Gwen was seated with Sibby in the lecture hall, her eyelids drooping due to lack of sleep. Her thoughts had occupied her brain like a tornado whole night long.
They were waiting for Professor Longbottom to arrive for the lecture. He was late.
She glanced back at the three empty seats in the back row where Thorndyke was usually seated with Ty and Vlad, but the trio hadn't arrived yet.
Sighing heavily, Gwen turned her head to Sibby who was looking at her with a sheepish grin, wiggling her eyebrows.
Gwen rolled her eyes, knowing exactly what that look meant. Sibby's mischief was never a good sign.
"Don't say it," she warned, anticipating what her friend was about to say.
"Say what?" Sibby feigned innocence, her grin growing even wider.
Gwen sighed, "You know what I mean, Sibby. You've got that look on your face again like a kid in a fucking candy shop."
