EMILY'S POV
After finding out about Veronica and who are allies where, I became careful around her. I battled with taking care of Jack and gathering evidence to expose her.
"Good morning darling." Jack said, as he rolled behind me. I didn't realize it was already morning since I was sitting on the bed with my head on the dashboard while thinking about yesterday.
"Good morning dear. How are you feeling?" I asked him as I rubbed his face. He suddenly snickered. "What is it? What is funny?" I questioned him seeming confused.
"I've told you before that I'm not sick. It's just a tumor and it's not making me sick. Look, I'm fine." He said stretching out his muscular arms for me to see.
"I was just trying to make sure you're ok." I told him feeling better.

After Jack left for work that day, I communicated with my secret ally who helped me fish out Vivian. "Do you have anything for me?" I asked him through my phone.
"Yes Emily. Come out to the new address I just sent to your phone." He said before hanging up. I looked at the address and got ready immediately. I wore a black dress with my black shades on.
My driver drove me to the address my ally sent to me earlier on. When I got to the address, everywhere was quiet. I slowly walked into the building. It was an old coffee shop. "Malik?" I called out, but there was no response.
I walked pass the counter that was filled with dust and I almost fell down when I saw Malik's lifeless body lay on the ground with blood gushing through his head. I covered my mouth in shock as I watched my cousin's body shake until he passed out.
"No no no Malik." I cried out as tears filled my eyes. I was about leaving when I saw a piece of paper close to his legs. I picked it up and it read.
"Stay clear!!!!!!"
It was written boldly with Malik's blood obviously. I looked around and saw no one was around. I called an ambulance and afterwards, I left the place heartbroken.
When I got home, I was surprised to see Brian and Veronica at the house. I made sure I wiped my tears before entering into the house. "Oh, here she comes." Jack said as he walked to me and pulled me in for a hug.
I stared at Veronica with rage and agony. "Where have you been?" Jack asked as we returned back to the others.
"I went to get some groceries at the mall and also visit Sam." I said as my lips curled up in a smile that wasn't from my heart because I was boiling with anger from the inside.
Veronica smiled at me as I walked to where she was seated with Brian. "They came to tell us about their wedding which is tomorrow." Jack told me.
"And I would love for you to be the event planner Emily. You know how good you are with your work." Brian added smiling. I gave a light smile as I pitied him because he didn't know what he was getting himself into.
"Of course. I will help." I said smiling. Sometimes I felt like telling him the truth about the woman he wants to marry but when I remember that I don't have any evidence to back that up, I will be drawn back.
I suspected that Veronica, Matthew and Vivian were planning something big and I didn't know what it was. They killed my only source of information and I was going to find out who did it and put them behind bars.
_
Just as planned, I organized the wedding. It was a beach wedding filled with white colours. Brian didn't want a loud wedding so he wanted something simple and with few guests too. He didn't want the social media and television to carry the news too.
The guests started arriving in no particular order and within thirty minutes, the seats were filled with family and friends. Mr and Mrs Blackwood also made their great appearance in their all white attires that screamed millions worth.
I watched as Brian and his best man walked to the altar and I pitied him dearly. I was almost moved to tell him but I stopped halfway. I searched around for Jack and I found him discussing with some guests.
"Jack I need to tell you something. It's very important." I told him.
"Excuse me." He told the guest before following me to the other side of the event. "What is it you wanted to tell me?" He asked me innocently.
"This wedding can't work. We need to stop it. Veronica isn't who she says she is." I told him.
"What?" He said laughing. "Come on Emily. If you were pregnant right, I would have said it was the pregnancy hormones that made you say that but, what exactly are you saying?" He asked me seriously.
"She's working for Vivian and Matthew. Jack they are planning something big this time." I explained to him.
"What are you even saying Emily?" His mood suddenly changed and he became angry. "I should stop my younger brother's wedding? Do you know how broken he will be?" He asked me as he came closer to me.
"Look Jack---------------"
"Let me warn you now. Don't do anything that would make this wedding stop or else.........I won't forgive you." He said almost leaving but he returned back to where I stood, still flabbergasted by what he said. "I was about telling you that the doctor called and told me that I can undergo surgery now, but you just spoilt my day and mood." He said before leaving me there like an outcast.
Tears clouded my eyes and before they could drop, I wiped them off before going back to the wedding ground.
It was time for the bride to walk in and everyone turned back staring as Veronica walked in with a man who I presumed was her father. He escorted her to the altar before going to sit.
The priest started in no time. I prayed and wished that a miracle would happen to stop the wedding but nothing was forthcoming. I gazed at Jack who looked at me with anger still in his eyes. I couldn't blame him because he was ignorant about everything. I wished there was someone who would understand me but there was no one.
The priest finished their vows and pronounced them husband and wife and everyone clapped loudly. The smile on Brian's face was priceless but it pained me that he didn't know who the woman he just married to was a green snake in a green grass.
Whilst I stood at the back watching everything, Brian walked to me. I could see the happiness in his eyes and I obeyed Jack. I imagined how he will feel if he found out the truth.
"Congratulations Brian." I told him as we embraced each other. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I gave a fake smile trying to hide the tears but it was too late.
"Are you crying?" He asked me as he wiped them off with his kerchief.
"I'm not-----------it's--------just tears of joy Brian. Don't make me cry more." I stuttered pulling him in for another embrace.
"It's ok sis. At least I'm not the bride, I'm not leaving." He said snickering. We had a few chats before he excused himself to greet other guests. I stood in that position, watching everything and everyone.
"How do you feel after looking like a liar and hater?" I suddenly heard someone say from my back. I turned around and saw Veronica smirking with mischief.
"What do you mean?" I questioned her as my anger grew from the inside.
"Don't try exposing us cause it's not going to work." She whispered into my ears before leaving. I felt the urge to almost punch her in the face but I kept my cool.
My phone suddenly vibrated and I saw a text from an unknown number. "Watch how we take down the Blackwoods."
