Chapter 56 - Chronicle 56 ~ Exodus Imperium

It didn't take long for them to find a few more people to add the numbers, in fact within two days they had already recruited eight more people, bringing their numbers to fifteen.

But these eight people weren't just any random people, a few of them were people who Vin had gone on missions with, while the rest of them were recruited by the other six.

All seven of them made sure they choose people whom they'd had dealings with in the past and hence could be trusted a little.

As Vin stood looking at the fourteen people in front of him. He nodded his head in satisfaction. Next they needed to register themselves in the Faction Hall, but before that.

"Now then, since we're all here, we need to form our own faction in other to make the most out of the potential beast tide mission, now I could either just register with the little points I have which I'm sure would only give us a poor foundation, or we could all contribute our points to the betterment of this faction" Vin addressed them.

"And how much points do we all need to contribute?" someone asked.

"You all just need to bring five thousand points each I'll do the rest" Vin replied.

But they all exclaimed at this, five thousand might not sound like a lot but it was still a pain for them to release it on just forming a faction.

"And how much are you, the supposed leader contributing to this?" another person asked.

His name was Riker and he was the second strongest after Vin as he was already in the fourth stage.

"Fifteen Thousand" Vin only said two words which shut them up immediately. And then they realized, if he was promising to bring out fifteen thousand points, then they really couldn't complain.

"If we make the arrangements like that, it would bring it up to a total of eighty-five thousand points!!." Fourna exclaimed.

"Very well then" Cassius said as he stepped forward and transfered five thousand points to Vin, and almost immediately Raya, Marco and Fourna stepped forward and did the same.

The rest of them seeing this also stepped up and did the same. Riker was the last person to step forward and as soon as he did, Vin gave them a nod of approval, before turning around and leading them towards the Faction Hall.

Faction Hall of the Inner Court, a few minutes later.

Amidst the grandeur of the Inner Court, the Faction Hall stands as a testament to the intricate balance of power. This majestic structure, with its soaring vaulted ceilings and polished marble floors, served as the gathering place for the esteemed factions. The hall's walls were adorned with intricate frescoes depicting the history of the Flaming Sun Sect, while ornate tapestries woven with silver and gold threads shimmer in the soft luminescence.

At the hall's center, a grand fountain flows with crystal clear water, symbolizing the source of wisdom and unity. The air was alive with the whispers of alliances forged and strategies debated, as representatives from each faction convened to shape the destiny of the sect.

Located at the heart of the Inner Court, the Faction Hall served as a sacred registry for those seeking to forge a new path. This revered chamber, with its simple yet elegant architecture, was where visionaries and leaders came to birth their ideas and bring them to life.

Upon entering, a grand stone pedestal bears the Tome of Factions, an ancient text containing the history and tenets of every recognized faction. The air was thick with anticipation, as petitioners prepare to inscribe their own chapter in the annals of the sect's history.

The Registration Process

_Declaration_: Petitioners declare their intent to form a new faction, stating their purpose and ideals.

_Inscription_: The faction's name, symbol, and tenets are recorded in the Tome of Factions.

_Sanctioning_: The Inner Court's governing body reviews and sanctions the new faction, granting recognition and legitimacy.

Within these hallowed walls, the seeds of revolution, innovation, and progress are sown. The Faction Hall stands as a beacon, illuminating the path for those brave enough to shape the future of Eridoria.

Vin accompanied by the rest of his allies arrived at the Faction Hall, a sense of determination and purpose in his stride. The hall's custodian, a wise and aged figure with eyes aglow like embers greeted him warmly with a nod.

"The time has come, young one" the custodian said, his voice like the rustling of parchment. "Declare your intent and let the Tome of Factions bear witness to it."

Vin approached the pedestal, the Tome lying open like a chasm of possibilities. He raised his voice, letting his words echo off the stone walls:

"I, Vin, declare the formation of the Exodus Imperium, we shall unite the disparite forces and deciples of the sect, guiding them towards a brighter future, free from tyranny an oppression."

As he spoke, the air seem to vibrate with anticipation. The custodian handed him a sacred quill, dipped in in ink imbued with Spiritual Energy.

