"We are trapped." Sophie shouted with sad expression.
Sophie was just a mortal, while limitless' powers had no limits, fear was natural. At the next moment, edward, sophie and bruce died with just a blink, got exploded.
The explosion was so fierce that none of a single piece of their body left behind. everything in their body got simply erased just by this explosion while limitless did not even touched them.
After that, limitless was thinking it is no use staying there anymore, as he was flying towards the sky to escape this blessed land, he was unable to make it outside of this blessed land. he was not aware what's stopping him. it was impossible to stop him if there's no supreme king around. he tried to escape in every single way, even teleportation failed.
Limitless realised the one who got trapped by him himself! and he also realised that it was system's scheme, executed perfectly.
Limitless shouted in the sky with anger, Stretching his both arms: "Edward, i am going to kill you after getting out of here."
[Revived Edward]
[Revived Sophie]
[Revived Bruce]
Edward, bruce and sophie got revived into the same place where the meeting held some minutes ago at cosmos court because he died there when dante killed him few minutes ago.
[I was able to tamper with limitless' sanity and lured him to be trapped inside your aperture because i am above omniscient]
[The danger is now reduced on a huge scale]
[Limitless is now trapped]
"Did i heard it wrong? System outsmarted limitless?" Bruce said with shock.
[Yes, I did]
"That's good you preserved my life again." Edward spoke towards system.
[Move forward to the banquet hall and find dante]
"Alright." Edward replied.
Edward was moving towards the banquet hall without questioning system that why he had to go there towards dante.
He was confident system will find a way to deal with him as well.
Edward opened the gate of the banquet hall, angels were eating there, but all their focus turned to edward.
Again, angels fell into deadly silence, not even dante was exception this time. he was silent as well, did not decided to attack first.
Dante, after reading limitless note, was waiting for limitless but was quite shocked to see edward arriving here instead of limitless.
Edward was currently not in his true form covered with the system. he was right now venerable level, like an ant Infront of everyone sitting there in the banquet hall. venerables can barely destroy a planet but the angels were beyond any normal venerable level cultivator's expectations. Edward was not normal venerable, he was an exception.
Dante interrupted the silence in hall as he spoke towards edward: "What are you here for?"
"Aren't you supposed to be dead already where is my main body?"
Edward replied: "Limitless who was pursuing me is trapped somewhere. i am here to say it and get killed again."
Dante thought internally: "How did he knew about limitless pursuing him, did he really trapped him? But..."
"Isn't that impossible?"
"Limitless can return in any minute, even if supeme king himself would trap him, the trap would not last much longer against mere trap. trap is trap afterall because trap is not supreme king."
Dante after swiftly thinking It, replied: "We, cosmos sect can never be blackmailed, threaten or feel fear. i will kill this system with you."
Dante's voice echoed throughout the banquet hall. every single angel paid attention to him.
At the next moment, without letting edward reply, dante attacked towards edward, sophie, bruce and the system.
He attacked without any physical touch, like limitless did. edward, sophie, bruce and even system burned in an instant and became black and rigid like stone after burning.
The system itself has been burned now. the board in which it appear and inform to edward about things, was rigid.
Dante teleported there, in front of their dead body, and stepped on each corpses including the system as he laughed loudly with joy.
Of course, he was not feeling truly joyful, because every single omniscient till now had no emotions. but edward was an exception with system controlling his emotions. he became neither evil nor good, only goal oriented like limitless, but later on, system influenced his emotions and changed his nature otherwise if he would be evil like those omniscients. edward would simply kill his companions or either use him without caring about them.
Dante was laughing, his laugh faded as he shouted in the banquet hall: "Everyone, we believe my main body, limitless will arrive here in no time. keep eating, long live cosmos sect."
As he said this, the main body of the four of them, Edward, Sophie, Bruce and System destroyed with no trace, dante decided not to preserve their dead bodies for anything to show it to limitless as the angels and the former venerables, who were gods now, leader of the divisions were witnesses. dante teleported into his own room right after destroying the bodies.
The deadly silence which edward caused before faded as Dante teleported into his room. all the angels ate their food with joy, they had joyous expression but they actually were not feeling joy, they were feeling nothing inside their heart as they were omniscient. they can feel if they want to, because they were god level, supreme king's were not jokes.
Edward could control his own emotions, he thought he is emotionless as well and can control his emotions, feel anything anytime he wanted and feel nothing anything he wanted, but actually the system was the one pulling his strings.
In fact, the system was pulling everyone's strings and the puppet master, the system's string was itself being pulled by the supreme king.
At an unknown place, the system revived edward, bruce and sophie.
Edward once again entrusted his life to the system, edward once again revived
Sophie said while touching his head: "Where are we?"
"Finally... I succeeded." Edward shouted.
"The way i got the entirety of heaven, the way i dealt with cosmos sect, and the way i trapped limitless, i am pleased with you, system."
"There is infinite joy in my heart."
Upon hearing edward's words, the supreme king reacted emotionlessly: "Everything is going well according to my plan, poor immature kid, Free things costs the most, you will never be able to see through my scheme with system controlling your emotions."
