After practicing wind and fire magic for the previous two days, today is the day that I expect my combat tutor to arrive. My beast, body and crafting tutors will be leaving the following week. They have promised to send numerous books on their respective disciplines. I feels a little sad that our journey of 4 months will end soon but that is just how life goes. It is expected that my tutor will arrive here by noon. It is currently in the morning. I am casting a barrier over a tomato and pounding it continuously with my right hand. Minor deformations have appeared within the surface of the tomato. My goal is to make sure that the tomato remains as close to the original form as possible. This exercise was introduced to me by Miss Lavender so that I can refine my technique. It is now noon, my combat instructor has not yet arrived. I am doing some body training exercise currently. This includes coating my body with a rock membrane and lifting a giant boulder over my head repeatedly. Through body magic, my strength has grown immensely. It would not be incorrect to say that I am 5 times stronger than Nathan despite my young age of seven. We started some friendly competition not too long ago after he started training me on how to use wind magic. He once threw a sickle shaped wind attack at me as a joke. However, I turned my body membrane to metal and effortlessly parried the attack. This was a shocking outcome for Nathan who went on to try more powerful wind attacks but were all easily countered. We limited the use of lightning magic because it was too dangerous. Since then, we have been each other's sparring partner every chance we get. I can throw some wind attacks such as sickle blades but they are weaker than Nathan's attacks because of my lack of experience. I also train with some of the other soldiers regularly. They were hesitant at first, but after I demonstrated how my steel membrane took a direct hit from one of Nathan's strongest wind spells, they all agreed to my request. We were now full on sparring with the guys and I got to see how a fire and light mages fought. They were more than happy enough to try their various techniques on me. It was exhilarating mostly because their attacks did not even trigger an inch. I had reinforced my metal membrane with another barrier in front of it. The same barrier I used on the egg and tomatoes. This exercise was also done in secret far away from my other tutors because I suspected they would complain about it.Our competitive nature got the best of us, Nathan and I decided to test out our physical strength against each other. The result was that Nathan was nowhere near my level. While Nathan struggled to lift a log of wood from a platform we had built, as long as there was balance, I could lift two of them simultaneously one on each hand. I knew I was strong the day that I bent a metal cup after sneezing, this was a few weeks ago but this was unprecedented even for me. "What? Two of them at the same time? That is ridiculous." Nathan exclaimed. "Ha-ha by the time I reach your age I will be picking 20 of them at the same time." I boasted. Since then, Nathan and the guys train religiously from morning to evening. They stated that they cannot protect me if they are this weak. I taught them about using push-ups and pull ups to strengthen their bodies in while requiring minimal resources which they were grateful for.It is now evening, my combat tutor has yet to arrive. Did he get lost I wonder. Well no use in thinking about things that cannot be helped. Just before nightfall, some few carriages arrived. Two of them bore the Talon's insignia. What the hell is going on? I was not expecting this many visitors. Is that also a royal carriage? Everybody was just as confused as I was. Within a short period, the Dark and the Earth Talon quickly stepped out of their carriages and hurried to my direction. The people around me fell to their knee as they approached. What the hell is going on? "Greetings White Eagle. I hope you are well?" The dark talon asked. It should be noted that after assuming a Talon's duties, one sheds off his sense of self including their names and are only referred to with their title. "I am well and pleased to see that you are all in good health. Please do come in, refreshments for your journey will be provided." I said as I ushered tem in. The guests introduced themselves. There were two Talon's, the Capel's kingdom prime minister and a representative of the fire Talon with their entourage. "The great migration has begun. We expect a very difficult period this time around. Something about their behavior seems unnatural. " Zora, the representative of the fire mage spoke first after being nudged to do so by the Dark Talon.
[The great migration is a period that occurs every 120-130 years in the great forest beyond the wall. After the number of beasts that can be supported by the forest eco system is exceeded, the beast try to migrate south towards the wall. ]

"It has been observed by our scouts in the forest that an Emperor Dragon is actively driving all the beasts south. The reason for this remains unclear." Zora added. "All of them?" I asked shaken to the core. "Yes, it has been observed torching the habitats of various monsters it comes across." Zora answered. This is very very very bad. A century ago during the meteorite incident, the forces were struggling dealing with gigantic beetles. Now, all the monsters in the forest some who are even unknown will be coming to us. Everyone who was hearing the news for the first time had a very familiar look with mine. "We are currently seeing flying monsters in both the Kingdoms of Ultra and Midrain. One settlement in Midrain has also fallen to wyvern attacks. We expect a large number of ground monsters to reach the wall within 6 days." Zora added. "As you have heard White Eagle, the situation is dire. My peers and I have sent orders for total mobilization. We are heading North tonight." The Earth Talon said. "That is not enough, I think all citizens should begin evacuating south immediately. According to my history, we are going to face a war that has not been seen since the time of Sir Bors the first White Eagle." I added. "Yes White Eagle the order was given to both rulers today in the morning." Zora said. "All of us here will be accompanying you. We ask that you give us a few hours to prepare." Nathan said. Nobody was against that declaration. Almost immediately, we excused ourselves and started preparing for the journey. From the capital to the wall, the journey would take two days. I wrote a letter to mother explaining what was going on and not to worry about me because I had grown strong enough to protect myself. Although, I am sure that nobody would be okay with their 7 year old son going to a war hot zone. The preparations were complete, we were now riding the carriages towards the kingdom of Midrain which was in a more precarious position. Nathan was in full battle armor, Miss Lavender carried a short sword on her hip, Mr. Albert was bare handed but with his strength and body abilities, he could be considered a weapon by himself. I carried my spear with me which through various mock battles with Nathan, I found it to be the most appropriate choice for me. The mood was very tense everybody was silently contemplating their own things. Finally that changed when Miss Lavender broke the silence. "Don't be nervous, you and I are going to the medical unit section. Our work will be retrieving the injured and offering first aid. With matter combination and disintegration, it is possible to treat various wounds I will show you how." She said. "Yes you are very strong. We have been secretly observing your mock battles with Nathan for a while now. But you should know that we Dark Mages do not fight the enemy directly. Our job is to save as many lives as possible. We only fight when necessary." Mr. Albert added."Really? But a person like you Mr. Albert with your strength, you could turn the tide of battle." I asked. I had a rough estimate of his strength because I once tried arm wrestling him. This was after I embarrassed Nathan and thought to myself that I was among the strongest people in existence. I could not move his arm at all. We then went to the log section where I tried to brag by placing my hand under a giant log and lifting it. However, Mr. Albert gripped the same log with his fingers and lifted it above his head without struggling. Five deep holes where the fingers had touched were seen after he dropped the log. I was deeply humbled by that experience. "My primary role is retrieving the injured in the battle field and treating them. However, if the situation becomes so dire that defeating the enemy is more important than reducing casualties. We are allowed to join the fight." Mr. Albert said.The night was going to be long so I took a nap inside the carriage. At least I am not fighting right away, I did not even get a chance to learn some combat training. This is probably the best option.
