Vin shrugged his shoulders in acknowledgement, "Though I'm not able to see through something that was specifically designed to block my gaze.
"But its seems they weren't on guard against that" Vin said.
"Well no one would have expected the leader of the Exodus Order who'd just come out of a battle, to raid another base after five days. Besides I'm sure the news would have spread everywhere by now." Archon stated.
"And its good you have the ability to spy on the enemy, this would make it easier." he added.
"Well, it precisely because I can see them that I know we can't go about this head on, their security is top-notch, and I can sense some terrifying auras in there." Vin replied.
"So what do we do?" Archon asked "We can't just abduct someone and force them to help us right?"
"Well you're right, because that is in fact precisely what I was planning to do" Vin replied.
"Whoa, Damn that's crazy, how do we do that?" Archon exclaimed.
"Why don't we get down first of all" Vin said, as he muttered a skill and the forcefield world blinked out appearing a second later within the forest.
"I found a secret entrance that would lead us directly to the place where the vessels are kept. Let's go!" Vin ordered before dashing forward, with the others following closely behind.
The moved quickly through the winding evergreen trees circling round the range of hills until they got to a certain corner of one of the hills.
Vin stopped moving immediately and ordered them to remain quiet as they rested their backs against the wall of a high hill.
"There a secret entrance over there, and there are two guards manning it in secret" Vin whispered as he pointed towards a certain direction.
"So what do we do, are we all going in? Archon asked on faint whispers. But Vin shook his head.
"Only us both will be going, the rest of them can't, wait here" Vin replied, then he casted 'Neptune's Protection' using it to encase him and the rest of Exodus Order along with the vessels and researchers they had rescued.
"Celestial Authority ~ Hermes Celeration".
He muttered and they all blinked out, vanishing into thin air, before that Vin made sure one of the Shadows used an illusion on them, because usingĀ 'Hermes Celeration' causes a faint violet light to flash out for the briefest of seconds.
He didn't want to alert the guards so they needed to be as quiet and fast as possible.
A while later the appeared on a plain field, that was a few hundred meters away from the evergreen forest.
'Hermes Celeration' granted him the ability to move unhindered to anywhere he could see or anywhere he had marked before.
But for now, he could only move as five hundred meters away, but the distance he could cover would increase as he got stronger.
"There are a lot of strong figures within that base" he started "So I can't risk bringing too much people to avoid alerting them. You guys should wait here. We won't be long." Vin addressed them.
"We'll await your return Lord Zero" Zidane replied with a bow.
"Hmmm" Vin nodded before he tapped his feet and blinked away in a violet flash.
He appeared a while later at the spot they had first appeared with the forest, then he made a dash towards Archon's position.
"Any sudden movements?" he asked as soon as he got there. "No, not yet" Archon replied. "That's good then" Vin said.
"So what's your master plan Zero?" Archon asked.
Vin's gaze narrowed, his mind racing with the possibilities. "I've got an idea. There's a trait I have called God's Eye, which can do a whole lots of things. I'll use God's Eye to control the two keyguards manning the secret passage. We can bypass the main security and reach the Vessels undetected."
Archon's eyes widened. "You can do that? Control someone's actions remotely?"
Vin nodded. "With God's Eye, I can manipulate his soul. The keyguards' actions will be mine to command."
Archon's voice was laced with a little concern. "Zero, that's a heavy burden to carry. Controlling someone's actions goes against the natural order."
Vin's expression turned grim. "I know, but desperate times call for desperate measures. We'll use this advantage to save the Vessels and stop them from becoming Dark Disciples. We need them anyways"
Archon spoke up, his voice firm. "We'll need to move quickly. Once you take control, we'll have a limited window to reach the Vessels before the organization realizes what's happening."
Vin nodded, hand on the hilt of his sword. "I'll take the one on the other side, subdue the one in front of you."
Vin stared on ahead. "I've got the keyguard in my sights. Let's move, now."
Then he blinked away appearing almost immediately in front of a guard wearing dark amours, perfectly blending him within the shadows.
