After King Ghidorah's defeat, life on Earth was back to normal. There was nothing to fear of as the invader who swore to take over Earth was now dead. Humans and other life forms can live freely without having to worry about King Ghidorah. Some say that Godzilla is still the bad guy in the situation, but those who know him well would know that Godzilla is a hero that will always be remembered. Life on Monster Island may be back to the way it was, but humans have to live on knowing that monsters do exist, and they are out there waiting for the next invasion or disaster to occur.
As for Godzilla, he didn't mind what was going on, afterall he did save Earth, he never intended on harming anyone. With all the rumours about him being evil as well, all that can slide. Nevertheless, Godzilla was still prepared for what was yet to come. He wasn't surprised if the navy was on the lookout for him and searching the sea, the millitary still wasn't satisfied with what happened a year ago. Scientists were still looking for answers, hence all the monsters on Monster Island were afraid that they might be exposed to the world.
"W-what are we gonna do? They're probably out there looking for our us! Especially you Godzilla!" Angiurus stammered.
Godzilla snorted and looked away. The sun was rising in the East. There was nothing in the sea, all that could be seen was the reflection of the sun on the still water. Angiurius stood there looking at Godzilla nervously. "Godzilla? Are you there?" Angiurus said, looking back at Godzilla who still didn't reply. There was a moment of silence, only the sound of waves at the shore could be heard. Godzilla eventually got up from the ground and slowly walked towards the large field where mountains were seen from a distance. "Wait up!" Angiurus shrieked as he caught up with the giant.
There were seagulls flying in the sky towards the shore of the island. Godzilla came to a stop as soon as he saw King Caesar and Gorosaurus playing football with a large coconut instead of a normal ball. "Godzilla you're up already, morning pal." King Caesar said. Godzilla stared at the both of them for a while. "Wait a minute." Godzilla rasped as he began walking forward, eyes focused at the end of the clearing. "Is something wrong Godzilla?" Gorosaurus asked, looking concern. Godzilla didn't say anything, he just kept walking. Angiurus followed him from behind, head facing down, hoping that the giant reptile wouldn't snap at him for no reason like last time.
Suddenly, Godzilla came to a stop. He looked up and sniffed the air around him. "Something's not right about that mountain." The wind blew at that very moment, the tall grass swayed along with the trees on every side of the clearing. Angiurus looked up at Godzilla who had a stern look on his face. Before Angiurus could say anything Godzilla interupted him.
"Eh, it's probably just the wind." Godzilla said as he marched his way back to where King Caesar and Gorosaurus where. They were still looking in his direction. "Godzilla what is up with you today? You've been acting all strange lately is something wrong?" Angiurus asked. Godzilla still didn't look at him however this time he answered his dear friend. "No Angiurus, it's just.. something feels missing." When both monsters finally arrived, both King Caesar and Gorosaurus continued playing their game of 'Coconutball' laughing and cheering as though they were having a lot of fun. Both Godzilla and Angiurus stood there watching. "Hey can I join you two?!" Angiurus exclaimed as he ran over to his two friends and carried on with the game, kicking the coconut with as much energy.
In one's view, Godzilla looked like a loner but he was already used to it, he wasn't a fan of 'fun' he liked naps. Sometimes when everyone else is awake playing tag or board games together, sometimes exploring the whole island or fishing, Godzilla was taking naps in his cave. If his cave was already occupied by someone else he'd lie on the bare sand. This was his lifestyle, nothing more than just sleeping for the whole day.
"Godzilla! There you are I've been looking all over for you!" A Dinosaur-Rat like creature came running towards him from the hill which led to one of the grasslands further away. He seemed to be in a hurry. Godzilla squinted, only to see that it was just one of his friends. "What does this rat want now?" Godzilla said to himself.
The so called 'rat' came to a stop in front of Godzilla looking right up at him. "Yes Baragon?" He said, looking rather annoyed. "Sir, Mothra's looking for you, I don't know if it's urgent or not but she-" Godzilla grabbed the end of Baragon's tail and lifted him up, gritting his teeth. He began breathing hard with his eyes wide open and furious. Baragon gulped, looking petrified at the beast. "You think this is funny?! Quit teasing me like that!" Godzilla roared. From a distance King Caesar, Gorosaurus and Angirus watched as Godzilla began yelling at poor Baragon who was about to be torn to shreds. "How many times do I have to tell you? I don't have a thing for Mothra!" Stomping his feet over and over the ground began shaking. "B-but Godzilla Mothra really wants to see you im not joking this time round and I never said you had a thing for Mothra." Baragon replied.
