I was finally moving into my collage dorm, it was quite spacious. It seemed like I arrived before my assigned roommate has, I started to unpack and set up my things. Liam said that after a got comfy here in about a week he'd come by to bring me out for dinner, for right now we talked using our phones.
As I was thinking I heard the door slam open and I saw a quick glimpse of someone rushing into the room, I rushed over to see who just entered and I saw a boy half out of breath. He had a backpack on him and he looked a total mess. "Who are..?" He asked looking at me, his breath was shaky and so were his words."I could ask you the same thing, why are you in my room?" He looked at me annoyed. "This is my room, you must have the wrong room." I was getting ticked off. "this is my room, I was assigned to room 105." His expression slowly softened as he looked at his phone. "I'm also supposed to be in 105, maybe there was a mix up?" "Maybe." I replied as I dialed the collage in my phone to give them a call to get things under control, it turns out that I forgot to read the small print show casing the fact that there would be mixed room arrangements. But I still didn't like that I'd have to share a room with a guy, I quickly sent Liam a next explaining the situation I was in before turning back to the guy."Well uhm, might as well learn each others names. I'm Ashley but my friends call me Ash, what's your name." He sighed his answer following. "My name is Noah." He walked to his side of the room and started to unpack his own things.I went back to working on my side but this was not the most favorable arrangement, after my side of the room was to my liking I sat down on my bed and picked up my phone. I went to see if Liam replied to me yet and while I was looking Noah snuck up behind me and startled me. "Who are you texting?" I jumped and turned to look at him, he was practically leaning across my bed to over my shoulder. "My boyfriend." I said as he leaned back away from me."That checks out." He said sitting on the side of my bed. "Why is it any of your business, don't you have something else to do?" He blankly stared at me and shook his head. "Not really no, how about we exchange phone numbers? It'd be good to stay in touch just in case." He said putting out his hand for my phone, I passed it to him and he put in his phone number.After he handed me back my phone he stood up and did a quick stretch and walked to get his phone he slipped it in his pocket and walked off. "Catch ya later." He said waving as he closed the door, I fell back on my bed.My stomach was in terrible pain right now, I tried to get up but I couldn't. I needed my meds, now. I tried to get up but I kept falling, the pain was so intense right now. Maybe if that guy was still in the room I could ask him for help.After awhile I got to my nightstand and grabbed a pill out of the container and drank some water with it, it took a minute for it to kick in and a feeling of relief ran over me. I stood up off my bed and decided to walk around campus since I felt good right now, as I walked I literally walked into my roommate Noah. I was still a bit dazed from earlier so I hadn't even noticed him before I bumped into him. "Watch where you're going!" I looked up at him and down at the floor. "I-I'm sorry." As I started to try and walk away Noah grabbed my arm. "Are you doing okay?" He asked as I nodded, when he let me go I walked my way down the hall.Later I entered into my room and I saw Noah on my side of the room staring at something on my nightstand, as I walked over to take a look he turned around startled. "Are these drugs?" He asked holding my bottle of medication."Well yes, but the good kind." Noah looked at me puzzled. "What do you mean?" I didn't want to answer that right now. "Uhm they're pain meds, so if you could put them down please." He placed them down on the table and looked back at me."Are they prescription?" I let out a deep breath and looked him square in the eyes. "Its none of your damn business, understood? Now you will kindly walk to your side of the room unless you want to fight."Noah stepped away from me and made his way to his side, he didn't seem scared about my threat at all. But for now I needed to go get a shower, it was getting late and I'd need to go to bed soon. I had been texting Liam earlier and he said that there shouldn't be a problem with me having a male roommate as long as he keeps his hands off me.While I was in the shower I felt the burn of the soap over my cuts but pain is temporary, I got dressed and headed back into the room. I sat down on my bed and Noah walked over. "Sorry about earlier... That was a total invasion of your privacy." "Oh yeah uhm, forget about it. Its all forgiven!" Noah breathed a sigh of relief, he sat down beside me and looked over at me a little nervously. "Wanna uh, play something?" That question really sparked my interest."Did you have a game in mind?" Noah just thought for a moment. "Not exactly, I just don't know what to do." There goes my interest. "Well its getting late and classes start tomorrow, we should sleep anyways." Noah nodded and went to his bed on the other side of the room, I figured that I might try to change rooms to have a girl roommate tomorrow.
