'Relax bro, we will find the right time and things will play out naturally.' Xander eased up his friend, hoping to slow him a bit because he was too much in a rush.
'Alright, if you say so.' Consmart, Xander's friend, reluctantly, calmed down and breathed a sigh of relief as if he was in a mile marathon. This action induced laughter in Xander.
Right then a waiter appeared before them with two cups of soup as an appetizer.
Followed by the manager of Matebeto night feast, 'Mister Blake! How are you? It's always a pleasure to have you at Matebeto Night Feast.' He smiled broadly, his smile could not be predicted if it was a trained one or genuine.
'Manager Dawin! It's lovely to see you. How is life?' Xander replied, his face lit up as he had always enjoyed the treatment he received from Manager Dawin.
'Mister Blake, I have not seen your mother around here for quite a while now. How is she?' Manager Dawin was very observant of his customers, he was a professional who never condoned losing a customer, he tried every possible way to know how they were doing and what kept them from visiting Matebeto Night Feast.
Xander Blake beamed faintly, he did appreciate Manager Dawin's diligence, 'She is fine, and extremely busy, I rarely get to see her though we stay under the same roof.'
Manager Dawin picked up the conversation after he heard Xander's response, 'Oh, I see, that is the way it is? Well, the next time you meet her, tell her to come visit us, we have a number of new things in store, starting with new wines, whiskey, new food recipes and I shall hope you test some today.' He seemed really into his merchandise. He did advertise enthusiastically.
When Xander Blake had enough of Manager Dawin, he cut through him, 'Alright sir, I hear you, we are starving, could you go bring us some of those new dishes and the two types of your new wine.'
Manager Dawin grinned, after seeing that his intended goal had been achieved. There was no need to linger any further. He strode away, and the two of them were left to their drinking of the appetizing soup.
At that very moment, Cathy Williams entered the second floor with her friends. They looked like they were heading to the VIP lounge when one of her friends noticed Shanazer.
'Cathy?' One of her friends called and at the same time nagged her.
'What is it?' Cathy Williams riposted angrily, for she did not like the way she was nagged and hated to be touched.
'Look who we have there?' Pointing at Shanazer's table.
'I will be damned, this loser even gets to eat in such an environment?' Cathy exclaimed in puzzlement. She paused momentarily, she must be devising some mischievous drama right now. All her friends knew, whenever she went silent, they knew she was plotting something indeed, her behavior was very predictable and couldn't be faked and that was the reason why she had been alerted.
'Guys, would you like to see a new version of my acting skills?' Cathy had a dubious smile curved up on her slandered face, when she asked.
'Of course, who wouldn't? We love your acting skills!' Another joined in, definitely supporting Cathy Williams for her crazy and hilarious performances she always cast out.
Olivia had noticed Cathy, she was now startled that she was coming to their table. It was obvious that no one with two naked eyes could miss the actions and intentions of Cathy Williams because they were written all over her face, 'Shana? Your waste nightmare is coming behind you toward our table.'
'Hum? What?' Shanazer asked incredulously. She was so much enjoying the delicacies on the table. So when Olivia spoke, she did not hear her clearly. Everyone on the table turned to see who was coming and the waste nightmare of Shanazer.
'Cathy!' Whispered Olivia, hoping not to create a commotion with her voice. Shanazer turned to face Cathy Williams like everyone had done.
At this moment, Cathy was standing half a meter from Shanazer's face.
'Wow, wow! Look who we have here, Shanazer. I didn't know that working as an escort paid so much. Would you like to teach me how you do it?' Cathy's friends burst out into hysterical laughter, while Cathy pretended to be serious.
'I didn't know that you had so many talents, my dear Shanazer, a martial artist, a cleaner, a prostitute and an escort. You are a loaded girl, I admire you. As a matter of fact, I applaud you.' Cathy clapped her hand three times, 'I presume there are a lot of things I can learn from you. Wait, I forgot something?' Cathy held her right cheek, 'Also getting money from Gangsters and being saved by the legend, did you pay him in kind?'
Shanazer was speechless, she did not know how she could respond to the nonsense she had been bombarded with. At that moment, Cathy's act had attracted the attention of all the people feasting on the first floor, the second where sarcastic drama was taking place, and the VIP lunge. Probably even the manager was alerted, but he didn't want to intervene in this conflict. Because there were rumors going around that the people who crossed paths with the Williams family never lasted long on the surface of the earth and, in this case, Manager Dawin did not want to be on that list. He had a family to look after, people that depended on him for their day-to-day life activities, and he did not want to leave them vulnerable. He had better keep his peace. Though in his heart he hoped someone with stronger standing would come through and quench this brewing fire.
Meanwhile, he had sent his men to investigate the status of Shanazer and the family she was with.
'You are so petty, Cathy. I have nothing to say to you. I will meet you in the arena this coming Saturday, so please give us some space. We want to continue with our meal?' Shanazer finally managed to speak out her mind, yet she kept her composure for she knew exactly what Cathy was looking for at that instant.
'Of course you have nothing to say because you are cutely aware that all I outlined is the truth. And if I could make my prediction, the money you are using for dinner here came from prostitution.' The friends of Cathy jumped into an overrated laughter and by this time, some people had already secretly removed their phones and were recording the whole scene taking place.
On the second floor, Consmart couldn't help it but comment, 'Dude, this is not going to end well?' Looking at Xander Blake, who was lost in thought.