Godzilla turned away and sighed. "I've had enough of this." He let go of Baragon's tail which sent him landing on the ground with a thud. Looking down at the ground, he felt a sense of pity for himself. "Im sorry Baragon."
The rat-like creature looked at Godzilla for a while. He took the courage to go over to where Godzilla was facing to comfort him. "Look Godzilla, I know it must've been hard for you when you and Mothra were fighting Ghidorah and Rodan back in the city, but Mothra really wants to speak with you." Baragon insisted. Godzilla took a deep breath. "Look Baragon, you're all in danger because of me now the millitary is gonna track us down anytime soon. "Don't say that it'll take a million years for them to reach us we're literally in the middle of nowhere!" Baragon spat as he beamed at Godzilla hoping that his response will cheer the reptile up.
Godzilla turned to look at Baragon who stood there. He smiled.
"And besides, you're the King."
Baragon jumped over one of the rocks and came back to where Godzilla was. "I guess you're right, maybe I shouldn't be worrying too much." Godzilla said. "Ah, thats the spirit, now go find Mothra." Baragon replied.
Just then, King Caesar, Gorosaurus and Angirus approached them. "Damn Baragon I feel sorry for you." King Caesar chuckled. Baragon narrowed his eyes at him. "How does it feel to face the music?" Angirus said smiling. "Cut it out you guys I didn't mean to I was just telling Godzilla that Mothra wanted to see him thats all." All three monsters immediately looked at each othet upon hearing Baragon's response. "Oooo Mothra huh? Aren't you excited to see her Godzilla?" King Caesar laughed along with the other two who stood beside him. "Godzilla's been having a hard time give him a break." Baragon snapped.
"Oh yeah? Make me." King Caesar demanded.
Baragon scowled. "Oh I will!"
Both Gorosaurus and Angirus stood there anxiously as King Caesar stepped forward. Baragon kicked the ground preparing to ambush King Caesar and knock him down.
King Caesar's eyes were focused on Baragon, intimedating him. Looking at King Caesar's face, Baragon felt a cold shiver run down his spine. Is this really what I want? Do I really intend on hurting King Caesar? He thought. "Caesar, just stop already leave him alone.." Gorosaurus rasped. King Caesar ignored him and began circling Baragon.
"Whats wrong Baragon? You seem a little scared." King Caesar snarled.
"Im not scared of you." Baragon replied, his words sounding shakey.
"Are you sure? Judging by your words im guessing you are."
Baragon stopped circling King Caesar as he turned to look at Godzilla who stood there looking at them in disappointment.
"Whats wrong? Do you need Godzilla to help you because I don't think he-" King Caesar gasped as Godzilla began walking towards them. "Uh oh, the King looks really mad." Gorosaurus whimpered as both he and Angiurus backed away slowly. Baragon who stood there watching King Caesar in fear grinned. Godzilla stopped right in front of Baragon and took a deep breath. "You got me this time round." King Caesar spat, eyes on Baragon. "Guys can we please stop fighting?!" Godzilla growled. Looking at the giant reptile, King Caesar gave Godzilla a pityful look on his face. "Sorry Godzilla it's just that Baragon is so fussy about almost everything." The wind blew slightly. Godzilla furrowed his eyebrows. Gorosaurus and Angiurus joined the debate against Baragon which resulted in a huge argument between all four of them.
Godzilla stood in front of the four monsters, furiously. Closing his eyes, he took a long deep breath. The muscles on his shoulders tensed as his chest bulged out smoothly in relaxation. Baragon and Angiurus looked up at Godzilla as an adrenaline of fear ran through them. "Uh oh, he's gonna blow!" Angiurus shrieked. The rest of the monsters stopped fighting at the sight of Godzilla psyched up, holding his breath.
Then, Godzilla finally did it. His mighty roar could be heard across the whole island. All four monsters were now stunned. Who needed the wind when they had a giant balloon bursting right in front of them.
"Godzilla please stop!" King Caesar shrieked, covering his ears.
Baragon was the only one who wasn't afraid of Godzilla letting out all of his anger at them, it was expected for him to do that at that very point in time. The ground stopped shaking as Godzilla finally came to a stop. "That feels so much better." The giant reptile heaved a sigh of relief and returned back to his original grumpy state. Baragon looked up at Godzilla who was scratching his head. "Godzilla aren't you gonna see Mothra? She's waiting for you in the mountains." Baragon rasped. Godzilla was startled by what Baragon had just said. He felt like he was about to blush in embarassment. "Oh yeah right I almost forgot, thanks for reminding me Baragon." Godzilla replied as he headed straight for the hill behind him.
