Chapter 21 - Hot Lava

'Yep, I guess you are not wrong about that? But I would like to see how tough Shanazer's skin is at this moment.' Xander replied, his curiosity clearly visible and at its peak.

Consmart smiled like a Cheshire cat, unable to figure out what was on Xander's mind.

Does he want his girl to be made a fool in his presence? This thought crossed Consmart's mind, he found it hard to comprehend what was on his friends mind or what game he was playing.

On the second floor where the dramatic scene was taking place, Auntie Freya fumed in rage, her veins protruded out, 'You are very disrespectful young lady? Didn't your father and mother not teach you manners?' Auntie Freya's patience had reached its breaking point, she couldn't hold herself anymore. Olivia tried to stop her. She had heard rumors about how ruthless the Williams family were, and she did not want her family to get involved with them, but she was too late and things had already escalated very far.

A certain woman about five tables away from Shanazer's table mumbled, 'Oh, my goodness! How did this family get entangled with the Williams family? This family is not likely to survive that long on the surface of Ventrander.' She expressed her deepest sympathy and felt sorry for the strangers she never even knew.

'Not good, I feel pity for this family, its sad, they seem to be good people.' The friend dove into the conversation. Everyone was concerned for this poor family who really knew the Williams family, for they were not people to triumph with. If you have money, maybe yes you could give it a try. All the people right now were all hoping and wishing for a miracle to come through at that moment. They did not want their dinner to be ruined, for they had reserved this humble time for family reunions, because in this era people had very busy schedules and lives.

On the third floor, a young woman collapsed all of a sudden, 'Help, help?' An elderly man cried out loudly with a shaking voice which filled all the inter-spaces from the third floor to the first floor. All eyes from the third floor to the fifth floor went in the direction of the voice in desperation. The people on the first floor couldn't see that much, even though the floors of the Matebeto Night Feast building were made in a stair formation.

'Please help my granddaughter?' An elderly man continued crying for help, and hoping that someone would come and aid his granddaughter.

The manager of Matebeto Night Feast hurriedly came with five men behind him with a first aid tool box, 'What is the problem sir? How can we help you?' He flung two questions at once, which caused further nervousness and agitation in the old man. Tears were already streaming down his cheeks. It was evident that the two had a strong bond and relationship.

By this time, the orchestra stopped playing music on the third floor. 'She suddenly had difficulty breathing, before I could process what was happening. In a fraction of a second, she collapsed. I really don't understand this, she is a very strong and healthy person I know.' The elderly man's explanation was filled with deep emotions. If you stood fifteen meters away, you might be able to feel his horror.

One of the paramedics was already examining the young lady who lay breathlessly. Subsequently, after finding out his analysis, he shook his head, 'I don't understand this condition, she needs to be taken to the hospital immediately, otherwise we might lose her, if we delay further, this condition needs to be treated by experts.' The paramedic declared, looking very worried, this is indeed one of the most serious cases to deal with since he started his career.

Shanazer did not even know how she had moved to find herself cross-examining the young lady. By the time the people were realizing what was happening, the next words that came out shook everyone, 'She won't make it to the hospital, can I see what you have in your tool box?' Shanazer inquired, her face did not appear to have worry at all, she was the calmest of the people in the building.

Everyone was now confused about the preceding progression of things. 'Who exactly are you? Are you a doctor?' The elderly man asked with a frowning face. The paramedic had given a final verdict. Now who was she to contradict him? All the people in the dining hall had this same question lingering in their minds.

At Shanazer's table, the team she came with were stunned, unable to tell all the strange actions done by Shanazer, 'What in the world is Shanazer doing? Does she know medicine?' Auntie Freya flagged down the troubling question in her mind. When she thought her day was dreadful enough, now Shanazer went on to display another parade? How will this day play out?

'Nope, she is studying electronics engineering.' Olivia answered, according to her understanding. The question of which was posed by Auntie Freya and at the same time, not knowing what her response, would ignite in Auntie Freya's mind. She carried on after realizing the fire she had flamed up to ease up Auntie Freya's temper, 'But there is one thing I know about Shanazer. She does not do what she doesn't know.' Olivia endeavored to neutralize Auntie Freya's emotions at this point, because she was already steaming up like hot lava.

Synthen? I need to help this person otherwise she will die. Shanazer spoke in her mind to the system. She was aware that the condition this young lady was in was something that her system might be able to help with.

'The system analyzes food poisoning in this person. The chances of surviving are very low. I can synthesize the antidote, but I need to know exactly what kind of poison she has consumed.' Synthen briefed Shanazer on what the system came up with. Now it was up to Shanazer to find out what the young lady had consumed, or the source of the poison. The question trailing in Shanazer's mind was what could be the cause of the poison. If it was food poisoning, why did it happen right at Matebeto Night Feast or could it be that the poison was already in her body even before she came into the building. Or there was another factor at play which she needed to find out in a few seconds, otherwise there was a high probability of losing the person. It's a must, she has to come up with the solution before it's too late.

'Who are you?'
