sheena's senior, Eason Brook, I've worked in Galaxy Law Office. Feel free to contact me if any needs." Eason said in a polite smile.
It was the first time for Sheena to see Eason acted in this way, she was amazed by the professional greeting of Eason that not until this moment did she realized the difference they had now.
Eason looked maturer than before, a little different from the one back then she had spent days and nights in studying together for the semester examinations.
"Woops. " Stephan shook hands with Eason, but staring at Sheena with a wink. From his smile, Sheena was sure that Stephan was figuring out something and bore something in mind. "Galaxy Law Office, which is the most powerful weapon for the reach in Golden Lion City." Stephan grinned with respect, which couldn't be told fake or true.
"Thanks for the appreciation. Welcome to contact me if needed." Eason smiled and pulled his hand out of the grasp of Stephan, who was looking at him from head to toes.
"It's better for me to stay away from you. Needing guys like you wouldn't be a good thing. " Although Stephan was in a smiling face, Sheena could sense the sharp contrast between these two men.
"Come on." Sheena stood up and pulled one hand of Stephan to leave the booth.
"Hey, what's up?" Stephan said while followed up the steps of Sheena, who seemed to run away with an ambition of flying away to the universal.
Sheena didn't answer back but just pulled Stephan to follow her, without caring how the rest would think about.
A few minutes later, they went out of the club, right in the dim street lamp, they stood there in silence.
Stephan smiled calmly and teasingly while Sheena was quite pissed off.
"Hey, why are you so angry as long as you're by my side?" Stephan laughed, saying the fact with a careless tone. He didn't care it at all, but he would like to mock at the different attitude that Sheena had offered to them. Why did she always smile so sweetly in front of that man but always stare at him with hatred and contempt.
Just like the scene right now.
Sheena bit her lips before she could answer what Stephan had asked. Sheena had never realized her performance before Stephan pointed it out. She thought she was just not adoptable with the working style of Stephan but she didn't know she had displayed her contempt so frankly.
"You didn't notice until I said it out?" Stephan smiled, sincerely and amusingly.
"Er..." Sheena didn't understand why Stephan would laugh out after he had pointed out her attitude towards him. Although she didn't mean to do it intentionally, it's really impolite to act like this to somebody, no matter how bad this man was.
Sheena looked up and apologized sincerely, "Sorry if any impolite behavior that I have conducted. I didn't mean to hate you, it's just that sometimes I couldn't hide my true feelings perfectly. Anyway, it's my fault." For Sheena, getting a friend was always better than establishing an enemy.
"Never mind. I wouldn't be so stingy." Stephan looked down at the little face of Sheena, capturing the little fuzz on her face. He didn't realize the beauty of Sheena until this moment.
"Do you love him?" Stephan suddenly asked, in a curious face but a careless attitude.
Sheena immediately understood whom Stephan was mentioning about. Flushed in face, Sheena was pissed again and said loudly, "it's none of your business. Don't forgive, there is a due time for our marriage. Don't mess up with a blockhead."
Hearing this, Stephan was stunned for a second and burst into laughter suddenly. He had never met a girl that would disgrace him like this as if he was just a piece of rubbish. If such a disgracing is just a trick, he would be curious about the next action the girl would take. But now the girl right in front of him did mean what she said, and he wouldn't rush to disgrace himself by handing over himself for others to humiliate himself. Therefore, Stephan stepped back and grinned.
"Don't ever overthink yourself." Stephan returned back to the arrogant himself as before, "I'm just worried that you may bring shame to my family, please don't raise any trouble or fairs by minding your own identity now."
Sheena was a little bit irritated right now, for what Stephan said was the truth. No matter what, the present identity had determined she and Eason had no possibility at all. Even if Eason was single now.
