The Egg was now flying smoothly through the dark blue space, moving away from the Earth. The crew had been able to escape their Exolib enemies.
But the captain was worried.
"We're not moving fast enough. And I don't know why. This could be a major problem that would jeopardize the rest of our travel."
"Come on!" said Parker. "We've made it out alive. Why are you so grouchy?"
"He's right." intervened Fluffy. "There was something weird from the beginning. We're not moving as fast as we should."
"Yes!" said Nero. "The Egg was holding on for its dear life for outrunning those Exolibs!"
"Yeah, we should have been able to speed out of their reach in a sec." confirmed Ruby. "It's as if we lacked power."
"Or as if we had to drag some additional weight." said Nero.
"Additional weight?" asked Topi. "What could it be?"
