Shanazer kept her gaze on Auntie Freya, trying to figure out her intentions if they were genuine or not and, certainly, hoping to give a good first impression, Shanazer knew that Auntie Freya had a different picture of her. Shanazer saw Auntie Freya concealing her true intentions that were not important to her that much right now. Therefore, she gave her charming smile that engulfed people in, subconsciously expressed her thoughts loudly, 'thank you auntie Freya. Your house is gorgeous and fabulous.' Shanazer gave an authentic comment.
Auntie Freya flashed her cunning smile, 'thank you, since you are here we shall not waste much time, let's get going!' auntie Freya suggested, changing the topic completely.
'Vincent? It's time to go!' Aunt Freya called out loudly, her voice full of excitement.
Auntie Freya couldn't believe that Shanazer was such a beautiful young woman, she indeed had her mind fooled.
Vincent came from his room, looking very lively, 'Let go!' He looked at everyone who also cast their eyes on him, emerging geared up.
'Did you get the keys for the car?' Auntie Freya flung the unexpected question at Vincent with curiosity curved on her face. She is always a cautious person.
'How can I forget?' Vincent fussed, his face disapproving of Auntie Freya's sense of humor.
'Alright, let's not argue over a minor misunderstanding?' Auntie Freya put forward, hoping to quench the fire she had ignited.
Olivia grabbed Shanazer's hand and dragged her outside the house to the car.
Time moved so fast that the four of them found themselves at Matebeto Night Feast. Without consuming much time, Auntie Freya ordered ten different dishes. Everyone on the table was hungry and salivating about the food.
This was the most interesting and exciting thing for Shanazer because she had never gone out for lunch or dinner before, so this experience was palpably new to her. Being in such a luxurious and extravagant place, made her butterfly wings flap out. She loved every second of this dinner. The sweet aroma of different foods weft through the entire room. As they waited for the waiters to bring their food and four bottles of wine.
The feast had started, everyone was so soaked in testing the new recipes.
'Shanazer, I heard that you will be having a dual next coming weekend. Are you a fighter?' Auntie Freya opened the floor. Shanazer did not expect to come across this question at the dinner table. She wished not to talk about it because everyone was so absorbed in the food.
'I know a bit of martial arts.' Shanazer replied, though looking like she didn't want to touch that topic.
'So, Shanazer, you are going to have a duel and yet it didn't cross your mind to let me know? When were you going to tell me?' Olivia demanded an explanation, looking quite upset to the point of which she paused to eat. Shanazer glanced at Olivia, feelings of guilt overwhelmed her, for not telling Olivia sooner.
'I am sorry, I was going to tell you, but you know how our days have been so far, such that we hardly had time to chat because of our busy schedules.' Shanazer gave an excuse though kind of defensive. She tilted a sharp gaze to see if Olivia had relented and calmed down.
'So where did you learn the martial arts from?' Auntie Freya cut through deliberately to slow down the heated conversation between the two sisters.
Shanazer changed her focus to the next target.
'I learned the basics from uncle Tairen Exon.' Shanazer answered nonchalantly, to the earlier question she was bombarded with by Auntie Freya, who made a puzzled face, upon hearing the name of the legend.
'What? You mean our Tairen Exon the legend?' Auntie Freya flung back, her whole body filled with entwined emotions and surprise written all over on her face.
'Yes Auntie, actually I did meet him once when he saved us from the mafia.' Olivia jumped in happily to arouse Auntie Freya's interest further.
Auntie Freya gasped and then went on, 'wow! You are related to Tairen Exon! Oh my gosh, amazing! Simply amazing!' Auntie Freya found it hard to believe it. Looking at the picture she had in her mind of Shanazer and how much she was now learning, it was simply unimaginable for her. She expressed a face full of astonishment. This was palpably new to her. Countless thoughts ran through her mind. Why was she labeled as a loser when she came from such a warm and powerful background? She was now convinced that there must be plenty of things people didn't know about Shanazer.
Silence cut through the table just folks and knives could be heard cutting through the dried game meat and chicken meat.
'Have you already started work at OxamCorp?' Vincent talked for the first time from the moment they had reached Matebeto Night Feast.
Shanazer grinned, she thought these kinds of questions are inappropriate, especially when you are eating, 'Yes I did, but they were just orientations. This coming Monday will be my first official full working day.'
Right at that moment, a specially familiar figure walked right into the Matebeto Night Feast. Shanazer saw him, so did Olivia, and the two looked at each other and smiles followed as they were evident on their faces. Auntie Freya noticed the action castrated by the two girls. She subconsciously gazed in the direction of the eyes of the two ladies, she saw two fine young men who were about to sit at a reserved table in the VIP area. The VIP area was situated on the third floor while Shanazer's crew were on the second floor, but both floors could see what was happening on the other side.
As Xander was about to sit down, he saw his dream girl eating gracefully on the second floor. He glanced for three good minutes to confirm if it was her. The moment he saw Olivia he was convinced that it was Shanazer.
'Hey dude, what are you looking at?' Inquired his best friend.
'Dude, the girl I told you about, she is there on the second floor.' Xander explained to his best friend, whose curiosity got a hold of him.
His friend twisted his head to see who it was.
'Dude, not now. I didn't mean for you to glance at her right now. She will figure out that we are looking at her, which will make things awkward.' Xander whispered, thinking in his head that she could hear him, not realizing that she was far away.
'Which one between the two?' Xander's friend could not help it, since his interest had already been aroused. He had to make sure he fed his throbbing desire.
'The one in a gray glittering dress.' Xander still had his voice calm and in a low range.
'Oh, my goodness, that's Shanazer, the girl having a duel with Cathy Williams. Wow! I can't believe that you found yourself a hero.' Xander's friend recognized her right away, becoming excited like he had already seen her fight before.
'And she is damn stunning! How about the other one? She is cute too, is she her sister?' His friend spoke consistently without stopping, which caused laughter in Xander.
'It's Olivia, they are just friends, as far as I know.' Xander tried to straighten up his friend.
'I want Olivia. Could you help me contact her?' Xander's friend had less patience and quicker at making decisions.
