Chapter 2 - Chapter 2:

As they continued to walk through the area with the daylight starting to go away, the trio explained their situation to Cassian, and as he listened, he realized just how little they knew about anything, to a point where it was almost frightening. "So, you don't know about the demons, you don't know how you got here, you can only remember more basic things. "So, you don't know demons, you don't know about any of that? Do you at least know about other races?" They all paused and looked at one another until Pat answered. "Do you mean things like if someone comes from somewhere like Asia or Africa?"

An annoyed groan escapes Cassian as he mumbles to himself. He dragged his hand over his face as he now realizes all the things he's likely going to have to explain. "Alright, so, firstly, other races, I'm talking about demonians and angelites." The three are all confused about these other races, but Pat was more confused on something else, "Isn't angelite a type of stone?" A quick response from Cassian answers Pat with a shrug, "Hey, I didn't come up with the name." That was a satisfying answer as they all continued on their path while Cassian continued to explain things.

"Demonians, as you can expect from the name, are demon-like. They got horns of all different shapes and sizes, as well as tails. Well, some of them have tails, some don't. They'll have horns nevertheless. Meanwhile angelites, again, like their names, they have wings and halos. Although, they can't usually fly, and their halos kind of just exist yet don't? I'm not big into the whole biology stuff about everything. So, I can't exactly explain everything to you." But then a question popped into Mike's head. "And then what about the actual demons?"

"Oh, right, they come from Hell. There's a bunch of rips through space on the planet or something that allow them to break through and get here. At least, that's what I've heard. There's a bunch of different ideas like how there are instead just random portals that allow transport between here and Hell. Again, I'll just tell you three, maybe one of these days you will get a more reliable person for this."

As they continued their path, only now did Alex realize, "Hang on, so, you know someone who can help? How exactly can they help?" As Cassian looked over at Alex, he gave his answer. "Gris, she's, well, I don't know how to explain her or what she's able to do." He laughs as he says it while they continue onwards before they appear near the entrance of a cave. "Alright, just got to teleport to a town and then keep walking through."

"Did you just say 'teleport'?" The question from Alex has Cassian slowly shaking his head in bewilderment before he speaks, "Yeah, you three desperately need to go see Gris." While saying that, he took out some type of item before throwing it out in front of him as a portal opened in front of him, but they couldn't see where the other side went. He motions the three to follow him as they look concerned about the portal.

"It's safe, don't worry. I've gone through it multiple times." He then passes through to wherever it would take him as Mike decides to run and jump through while Pat and Alex walk through it slowly and carefully. When they do, they arrive on an empty street and see Mike on the ground, just looking above as Cassian looks down at him with concern and confusion as to why Mike just did what he did. Mike gets up as the rest look at him before they look around at where they were. It was in the outskirts of some town. "Just keep following me, we need to walk through town and then get on a bus."

But before they could enter the town, there was a moment of sudden realization from Cassian. "Wait, do- No, you guys wouldn't know," He said, taking a moment to talk quietly to himself about whatever he could. He continues to do so for a few more seconds before coming to a conclusion: "Okay, so, we might have a slight problem. Well, maybe not a problem depending on how you guys want to see it."

With what he was saying, it did make the three have a gut feeling that this might not be good until Cassian speaks up once more, "Good news is that we're likely going to be able to find Gris quicker than I initially thought, if she continues on her usual dates of doing things. Bad news is that what she usually does around this time is not the most... Ugh, how do I describe this?" The three stood there as Cassian took a moment to ponder to himself.

Cassian continues to stand there and think. Meanwhile, the three just take a moment to observe their surroundings of the town lights on one side of them, and on the other, there was an empty field and a dirt road that led out into the darkness. However, before they could ponder anything else anymore, Cassian turns back to the three before blurting out to them. "So... how do you three feel about going to the black market?"

The three of them give a similar look of "I beg your pardon?" And Cassian gives a chuckle before having him continue to walk while turning back to them. "Just trust me, alright? Better to have someone to try and be there for you than be stuck without knowing anything, right?" And they had no counter to that argument so they continued to go along with him, supposedly, to the black market.

And so, Cassian led them down towards a small area that had a bunch of trees surrounding them before throwing down the thing that made the teleportation portal appear as he motions for them to go first this time around. "Just make sure to stay right there when you get over there, because, believe me, you don't want to get lost there." After that was said, One by one they did as Cassian said before he walked through himself with the portal closing behind him soon after.