I went to sleep and woke up early with my alarm ringing in my ears, I turned off my alarm and walked to the bathroom to get ready. The door was locked so I suppose that Noah was in there right now, I sat back down on my bed and checked my phone. Liam sent me a good morning text which I responded to quickly, I decided to send the school a quick text about how I wanted to switch rooms.The bathroom door opened and Noah walked out, I quickly got up and slid into the bathroom to get ready. I got dressed and brushed out my hair, and looked in the mirror. I was all ready to go, I checked the time and I was starting to run a bit late so I grabbed my stuff and hurried off.The first day of collage went by smoothly, Liam showed up to my collage after my classes to surprise me. It was a nice surprise to see him, we ended up going out to dinner."So Ash, how was your first day of collage?" Liam asked as we were seated in the restaurant. "Pretty good, so you remember how I was telling you about my roommate Noah right? Well I'm trying to get my room switched so I can have a female roommate, I should be getting a response back from the school pretty soon, I hope." Liam Smiled and looked at the menu. "Thats good, and when the rooms get switched then you should be able to live more comfortably there with a girl in the room instead." I nodded and looked down at my menu as well."There's a lot of choices at this restaurant aren't there?" I said while looking through the menu. "Sure are." I showed Liam the message and he got happy with me, but I would have to hurry back right after we ate since I needed to pack up a few things.While I was getting packed Noah walked back into the room, he looked as though he had just had quite the night already. He was seemingly a bit tipsy as he stumbled over to his bed, I wasn't even sure if he was old enough to drink.He plopped down on his bed then looked over at me. "What're you doing?" He asked his voice was deep and sleepy sounding. "Just packing up, I'm going to be switching rooms. You'll have a male roommate soon too." Noah looked at me annoyed, he got up off his bed and walked towards me.He reached forward and grabbed onto my shirt and pushed me back, it seems he really wasn't just tipsy but actually drunk. He walked towards me again and grabbed onto me and flung me on the floor, damn it he was actually strong.I hopped up, it seemed that this was going to be a fight. I took a stance. "What's your problem dude?" I said taking a few steps back. "Why would you wanna switch rooms?" He was practically crying now, his eyes were practically pleading for me to stay. Did he want me around?"Well you know it'll be more comfortable if I have a female roommate that's all, we'll still be friends though. I swear!" As the words left my mouth a felt a sharp pain, not a emotional one though. Damn it, I looked around the room to my nightstand. I needed to get around Noah to reach my meds though, through disorientated vision I walked past Noah.Luckily he didn't do anything to me while I reached for them, I grabbed some and popped them in my mouth as quickly as I could. I collapsed to the floor, I was still conciseness. As my vision cleared I started to feel better, Noah crouched down beside me to make sure I was ok.After that Noah stumbled to his bed and went to sleep instantly, I finished packing and got rooms switched just in time before midnight. Noah's new roommate was a boy named Max, and my new roommate was a girl named Lizzy.I got settled in and got to bed as quickly as possible, the next day I got ready early since I needed some time to work on things and wanted to be out of the way for Lizzy when she got up. But it turns out she had classes scheduled later then mine so it wasn't really going to be a problem since she woke up when I left, I went to my first class of the day which was one with Noah.When Noah saw me walk into the room he rushed over to me, he was smiling as he waved to me. When he got to me he quickly started to apologize. "I'm so sorry for last night, I can't remember everything exactly but it was totally out of character for me. I hope you're doing alright, you don't have to forgive me but I'm still asking for forgiveness."I knew that every word that left his mouth was genuine and true. "I forgive you, accidents happen." I smiled my most forgiving smile I could, but this wasn't over yet...
