EMILY'S POV
Days passed and I couldn't stay away from Jack. I decided to go to the Blackwoods to see him. After getting there, I hid from the securities and sneaked in. I went straight to Jack's room. As my hand reached for the door, I felt a hand grab my arm.
I turned to see the scary and angry face of a huge built security. I swallowed saliva in fear as I imagined what he could do to me. "How did you get in here?" He yelled as he dragged me out.
"Please please......can I see Jack for just a minute?" I pleaded with him but his mind was already settled.
Just as he was about to throw me out of the house, Jack showed up. "Hold on!" He ordered from where he stood upstairs. I looked up and saw him with a look that showed he was angry.
"Jack....." I whispered under my breath.
"Let her in." He ordered the security guard. The guard stared at me one last time before letting go of me.
I quickly ran upstairs into the room to meet with Jack. He was drinking a cup of coffee while typing on his laptop. "What do you want?" He asked me not looking at me.
"I just wanted to see you Jack." I started.
"You've seen me now so what else?" He asked again still typing on his laptop.
"Look at these pictures Jack." I said as I brought out pictures of both of us on our wedding day and our children's pictures. He stared at then before looking back at me.
"Look Emily, don't think I let you in here to fill me with your lies. It's not going to work." He said seeming angry.
"No no Jack. I'm trying to help you regain your memory." I persuaded him. "Remember those times we would stay together and discuss about-----------"
"I think you should start heading home now." He said, cutting me off immediately. He rose to his feet, his height overshadowing mine.
"Look Jack... I just need you to remember so you can know the truth." I begged him.
"Leave immediately before I call the security." He said harshly.
THIRD PERSON POV
Vivian alights from her car as she walks into an old house out from the city. She checks every room before she found what she was looking for.
"I thought you would never come for me?" The male voice spoke. His figure was hidden in a black shades from the wall as the sun hit hard on it.
"Of course I will. I don't forget those close to me." Vivian said as they hugged each other.
"And how are you mourning?" He asked her.
"Well, it's hard...but as time goes on, it keeps getting easier and easier." She replied smiling at him. He had a shawl covered around his shoulders.
"What about Veronica?" He asked her.
"She has taken her pay and has left the country." Vivian answered. "Enough of those questions and tell me what to do with Jack. He's in the house now and doesn't remember anything." Vivian asked as one of the servants brought a glass of wine.
"Are you sure he truly lost his memory or he is trying to play you?" The male figure asked her.
For a moment Vivian stopped. She hadn't thought about it before. She suddenly shook her head sideways. "No no. He has absolutely lost his memory. He resented his family and even Emily after feeding him with enough lies." Vivian explained, trying hard not to believe that Jack was playing with her mind.
"Hmm......" He breathed heavily while still thinking.
"Ok, but I would advice that you keep a close watch on him from now on." The male figure told her.
"Of course I will. There's nothing to worry about." Vivian answered smiling. They continued planning on more plans as they spoke indistinctively.
...
Jack and Emily were still in the room and Emily was trying hard to help Jack regain part of his memory but it seemed and proved futile. She lost hope after he told her he would call on the security to throw her out.
As she stared into those blue ocean eyes of Jack's, she could only think about those unforgettable memories she shared with him. She cherished them so much that as she thought of them, tears started rolling down her cheeks.
As she turned her back to leave, she held her necklace and suddenly a thought sprung up in her head. "Yes!! Necklace!!" She said as she sprung around to face Jack.
"What is it this time?" He asked seeming tired of her disturbance.
"Do you remember this necklace?" She asked him as she held it to his face. His facial expression suddenly changed into a soft one as if he remembered it but he suddenly became pissed. "You bought it for me, remember?" She added not wanting to give up.
"Guards!!" Jack's deep voice sent vibration through the spine of Emily. She felt the whole house shaken by his sudden uproar.
In no time, the guards arrived. "Take her away and never let her in here." He ordered before they took her out.
"Jack please. Pleaseeeeeee..." Emily cried out as they dragged her downstairs.
She felt so broken because all the efforts she tried making were all in vain. Her heart was heavy and in pain. At that point she doubted if Jack could ever regain his memory. He seemed so sure about who was at that time than who he was before.
"Emily!!" She heard that familiar voice call her name. The security guards stopped and turned to look at who called her name. Emily turned back and saw Jack's promising face looking right at her.
She felt butterflies in her stomach once again after a very long time. "Jack?" She called out his name almost in a whisper. She saw that familiar gleam in his eyes. He looked like he was already crying.
"Jack?" She whispered his name out again in a way only her could hear it. The guards left her hand and left immediately. She stood there not knowing what to do. She didn't know whether to run and hug him or stand and watch him from there.
They stood there staring right into each other's eyes, but she couldn't see clearly because he was far from her. He started coming down the stairs and came to her. It was then she saw her husband.
The husband she married and it was then that it dawned on her that he had regained his memory.