Vin carefully inscribed the name "Exodus Imperium" onto a blank page in the Tome of Factions, as he wrote, the ink shimmered, infusing the text, with a subtle magical energy, glowing like a promise.

Vin then presented the symbol of the Exodus Imperium: a stylized golden winged-spear, representing freedom, protection, and forward momentum, he then recites the factions tenets:

"United we stand, unyielding in our pursuit of liberty.

"Guided by wisdom, we forge a brighter future.

"Together we rise, an unbreakable Imperium"

The custodian nodded, his eyes aglow with a deep understanding. "The Inner Court shall review your declaration. May the sanctioning bring you strength and purpose."

The custodian presented Vin's declaration, inscription, symbol and tenets to the Inner Court's governing body, who reviewed and deliberated. After a moment of consideration, they granted their sanction, recognizing Exodus Imperium as a legitimate faction.

Vin waited, his heart pounding like a drum, as the governing body deliberated. Finally, the custodian returned, a warm smile on his face.

"Exodus Imperium is recognized. May your name become synonymous with hope and freedom."

The Faction Hall's magical energies responded to the sanctioning, as the Tome of Factions glowed softly. Welcoming Vin's new faction into the annals of the sect's history.

The new members of the Exodus Imperium cheered silently as the custodian presented Vin with a leather-bound copy of the Exodus Imperium's entry in the Tome.

With this the Exodus Imperium was born, it's name etched on the annals of the Flaming Sun Sect's history. Vin now the leader of a recognized faction, stood ready to shape the future of the realm.

Now came the second most important thing when creating a new faction. Purchasing a new faction site to act as the base of the Exodus Imperium.

"I need to purchase a faction site" Vin said to the custodian.

"And how much is you budget for this site?" the custodian asked.

"Eighty-five thousand points" Vin stated.

The custodian brought out a list of faction sites, that could be purchased with that amount of points. Each of the factions sites had an image conjured out of Spiritual Energy for better view and assessments.

Vin stood before the Faction Hall's custodian, ready to secure a decent faction site for Exodus Imperium. After a while of studying he had narrowed his options to three suitable locations, each offering unique advantages. Just as he was about to make his decision, a figure emerged from the shadows.

The stranger's piercing gaze locked onto Vin, his eyes burning with an intensity that made Vin's instincts twitch. The man's features were chiseled, his jawline sharp, and his dark hair slicked back, revealing a prominent widow's peak.

"Ah, perfect timing," the custodian said, oblivious to the tension. "This gentleman has some... information regarding the faction sites."

The stranger smiled, his lips curling upward. "Vin, I presume? I've heard a lot about you. I'm Dagner Cadmus, Daemon Cadmus's brother."

Vin's eyes narrowed, connecting the dots. Daemon Cadmus, the opponent he had crippled during the Mortal Rankings tournament a few months back. He had already forgotten Daemon even had a brother, let alone one who seemed to harbor a deep-seated grudge.

Dagner's smile grew wider as he approached the custodian, whispering something in his ear. The custodian's expression shifted from neutral to concerned, glancing at Vin with a hint of apology.

"I'm afraid there's been a... complication," the custodian said, clearing his throat. "It seems the faction site you were interested in has... issues. Unstable energy, toxic soil... not suitable for a faction base."

Vin's instincts screamed foul play, but Dagner's innocent expression and the custodian's apparent sincerity stayed his protest. Dagner's eyes never left Vin's face, his gaze piercing, as if daring him to challenge the sudden change.

The custodian continued, "However, I can offer you an alternative. A... unique opportunity. Sage's Hollow, despite its challenges, holds certain... potential. For a faction willing to take risks."

Dagner's smile grew, his eyes glinting with triumph. Vin realized too late that he'd been manipulated. The custodian, influenced by Dagner, was pushing him toward the very site he'd initially dismissed.

With a sense of unease, Vin accepted the deed to Sage's Hollow, the custodian's words echoing in his mind: "For a faction willing to take risks." Little did he know, this was only the beginning of a dangerous game, one that would test Exodus Imperium's resolve and Vin's leadership.
