Two weeks later…
Elisa's pov
Tara stepped into my room with a gorgeous wedding dress. It was from one of the best designers in Forest Hill.
She was my maid assigned by Tristan.
"Do you like it, madam?" She asked.
"Of course!" My lips smiled.
Tara was extremely respectful and kind towards me, unlike the arrogant maids at Kian's mansion who never paid attention to my care…because Kian himself never gave me any importance.
Why would the maids pay attention to someone who was ignored by their pack's Alpha?
They would gossip about me all the time but I never cared about those petty things. Well, it was a mistake…I should have shut their chatty mouths.
Not only the wedding dress but my entire wardrobe was replaced with new clothes on Tristan's orders, and the new clothes were completely different from usual style.
Most of my clothes were simple dresses with full sleeves. Nothing flashy or unique or seductive.
"Don't you think the dresses are too revealing?" My brows raised.
A smile glinted on Tara's lips and she moved closer to my presence.
"They will look good on you, madam." She mumbled in her soft tone. Her eyes appeared to be genuine.
Tara was right. It was time for me to let go of the old Selena and adapt to a new appearance. Who knows bolder clothes might help me with confidence in front of my enemies.
I decided to keep the new wardrobe.
Tara helped me change into that gorgeous wedding dress and tied my long hair into a messy bun.
My eyes were stunned at my own reflection in the mirror. The new Selena indeed brought a smile to my lips.
I still remember my tragic wedding day with Kian Salvatore. Rosy outshined me with her sexy white dress and diverted all the attention to herself.
Compared to her marvelous dress, my wedding dress was lame and plain. It was Rosy who chose my wedding dress, saying Kian likes simple things.
She made a fool out of me!!
"You're looking very pretty, madam," Tara whispered.
"Thank you!" I replied in soft tone.
Later, she guided my way to a black car parked outside the mansion. The car was sent by Tristan with the same driver from that rainy night.
We perched inside the car and the driver drove us straight to a beach quiet far from the mansion.
As we arrived, I was amazed. The beach was beautifully decorated with the wedding venue. Everything was perfect except there were no guests.
It was just the priest, Tara, and the same tall man from that day…Josh Davis, Tristan's friend, and his loyal Gamma.
And of course, Tristan Presley, the main character!
He was standing next to the priest, wearing a black tuxedo, looking devilishly handsome. His sharp jawline attracted my gaze…and slowly I moved that gaze up to charming blue eyes.
Our eyes locked, and his face immediately turned cold as if he was being forced by me for this wedding.
After our intense contract discussion…this was our second meeting. Tristan was gone for two weeks, leaving me alone in the mansion with Tara.
For a second, I thought he changed his mind and abandoned me, but again, the mansion was more comfortable without the dangerous devil.
My feet slowly walked the red carpet and reached his presence. He glared at me with merciless eyes.
The priest stepped forward and distracted his cruel gaze from my face.
"Do you take Selena Lopez as your wife?" The priest asked Tristan.
"I do!" He answered in his deep voice.
Even though we were getting married, the Silver Crest pack would never accept an enemy as their Luna.
"Do you accept Tristan Presley as your husband?" The priest shifted his gaze to me.
My lips sucked in a deep breath and answered…"Yes, I do!"
We both spiked our thumbs and mixed our blood in a plain bowl of water.
"You may now kiss the bride and seal the marriage with Moon Goddess's blessings." The priest mumbled in his dulcet tone.
"No need for that." The devil refused and landed his deadly gaze on my face.
"Uhm…congra-tulations then…I ma-y now pronounce you husband and wife." The priest fumbled for a jiff but managed to finish his sentence.
Josh escorted the priest to one of the black cars parked a little far from the altar. Tara also followed them, leaving me behind with the devil.
"Shall we?" Tristan asked.
"Are we going back together?" I inquired.
"Do you want to go with someone else?" He lost his calmness.
"Of course not." My lips forced a smile.
He didn't say anything and walked over to his car. My small steps followed.
By the time we arrived at the Presley mansion, it was already night.
"Now what?" My lips mumbled.
Tristan walked past me.
I turned around only to see him heading towards his bedroom.
"What's wrong with him?" My frustration murmured.
I never thought that I would be staying with another man except Kian Salvatore, but life surprises you with unexpected events.
It was time for my revenge!
My feet approached the stairs but Tara interrupted. She was holding a pain relief cream in her hand.
"Take this, madam." Her words rolled down her tongue in a soft tone.
"For what?" I was confused.
"It's your first night with Alpha…so you might need this cream for pain and I will also call our family doctor for you in the morning." Her fingers were struggling with each other.
"Oh my God! Stop it!"
"Is he that dangerous in bed?." My voice whispered, anxious and embarrassed.
She couldn't answer.
There was no way Tristan would break my bones while having sex, right?
A curse can't be that bad!
Tara didn't say anything and gushed back to her quarter.
Coming back to my room, I took a fresh shower and changed into one of those lace nightdresses.
*Knock *Knock
"Who could it be this late?"
I opened the door and see Tristan outside.
He entered my room without permission and commanded..."close the door."