And before the guard could even raise any alarms, Vin muttered.
"God's Eye ~ Gaze of Death"
His eyes immediately glowed a very deep violet color as a ripple left his eyes and entered the guard's eyes. The guard immediately felt a sharp pain in his head as fell to his knees.
At its peak Gaze of Death was a fatal stare that would sever the targets soul from their body, ending their life at a glance.
But Vin still wasn't strong enough to do that just yet, but what he could do do was still quite enough for his current purpose.
"God's Eye ~ Death Slave"
A runic symbol condensed from Soul Energy that depicted the word 'SLAVE' immediately left his eyes and appeared on the forehead of the guard.
Vin only knew it was Soul Energy because of the information God's Eye gave, but he still had no idea how it worked exactly, as he hadn't reached the required strength to do so.
Due to the fact that the guard's soul had been attacked beforehand, he couldn't resist the 'Death Slave' skill and his soul was fully taken over leaving him with no will of his own.
"Master" the new Death Slave guard said as he genuflected on the ground. Vin nodded and moved towards Archon's position.
"I've already knocked him out, but he'll wake up soon, in a few minutes or so" Archon said.
"That's enough time" Vin said before muttering towards the guard.
"God's Eye ~ Death Slave"
The same runic symbol appeared on the forehead of the unconscious guard, who couldn't even muster the slightest resistance.
After that Vin sat down to rest a while, using God's Eye this repeatedly to cast these heavy skills took a toll on his Mental Strength and drained his Soul Energy.
It's was only a couple of minutes later when the guard woke, and he immediately genuflected.
"Master"
Vin nodded his head in approval, while this guard was still unconscious he had already used a skill.
"God's Eye ~ Spiritual Surveillance"
Which granted Vin insight into a targets thoughts, emotions and intentions to scour through their memories and gain valuable information.
With Vin's guidance, the duo slipped into the shadows, their path illuminated by the faint glow of God's Eye. The keyguards, who were now Vin's Death Slaves, opened the secret passage, granting them access to the heart of the enemy's stronghold.
Upon passing through the entrance, Vin used his knowledge of the runic symbols to bypass the security wards, granting them access through the hidden pathways on the base. They moved swiftly, their footsteps quiet on the cold stone floor.
As they descended deeper into the base, they encountered several guards, but Archon's blood skills and Vin's mastery of the God's Eye allowed them to evade or silently dispatch their foes.
Reaching the vessel holding area, they found over a thousand individuals suspended in stasis pods, their souls ripe for harvesting. Vin and Archon worked in tandem, using their unique abilities to bypass the pods' security locks and awaken the vessels.
With the vessels freed, Vin and Archon led them in a silent, swift exodus from the base, avoiding detection by the enemy forces. They moved with precision, their plan honed to perfection.
As they emerged from the secret entrance, Vin activated a skill as he muttered,
"God's Eye ~ Spiritual Veil"
This concealed their Spiritual Presence, obscuring their escape route and preventing pursuit. The group vanished into the night, leaving behind a base in disarray and a sinister plot foiled.
Their daring rescue mission accomplished, Vin and Archon had dealt a significant blow to the enemy, saving countless lives and shattering the Dark Disciples' plans. The fate of the vessels, once destined for darkness, now held a glimmer of hope.
Vin couldn't take all of them together at once as that would drain the most of his Spiritual Energy, but due to their lack of time he had to do so, as the enemy would soon to discover the absence of the vessels.
"Celestial Authority ~ Neptune's Protection"
A large amount of concentrated violet colored runic symbols condensed around them like a small world. And then....
"Celestial Authority ~ Hermes Celeration"
They blinked out, vanishing into a violet light, and appearing a while later where the members of the Exodus Order were waiting for them.
By now about seventy percent of his energy had been drained and he needed to rest a while before they could move again.
But Vin wasn't satisfied with just this, as he looked towards the evergreen forest.
"I'll be back for you" he muttered to himself.
