Elisa's pov
Upon arriving in the middle of the woods, my eyes witnessed a woman covered in blood on the muddy ground and a few men circled around her.
"What's going on here?" I groaned.
They all turned their heads to me and a mischievous smile glinted on each one of their wicked mouths.
"Oh! Luna!" The one with silver hair stepped forward. He had an ugly scar on the left side of his face.
"We were just teaching this stupid woman a good lesson for going against her pack." Words rolled down his tongue.
"What does that mean?"
My brows furrowed.
"She bowed to you and that was her fault." The man mumbled.
I was shocked!
My eyes glanced at the woman behind them on the ground and she was the same woman who threw mud on me earlier.
Just because she called me Luna and bowed her head…they were angry.
"Let her go!" My voice commanded.
"How dare an enemy pack's woman command us?" That man walked over to me in rage and yanked my hair.
"You don't belong with us." His devilish voice whispered.
I thought my speech made them see me in a different light but nothing changed. They only pretended to accept me in front of their ruthless Alpha.
The man dragged me to a tree and his free hand grabbed my neck.
"Kill that woman!" His sinister gaze shifted to one of his friends standing behind him.
The one with brown hair flaunted his claws and, in the blink of an eye, pulled out that woman's heart from her chest.
I was horrified.
She died right in front of me and I failed to protect her.
It was my first time seeing something so frightening, so scary.
The woods replenished with their sinister laughs.
"You see that?" The man grabbed my cheeks aggressively.
"Now your turn to die, Luna."
My heart dropped to my stomach and fear crawled over my skin. The silver-haired man pushed out his claws and pointed them at my heart on my chest.
"Goodbye, Luna."
I can't die like this!
I didn't come this far just to get killed.
Help me, Moon Goddess.
Help me, please.
The moment his claws were about to enter my chest, a strong white light shrouded my body and my hands forced him back.
His feet toppled and he fell on the ground.
"How dare you, wench?" One of them growled.
They all attacked me together, yet only Moon Goddess knew what happened that each one of them died in my hands.
I slashed them with so much strength.
Blood was dripping from my claws…
For the first time, I witnessed my claws. They never showed up before. It was truly a miracle for someone like me who couldn't shift into her wolf.
Does this mean there's still hope?
Tears rolled down my eyes as my gaze landed on the dead bodies on the ground.
My claws ripped off their hearts from their chests and none of them could survive. The white light disappeared soon after they all were dead.
My soul was trembling.
I just killed five people from the enemy pack right after Tristan Presley announced me as his Luna.
The woman was dead, too.
Unexpectedly…
Footsteps reached my ears.
Tristan and Josh found me... standing next to the dead bodies of their pack people.
His eyes widened as soon as he saw me covered in blood. The Presley mansion guards also joined the two.
"Did you kill them?" Josh raises his voice.
"They tried to kill me…" I opened my mouth.
"You shouldn't have trusted her!" Josh interrupted me in the middle and groaned angrily.
"I was protecting myself." My voice climbed the highest pitch.
Each one of them was looking at me suspiciously, even Tristan.
"That woman threw mud on you earlier." Josh pointed at her dead body.
"I didn't kill her." A drop of sweat rolled down my forehead.
My feet stepped forward.
"STAY RIGHT THERE!" Tristan groaned.
His voice was so strong that even the birds left their nests. I could even hear the crows expressing fear.
"You killed my people!" His voice muttered underneath a heavy breath.
"Perhaps Kian Salvatore was here, right?"
"Trust me, please," I begged him.
He turned his face to Josh and whispered something into his ear.
My fingers clenched either side of my bloody dress as the hair on the back of my neck arose. Josh and the guards approached the dead bodies whereas Tristan grabbed my wrist and dragged me back to his mansion.
Throughout the route, he was silent.
As soon as we arrived…
"TARA"
"WHERE ARE YOU?" Tristan's voice shook the entire mansion.
Tara appeared within seconds and her face was as pale as dead.
"Elisa was your responsibility, right?"
His eyes glared at her.
"What happened, Alpha?" She gulped.
"Your Luna killed our people and if it weren't for a maid who saw her sneaking outside the mansion, we would have never found out."
Tara was shocked.
"Tristan" I uttered his name in distress.
"This is a misunderstanding."
"It was them who tried to kill me first and they even killed that woman."
He cupped my cheeks using quite a force and commanded me to shut up. His eyes deadly as of a predator.
It wasn't his fault though!
Why would anyone trust an enemy over their own pack?
"Tara"
"Yes, Alpha?"
"Make sure she doesn't step out of her bedroom until the investigation is over." He ordered her.
Tara nodded her head and escorted me to my bedroom quietly.

Tristan' pov
What was she thinking about going alone into the woods without protection?
I was searching for her everywhere like a madman only to see her covered in blood. It was impossible for someone like her to kill five strong men.
But her hands were covered in blood.
My gaze noticed red lines on her neck as if someone tried to strangle her. Elisa was telling the truth.
I couldn't take her side without proof. People would say she made those marks herself to cover up her crime.
Even Josh was suspicious!
What happened wasn't a small thing. Five men were dead and the people wouldn't just sit back and accept it.
Elisa was in grave danger.
But again…
"What if she's plotting something against my pack with Kian?"
